Diana Bravestorm we have a 15hh Welsh D that my sister is scared to jump higher than 1ft. I jump 2ft 6" on a 11hh pony at home and 2ft 3" when I'm out at a show. Little pony is only 5 years old!
Dude, that isn’t nice riding... that’s how you split your horses mouth. Also they aren’t getting good strides to the fences cos they don’t know how to half holt, they just rip there horses face of all the way down to the jump.
Lacey the horse lmao i was dumb a year ago don’t come at me, i used to be a raleigh supporter and that’s where that comment came from. i thought i knew everything about horse abuse but now sometimes i have my reins that short because of the same reason 😂
dayum the blue vest and light pink coat people tho.... like uhh... i just cant even: keep your legs forward, shoulders back and hands in their neck, this isnt some "LETS SWING OUR LEGS AND ARMS" competition XD
+jamie hudson It's needed tho, so they don't set off too early and then spook because of another horse, or so they dont run into another horse and either horse or rider get injured, it's not annoying to an experienced rider
Those poor horses: 1. The riders dont know their body position 2. The amount of screaming the horses had to tolerate 3. They pulled on the horses mouth
what annoys me very much is that some of these riders can't sit quietly and without pushing the horse to go forward with their own posture. what i noticed most was that some of the riders bounce in the saddle awfully lot and a few had their hands just flying around all the place. i do understand that the horses may be very difficult and i'm not saying any of these riders were bad, because they weren't and because i'm not a professional (and even professionals do mistakes) but i just noticed that some of these riders could have sat in the saddle more quietly and give leg more early. many horses refuse to go over if you push and push and push with your leg for them to maintain their tempo and rhythm. anyway enjoyed watching this! :)
Negative comments! It's a bit of fun, not an affiliated competition! Have you noticed a lot of the riders are really quite young? There's really no need to be horrid on peoples' videos, if they wanted crit they'd ask for crit.
The only reason most of them got as far as they did is because of the fact that most of them are ponies and ponies can jump almost anything. Some bad riding but looked like fun!
The main instructor who is preventing people from causing a collision by shouting 'next' so they know when it's safe to go. If you hadn't noticed, there are 12 horses/ponies in the school at one time.
Okay, personally I won’t criticise the riders for throwing their horses on the jumps because I’ve been there, I’m not perfect, but I’ve also noticed that some of them don’t put much leg on the horse, which is the reason their horses are giving huge jumps, trying to get over, but please add more leg!
Aw on 00:32 that horse looks like solace I ride:). Apart from solace used to dodge jumps and I almost fell off cause I was bareback! But wonderful work!:)
It's a fair size lol. There's a bigger one with a full course of jumps in though. :) This one's mainly used for weekend group lessons ha! I used to share the piebald, she's called Cha Cha :)
I loved the palomino I thought the rider kept it in controll very well I think the bay was soooooo cute we'll done to everyone who competed especially the winners
the little brown pony is amazing :D nice team those two! Rest did well too! Of course people will critize you but hey... nobodys perfect and as u said still a riding lesson ;) You all did really well and its most about the fun right? I really enjoyed watching you guys jumping. Good job!
Its chase me charlie- just for fun to go higher. It also helps some riders come to grip with reality, seeing they aren't ready for a height... or the opposite, it can build riders confidence by showing that higher isn't always scarier. Only to be done on trustworthy, sound horses. :)
Almost everyone's legs were moving about, and the riders don't go into any sort of jump position. Their toes are down over the jump, so they are pitched forward. Also, a few of the horses jumped strangely because their heads were being held up to high. It'd be easier for them if given just a bit longer rein.
Good riders! Some 2-points may need some work. But I loved the horsemanship in this video! I liked how you were in control of the horse using your legs and not a whip. Thought the horses' jumps are stiff. Maybe do cross-rail jumps and see if that helps. Try lounging a horse over a jump with a lead rope. This may seem like a critical comment, but I see potential in the riders and horses.
The girl in the gray jacket on the chestnut was approaching the jump way too fast, the girl in the pink and the one before her were flapping around like ducks and lots of them were kicking like crazy. The only good riders I could see was the one on the dapple gray and the girl on the big bay
The girl on the chestnut with grey jacket approached fast cause her pony was barging/pulling. She couldn't help it, but then again, could have lowered her hands and sat deeper telling him to shorten the stride or even slow down the stride, ponies don;'t always approach quick because they want to jump, sometimes it's to escpae it, or get it done quicker. :)
The chestnut pony was being a little bugger the one that's rider has a grey hoodie on 😂and also I haven't jumped yet learning to on Wednesday but weren't some of them going a little fast
OneOfAKind1295 did lukes pony Echo get sold, cause he moves and looks so much like my pony who my nan bought for me about 1-2 years ago and he is also called Echo.
