And.... you didn't break anything, so that's a win. As someone new to this sport I love how much I've been learning. I also appreciate everyone that's helped me, shared their knowledge, or has given me tips. This is a great community. Good job even with the red lights. Those are great RT.
That is a beautiful Vega that engine builder on you tube Bob anothany had a Vega looked just like your car . I would love to see some grudge racing if your into that.
Awesome video. In bracket racing you need to invest in a RaceAir Pro Weather station to help with changing weather and track conditions. Without it you are guessing your dial in.
really enjoyed watching your video and how much you enjoy racing..i race a Vega myself .. i noticed your car pulling hard to the left.. if its a ladder bar car you need to take a half turn out of the top right bar... you have too much pre load.. also get a measuring ribbon like a tailor would have, it needs to be over 100 inches.. measure the diameter of both rear tires. they need to be within 1/4 inch.. keep up the braket racing and recording
Good job and congratulations on the 4 pack. That won’t lose. And on the flip side, sounds like you about gave the next race back to the guy. I’m not particularly a fan of holding numbers and playing on top end and that’s why but to each their own for sure. Stick with bracket racing. A lot less drama.
@@MountainStateRacing that’s very possible. It’s a good rule of thumb to lift when you know you can’t take the stripe. You just got to be careful with killing that much time with a double oh light lol. Sucks to lose with a redlight but it hurts worse to lose with a double oh lol.
I am new to bracket racing and only run a 7.06 consistently. Do you recommend just trying to run my number or holding numbers as I really don't understand that. And I can't find any videos on holding numbers and why they do it.

Absolutely. I’m going to see if we can’t put that together soon.
Good video
Thanks! We’re hoping to get more racing content out soon. Just waiting for the weather to break.
Heads up racing is a lot of fun
Originally that’s all I wanted to do, but I feel like bracket racing is very good experience. Very little margin for error.
I love the bracket content! Everybody is doing the no prep thing now.
Yeah I’m enjoying it. I may add in some heads up stuff every now and then
Love the bracket racing!
I am with the others that want the bracket racing. Probably because that's my focus at the track.

Bracket race!
I love the bracket content... Great job out there. Nice racecar buddy!
Let’s see hopefully I can go to the track with u guys next summer! Keep up the great work! 👍😎
Come on down. We’re going in the morning. See if Ben will come pick you up
@@MountainStateRacing next summer though! 😂

Badass Vega! I like the bracket content. 😎👍🏻
Thank you! Most people are fans of the bracket stuff
Just found your channel.. more bracket racing for sure. Does the car just need some rear end adjustments to get it to launch straight?
Yeah I think we just need to move a little percentage over and it will be fine. I’m glad you found us! Hopefully you enjoy the content!

He had me beat. He ran dead on his number and beat me on the light both times. He’s good
@@MountainStateRacing I meant the run after your perfect light. You was 006 and 4 above. Other guy was 03 and 2 above.
@@matthewanderson9912 oh yeah that one was close but it didn’t look that close to me at the stripe. I think he was ripping too.

you’d be the only content creator I know that does both m
Love them content. My only comment is stop putting it in neutral after a run leave it gear. I have seen many hit reverse and crash.
My car has a pro brake so it won’t go into reverse. Also the shifter is locked out to neutral.
is it me or your car shoots left every time in my eyes having to actually drive it and still winning
Yeah it’s moving around a little. Sometimes a lot. I need a good test day to do some adjustments.
If you ran a 5.49 earlier when it was warmer and then the track cooled down why would you only dial a 5.50?
I hold numbers. I can always make my car slower, but I can’t make it faster.
@@MountainStateRacing Copy that
How are you not wearing a neck collar, gloves and have a window net at faster than 6.39?

The more I race, the better I’ve gotten at holding numbers. It’s really fun to hold some numbers, but it takes time to learn to get good at it.
