This is PTX original. Their originals are all incredible! Every single song on 'The Lucky Ones (Deluxe)' album is super catchy, and creatively arranged.
Matt did a few of the effects as well. He's a decent beat boxer. On their Christmas tour last year he did the beat boxing for Kevin during one part while Kevin was singing. It was for the song "Joyful, Joyful". Check it out. It's live and from their Evergreen tour.
👏 A PENTATONIX original. Scott penned this song about his boyfriend Mark bringing him coffee in bed in the mornings, especially when Scott gets a bit overwhelmed by his daily schedule. The lyrics says a lot about that. Another AMAZING original is Love Me When I Don't written by Kirstie...
In an interview on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Scott talked about writing the song because Mark would bring him coffee in bed and how he appreciated the kind gesture. The way Scott said it was so cute. Link: ruclips.net/video/sxmEAaHm3xk/видео.html
@@vidsorama2 yeah that was so cute He also did a tik tok about it. Mitch might have colabed with some lyrics and or melody that is why Mitch is listed as credit on the song. Scott just wrote another song for Mark for his birthday (out on tik tok). It sounds good he should release it as a side project💖
This is just over a year old now. You will be happy to hear that Matt said this week that they have been filming and that Mitch has been writing a lot of music. He hinted at some new stuff coming out soon 🤗.
I soooo agree with you! PTX, please keep doing what you do, forever, and ever, and ever! And the thing is, since they always find new and innovative ways to create their music, I feel they could go on for a really long time. Fingers crossed!
You will be thrilled to know that at their 10 year anniversary they had a meeting to make absolutely positive every single one of them were still hyped and wanted to do this and guess what?? They basically made a promise that they will be doing this for sure for the next 10 years. they all can have their side projects, but ptx comes first!!
Original song by PTX. Kevin's beatboxing is unreal with Matt's bass holding down the fort. Not my all time favorite of theirs but even so it's incredible. What they can produce together is just unreal.
Hello D! Isn't this one just great! Loved your reaction as always. This is from their 10th Anniversary Album, The Lucky Ones that came out in mid-2021. All originals on this album to celebrate 10 years after their win on the Sing-Off. Please react to more from this album. Never Gonna Cry Again (bring a box of tissues); Happy Now (bring dancing shoes); Bored (bring a sense of fun); The Lucky Ones (title track); Be My Eyes, A Little Space and Love Me When I Don't. All great songs. After you do that album please check out PTX cover of Queen's "Somebody to Love" that they performed at the Queen Sing Along at the end of last year. More PTX please.
With PTX. along with Home Free & VoicePlay it is very hard to keep it in your mind that there are NO instruments... Its mindboggling, your brain won't let you do it! LOL another great reaction 👍👍👍
I think you thought there were bloopers cause this has distinct Superfruit vibes! I love this song, especially cause I bring my husband coffee in bed often. Lol.
Another great reaction to another amazing performance! Thanks. I, too, hope they continue to collaborate and I hope you continue to give us these heartfelt reactions.
PTX recently performed in Las Vegas for a Joni Mitchell tribute that was part of the pre-Grammy activities but they had to do it without Kevin because it was scheduled on a Friday night and Kevin is a Seventh Day Adventist who can't perform on the Sabbath. They sang with a band instead. I know PTX has been working around Kevin's needs since the beginning but I don't think they have ever just performed without him. Maybe that's part of their "second 10-year plan"?
After their first 10 years, they sat down and discussed a plan for the next 10 years. They haven't shared it. People in their 30s who are having kids can't keep up the same schedule as people in their 20s who aren't. (Kevin has one child; Kirstin has one on the way; and at his wedding, Matt said he wants 6. Sarah, his wife, says 3 is a more likely number.) It remains to be seen how this will all play out. Looking at Kirsten these days, I question whether she should travel from LA to the Bahamas to do a show next week. My grandmother would totally veto it, not that she has a say.
@@lleldridge1 Pregnancy can put pressure on the diaphragm. I don’t know enough about singing to say what in involved with the necessary control of the diaphragm.
This was recorded during the lock down. They did many songs during that time. You really have to see Kirstin's Good Morning Quarantine, HYSTERICAL! here's the link: ruclips.net/video/3O7B0OFpdSw/видео.html

Any wagers on whether or not Kevin's daughter, Kaia, will beatbox before learning to talk.
Every song on that album is an original and fire. This has been out since last year.
Kevin and Matt. My word. ❤️

Scott and Mitch both wrote it
@@nikk5152 Which explains why it feels so much like a Superfruit jam :D

@@Bonofox1 I agree. I love what I've heard of Mark's birthday song. It would be great if Scott released it. He's so talented.
Actually it's Kirstin doing the "synth noises" thru out the song!! 🔥
They are all Sooo talented. ❤️ Love your reactions!
Kirstin
Kevin and Matt are FIRE 🔥 🔥 🔥 on this one. As they are in. New Rules x Are You That Somebody 🔥🔥🔥
Agreed. Matt's base vibrations in this song give me shivers every time
I KNOW RIGHT???!!!! no instruments....just absurdly crazy!! Kevin is a frickin BEAST!
This is maybe a year old or so and an original. #pentafabulous

Seriously? OMG best news ever!
that is awesome news!
This one also shows off Matt's bass pretty good....he and Kevin drive this one right along
Another amazing original is Be my eyes!! Singed by Kirstin!!
The song "Coffee in Bed" came out (off the album: Lucky Ones - their original songs/music) in February of 2021.

Why this did not get any airplay on every pop station in the country I will never understand.
Original song by them...but, even better version is live on Jimmy Kimmel show (easier to see who's doing what !!

I was wondering about that myself but I would think they would have cancelled by now...

I was always told I could do whatever I would normally do since my body was used to it. Nothing new and strenuous.
