  • This post explains how to convert a computer hard disk drive into a DIY inverter that can output 220V AC power. It provides step-by-step instructions on dismantling the HDD, wiring it to produce AC power, adding voltage regulation, and safety precautions. The post aims to demonstrate a fun electronics project for experienced makers to build an improved power backup from e-waste.

@@DIY_GeneratorTo get 600w of power through the inverter, it is necessary to dissipate about 200 watts of power into heat. I don't see a single radiator here. And another 600 watts is 50 amperes, which neither a small battery, nor very thin wires, nor a transformer can withstand. First, learn the materiel, and then shoot a fake video so that it does not look like an outright fraud!

You are wrong, I only used 300w max and it only worked for a very short time so I didn't attach a heatsink to it, But if it works continuously then I use a heatsink.

It's impossible to repeat! This person is blatantly cheating everyone trying to get more views. A typical fake from a person who does not understand anything in electronics.

There are several giveaway signs, and you're soldering nonsense together. I'm an electronics technician, and I can see that what you're doing makes no sense. I assume there's a battery pack hidden in the power strip, and that's what powers all the devices.
