Just to clarify Australia already operates C130J and no earlier models. Video forgot to mention the eight C17s when discussing existing heavy airlift capability but mentioned C27 which were bought for battlefield airlift. No indication if current C130Js will be kept. Poor video. Not even sure if I believe they have ordered another 24 C130Js but at least it’s a heads up to look into it.

Good Score USA Military Complex - you just sold a load of shit to someone who doesn't need it.
And both sides are laughing - it's Sad - the AU think they're climbing up the nuclear ladder - best put a kangaroo in leadership they at least don't need to hold hands to defend themselves.

Climbing up the nuclear ladder? It’s a nuclear threshold state. If it wanted them it could have them. Australia had a huge part in the development of them. The US and the UK were going to give them nuclear weapons but Australia changed its mind.
The C-130s have been used by Australia for decades and their current fleet needs replacing. It’s cheaper and more efficient for them to stick with a plane that’s been tested on their terrain. Big country that needs to transport cargo as well offering aid in the pacific where the runways are very short
