- In today's vlog we head to the hospital because it's finally time to meet baby Oliver! We had an early morning, we headed to the hospital around 6 and gave birth to Oliver at 8:31, so it was a very quick birth! We weren't able to show any of the labor or delivery process this time but we did talk about what happened and how the labor and delivery went. Then we head to our hospital room and have a fairly uneventful night. The next day we were sure we would be heading home but Oliver had some troubles during his 24 hour test so he was admitted to the NICU for a few days. It was scary and stressful but everything resolved itself and we were discharged and headed home. It felt so good to be home with Jackson and Tim. Jackson was so excited to have baby brother home, too! We hope you enjoyed being a part of this special time with us! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Jackson meeting Oliver is deriously one of the most adorable, genuine and heartfelt excitement I’ve ever seen… you can literally feel the pure joy through the screen….
As a respiratory therapist that sometimes works in the NICU, I completely understand Oliver being putting on the nasal CPAP. His little lungs just needed an extra boost of air. It happens more than you think. and we are here to help the little ones back to normal. He progressed so well, being the situation mommy and the baby were in. I know it was stressful for you all. But it looks like he is going to be fine. Tim and Jenn, you are such great and caring parents (Jackson is proof) and with Oliver, it will be the same. Congratulations!! I look forward to seeing the videos of him growing up. Again great job!

Totally agree… was just coming back to say pretty much the same thing. It’s a learning curve with Jackson and everything he’s doing is completely normal. Right now everything is just so new to him, but things will settle down soon ❤❤❤

As a NICU nurse let me tell you both you handled that amazingly well. It’s in no one’s birth plan to have to go into the NICU and be on CPAP and see IVs coming out of their little hands or feet or scalp. So glad it wasn’t a serious issue and you were home quickly. Congratulations to you all!
And also, I hear those feeding pump and IV pump alarms in my sleep. 😂
As Jackson and Oliver get older, they'll always have this video to look back on of their first meeting. That's a really special memory that you've made for them. Jackson will learn and he'll continue to be a great brother. You guys have always and will always figure it out. Congratulations 💕🎉
Congratulations! Jenn, my heart broke for you, when you had to be in theNICU with you a little little boy. You look so exhausted. I was crying for you. I am a mom of three sons. There is almost 4 years between number one and two. It’s gonna take time for Jackson to get used to Oliver. Don’t sweat it , don’t worry about it it will all work itself out. Jackson will learned so much from having a sibling,how to wait your turn, how to share, and realizing that sometimes things are not about you, but someone else? And isn’t that what we all need to know as human beings. That the world does not revolve around us. But more importantly, he will always have a friend, and he will learn a deeper meaning of love! I wish your family nothing but happiness. Enjoy your new life, as parents of two children. Boy Power! 💙💙

Congratulations Tracker family!! My third daughter was born one hour after my first contraction. I was dilated 9 cm upon arrival, and the nurse delivered her a half hour after we got to the hospital. The doctor arrived 5 minutes later! No epidural-not with my first 2 either. Now a new journey begins for all of you!!! 🥰❤️
'Gentle caresses" is the term we used with new babies in the house. So happy your family of 4 is all home! Take your time to settle in and Jenn, don't forget: when the baby sleeps, you should sleep!

My lil man was in Nicu for a week. It was stressful. I was Fully Dialated and lil man refused to come out. He was an Emergency c section.
I got my son a best brother trophy from his sister. It came in handy when he was a little upset with her and we would remind him how much she loved him. It really stopped the jealousy. I’m so glad everyone is healthy and home; I know how nerve-wracking it can be. My daughter lost too much weight and had to stay longer in the hospital and get house visits from the nurse,

Congratulations! Absolute adorable baby Oliver! Jackson’s enthusiasm was so fun to watch! It will just take a bit of time for him to get use to sharing your attention. He will calm down and be able to enjoy baby time. It’s all new and exciting and he’s probably unsure of what he can do with Oliver. Just keep reassuring him that he is loved and he will be a great helper. I have four children very close in age. It will all work out!❤

I was an unexpected nicu mama and it was the hardest thing ever. I was so underprepared for my baby being there as well as mentally being there. We were in for two weeks which is nothing to some families but was a lot for me. I’m so glad you’re home with your healthy baby boy!!! 🤍

First things first: you guys are so strong, being in the NICU can be so hard... our son was in the NICU for four weeks and it was very tough. I was not prepared for the emotions just the noises of the NICU brought back. Second: Oliver is so cute 😍 and Jacksons reaction is adorable 😍 Congratulations!
Yes! Two of mine were NICU babies. It can be VERY stressful, especially with a little one at home. Honestly, just watching that part of the video brought back some of the anxiety I felt back then.