Oh.....my.....god... The man yelling. I'm gonna go psycho.
He's my instructor steve ;)
Holy crap i feel the same.
Me to I hate that
Same 🤣
Fr
you dont need a big horse just a horse thats willing to jump it, like those tiny ponies still give it all they could!
The little ponies were flying!!!
Diana Bravestorm we have a 15hh Welsh D that my sister is scared to jump higher than 1ft. I jump 2ft 6" on a 11hh pony at home and 2ft 3" when I'm out at a show. Little pony is only 5 years old!
Wilma Annerback what's that in hands?
My pony is 13.2 and has jumped over 1m40
I have a horse (as you can see in my profile pic) and he can jump 1m 50cm
THEY ARE ALL FLOPPING AROUND LIKE A BAG OF TATERS
+That Awkward Equestrian The girl in the pink jacket was, she couldn't keep control of her legs it was so cringe worthy
CourtneyLHequestrian x yeah and she screamed after like all the jumps
The girl on the palomino with the polos was the only one who knew what they were doing
yassssss IKR!!!!
wasn't the one with the smallest pony there doing nothing wrong
Yes amen
Yes
Kennedy Hillier SMS Same
I hate how the people in the back screams... Can't be nice for the horses or riders
Same
+Emily Taylor even so, you don't scream around horses and riders, it could spook the horse or put off the rider causing an accident.
its so the horse doesn't refuse
He says next so it doesn’t take so long
NEXT
I love how the small ponies are showing up the big horses
I love how the girls on the chestnuts ride , FairPlay to them not getting upset when their horses are being silly (look super fun though!!!
The riders had the reins really tight that's why the horses tossed their heads... It was the riders fault
@@mariatsiamaki7677 yeah
Dude, that isn’t nice riding... that’s how you split your horses mouth. Also they aren’t getting good strides to the fences cos they don’t know how to half holt, they just rip there horses face of all the way down to the jump.
im sorry but some riders need to keep their leg more still
Ikr
That’s what I thought! 😒
Yes omg it was irritading me lol
You guys just throw your horses at fences.. That's why they're not jumping straight and you're getting left behind. Straightness is power, not speed.
Hear, hear! Straightness and control is the key.
The faster the messier.
Some horses just rush jumps it’s not the riders fault
@@xxzahlee_ginnsxx1544 Exactly. Some horses are more excited or young. Sometimes headstrong too.
those chestnuts were spunky!
Jasleen Grewal because those riders had their reins so short and the horses were just trying to pull to have some rein
@@Mia-hq7qj no they had their reins very short because the horse was rushing at the jump
Lacey the horse lmao i was dumb a year ago don’t come at me, i used to be a raleigh supporter and that’s where that comment came from. i thought i knew everything about horse abuse but now sometimes i have my reins that short because of the same reason 😂
@@Mia-hq7qj oh ok
anyone else feel dizzy watching this? XD
Haha you here :D So long ago you wrote this comment :o don't care 😂 Yeah a bit maybe xD
Maybe a tad.....but doing figure eights with a jump cantering gets me really dizzy XD
dayum the blue vest and light pink coat people tho.... like uhh... i just cant even: keep your legs forward, shoulders back and hands in their neck, this isnt some "LETS SWING OUR LEGS AND ARMS" competition XD

+CourtneyLHequestrian x yes it is
Agreed
he is just telling when its time to go
Why this randomly in my for you page 9 years later
Yikes! The chestnuts were CrAzY!
The reins where really tight that's why
Is it just me or does anyone else pause halfway through their jump 2 check their jump position?
Haha omg i did that too x
I did !!
Yep! Haha
Sarah Adshead I do now haha 😂
Sarah Adshead omg I do that to 😂
Some of those girls weren’t ready to be jumping that high
The one on the palomino was the only one that jumped well...
Omg the short bay pony is actually a pretty good jumper
The girl with the pink jacket had her legs swinging It is soooooooo aggravating
That looks so fun! 😁 great job with your riding all of you! One lesson is learned:
You don’t need a big horse to jump big!
