Has there been a study on how long threats remain standing during an engagement? Wondering why cops aren’t using more interactive targets, you know falling down after a few seconds of good hits.

I’m sure there has but I’m not aware of them. I think it would be really cool to incorporate but logistically I’m not sure how you could do that in live fire safely. I know kinetic concepts achieves this by having the target barely stand up on its own so it falls when you hit it but some threats could take more than one round to eliminate. Could be a million dollar idea🤔

@ I’m trying to gather my own data informally but my free time is limited. So far three seconds is the max regardless of the distance. Really important to shoot target focused and track movement.