I'm writing to you on my husbands account and my heart is just bursting seeing Jackson's reaction to baby Oliver. You guys are amazing sharing your story. My daughter was born 6 weeks early and things happen so quickly that it can be very overwhelming. She turns 18 today but I can remember every moment when she was born. As a former pre-school teacher, Jackson's feelings of not knowing what to do is just him going through this new transition. You two are amazing parents and you will all work though this time just beautifully. A couple of things I could suggest is just giving him some reassuring one on one time and modeling for him how he can be with baby Oliver. Also, enlist him in helping you such as age appropriate ways he can help you with diapering and feeding. Sending so much love and light to you all, Kimberley

I’ve been looking forward to this update! Big congrats to you all. We have a 5 yr old and 7 month old. Big brother is just now settling into his role… it’s so hard for them and I wasn’t prepared for that. Things that have helped him transition is more exclusive 1 on 1 time, lots of supervised safe and gentle play so he can learn what he can do to love on her and little surprises that come in the mail just for him, often from his little sister. Best to you as you navigate this hard and happy time. 🌹

Congratulations! I know how hard it is to have your newborn in the NICU and I'm sorry you had to go through that. My son spent his first 7 days there and it was terrifying and the worst week of my life. I'm so glad that you got to stay with him in the NICU. We had to leave our son there and go home every night. Leaving the hospital without my baby was the hardest thing I've ever done. On the plus side - He just turned 19!

Jen and Tim - you both were so calm throughout this whole thing. So glad Oliver is doing well! Jackson is absolutely adorable with his new baby brother. In terms of advice.....I like your idea of doing something special with him. That is great. I would just give him and yourselves a lot of grace to get adjusted over the next few days. Maybe you could make a routine with Jackson that he could do something with his little brother that he would be "in charge of" like, reading him a book, picking out an outfit, bringing wipes/diaper to you to help. Somehow think of ways to involve him and make a big deal out of his help and how he is being a great big brother.

Awe! I had my second in December and went through the same experience with little guys breathing. We were in the NICU for 6 days and it was the SCARIEST moments of our lives, but those last 2 days there made me appreciate life so much more. To see them go from bad to amazing is just.. can't put into words! I am so glad he is home and you all are doing well.

Congratulations 🎉 when you bring a new baby home for the existing child it's like if you brought a third person into your marriage and say "hey, they're gonna share everything, that's OK isn't it" just try to include him as much as possible and give everyone time to adjust, it will happen, you guys are so good at explaining stuff to Jackson, keep it simple and don't over complicate it ❤

When my brother was born, my mom gave me a present from my little brother to help with the transition and relationship building. She swears it was one of the best things she did to ease me into the transition of being an older sibling
Congratulations on officially becoming a family of 4. Welcome to the world, little Oliver! Love his name. That was a rollercoaster for sure for you all. So happy he is okay. Jackson will have a lot of different emotions and reactions that may be out of the norm for him. Do your best to let him help with what he can, maybe helping to bathe and dress Oliver. Take time for you and Tim taking turns to spend time doing what you normally would do with Jackson. And, he will come to see that although his world has changed, but not everything is different and he is still loved and important. My daughter was 2 when her sister was born and there was love and jealousy. You are such wonderful parents, that I think you will organically know how to work through it all the best you can. What an exciting time for you all!
Congrats again & welcome to the world baby Oliver! My 2 boys are 16 & 13 now. It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital giving birth. It goes by so fast! Enjoy those little baby snuggles, next thing you know, you'll be teaching them to drive 🚗

My firstborn had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for similar reasons and ended up on oxygen his first month. No matter how long your NICU stay is, it's a stressful, emotionally draining time. My heart goes out to you and I'm so glad Oliver was able to go home quickly. ❤

Congratulations Tracker family! Jackson's excitement when he met Oliver made my day. There was so much love there. Big siblings always need an adjustment period. His whole world has now changed. Mom and Dad have to split their attention. He can't always do what he is used to doing. It's a huge change. The nice thing is kids usually adjust easily. Get him back on a good schedule and that will help. I'm so happy for your whole family. Oliver is a little cutie.
This is super exciting sharing this journey with you. I mean Disney is great, but this is real life.