The pony did great 👍
that palomino was georgeous. so was the dapple gray. they were probably the most controlled horses too. well done horse & rider
Did anyone else start getting dizzie from the cams or is that just me
Those poor horses:
1. The riders dont know their body position
2. The amount of screaming the horses had to tolerate
3. They pulled on the horses mouth
1. the riders ARE doing jump position
2. horses are used to it and they are lesson horses so they hear it everyday
3 they barely pulled
what annoys me very much is that some of these riders can't sit quietly and without pushing the horse to go forward with their own posture. what i noticed most was that some of the riders bounce in the saddle awfully lot and a few had their hands just flying around all the place. i do understand that the horses may be very difficult and i'm not saying any of these riders were bad, because they weren't and because i'm not a professional (and even professionals do mistakes) but i just noticed that some of these riders could have sat in the saddle more quietly and give leg more early. many horses refuse to go over if you push and push and push with your leg for them to maintain their tempo and rhythm. anyway enjoyed watching this! :)
This was a fun little thing they're doing. No need to go all instructor on them
love this, looks like a lot of fun on that yard i wish their was a yard like that near to me :)
Is that a riding lesson? Is that the one and only thing the instructor says - 'next'?
the girl on the palimino did really well. as well as the girl on the paint and dapple grey. LETS JUST SAY THEY ALL DID GREAT
Loved the 2 chestnuts and the Palomino! Love doing Chase Me Charlie on my horse as well ;D
That little grey pony with the light bluesaddle pad is the cutest thing ever.
I love how the the two tiny chestnut ponies and the two behind them charge at the jump like a barrel horse does in the shoot.
I love the ponies they just fly over the jump 😍
Negative comments! It's a bit of fun, not an affiliated competition! Have you noticed a lot of the riders are really quite young? There's really no need to be horrid on peoples' videos, if they wanted crit they'd ask for crit.
5:56 *TRIGGER FULL HULK SCREAMMMMMMMMM!*
😂😂😂😂
5:10 what are u doing, you don’t need to leg him forward to gallop, straight out, hands down, shoulders open.
Don’t throw that pony into the fence
I wanna ride the little Chestnut pony with rider in the red jacket. he/she looks so much fun to ride!
The only reason most of them got as far as they did is because of the fact that most of them are ponies and ponies can jump almost anything. Some bad riding but looked like fun!
aw great jumping everyonee -3 i love steve going 'NEXT' lol such a fun dayy :) so proud of cobby wallie too xxx
Livi and her pony (little girl at the end) seemed to the jumps easier than the big horses and the older riders! They got guts!
Princess sure has a lovely little pop!
All you guys did really good! I love the daple grey gorgeous
these horses helped them over every single fence
oh i LOVE chase me charlies!!
sophies only been riding about 3 years and she can ride that well!!!

Aww haha! And 12??? Wow! You must have a big school! I like the palomino, the big dapple grey and the piebald! :)
Hey was this video taken at Chessington Equestrian Centre?
are the names in the description in order of appearance?
Almost everyone's legs were moving about, and the riders don't go into any sort of jump position. Their toes are down over the jump, so they are pitched forward. Also, a few of the horses jumped strangely because their heads were being held up to high. It'd be easier for them if given just a bit longer rein.
When the jump gets higher, some riders try to pump their hands to make their horse go faster? That sends mixed signals (sometimes)
that chestnut pair adored jumping 😍😂
Rain is stunning 😍

is one of those girls called bethany hatcher?xx
i loved that it started daylight and ended dark lol. i love the pally (:
Wow all the horses are like wild and freaking out lol
some of the ponies are nuts
Your trainer sounds exactly like my old trainer
two-point before a 3ft+ fence when you dont know if they'll jump it, i dont think so.
is the little white pony sold? because we have a pony that looks the same.
When a person is done with their turn, is the instructor saying 'next' or 'straight'?
Personally u need to do it when it's lighter so they can see better but u all did brill
He's only young & he was in training at that point. He's perfect now :)
The girl with the dark blue helmet had her fingers open so if she fell off she would have broken her finger yes I have done that
good video too bad it wasnt longer. My friends and I do cmec too
The palomino horse looks like it has a nice jump
Fantastic horses though so honezt
Ok the last horse and jump they did in the video people were like literally screaming lol
@missverycherry23 is this lara?? the shaiis lol -3 xxxx
fairly flightly horses and ponies for a riding school :o but i love them :) palamino and chestnuts were the nicest :)
The gray is quite the little pinger!
The paint looks like Murphy!
Good job! Try to keep your legs still and it will improve your riding skills a lot!! 😁😁
the palomino was the nicest and the way she rode it :)
The palomino looks gorgeous! What's he/she called?
he, Brin x
Yeah! he's called Brin. :)

OneOfAKind1295 did lukes pony Echo get sold, cause he moves and looks so much like my pony who my nan bought for me about 1-2 years ago and he is also called Echo.
