Hi I was wondering where you were. I live in boone NC and I have been looking for a place to hike in and camp near the river. If you could also let me know what the policy on fires is that would be Nice
The title of the video is the name of the area I was exploring, Linville gorge. It is a portion of pisgah national forest, approximately 40 miles south of boone. The trail I took is called babel tower trail, and if you email me, I can provide you with a map of that area, and the gps coordinates of the campsite I stayed at TRUAUTOREPAIR000@gmail.com
Audistyle Caught a 27 in. brown in that same stretch of river 28 years ago.Have fished almost every piece of running water in that area.Health don't let me get down in the gorge anymore, actually not able to fish much at all. Thanks for the vid, brought back nice memories. God bless you and yours.
Audistyle Think about those creek chubs you were catching, bait fish, big browns love em.Big,deep holes, not easily accessible, ideal conditions for above average browns.Believe me,there are some big fish in there.Getting a fly down to em is the trick.Tuck cast with the necessary amount of weight.
Wet your hands before handling trout please
What’s the reg on barbed hooks?
@@Scottie_B dildos are not allowed as bait
Hey man, do you have the coordinates of the campsite you stayed at?
Do you used braided fishing line as a tippet?
You need to mash your barb when you’re fishing for wild fish man….

Ya good tip. I bet if I got in with gear more targeted to those big boys, I'd have no issues with em. A lot of those holes are 20' deep..
