In this clip, Roland Martin talked about his experience at CNN as a contributor during the first Obama election. He revealed how he was being dismissed as a second-tier contributor until he showed his worth by getting information from the Obama camp that no one else at CNN had access to. Roland also discussed how his attempt at hosting a weekly show at CNN went south but was able to leverage that into a weekly show with the black-owned TV One media outlet.
