Fun Fact: It took me two hours to make this, all because I got inspired.
I loved making this from the beginning to the end! mihoi bihoi's original rendition of the mashup was great, but I felt there was a lot to be desired, so I made my own version of the mashup! Many thanks to him for the inspiration it gave me to make this!

I love how it goes back and forth, like an actual fight. The Devourer of Gods at the end of the fight is desperate and tries to yell over the player, its similar with this how DoGs music is trying to drown out Sams.

I mean it's clear that Sam got sever upgrades in the cruel world, cause his blade is post Yharon. I imagine after reincarnating he learned magc and what not, infused his blade with the power of the world, and reinstated the lock before dying to the devourer. So that only one with the power of the dark sun could wield it.

@@mihoimiboi3984 Oh, damn, I didn't expect to see you here! I really appreciate the praise, and I can see why the vocals on loop the whole way through would send a man loopy. It's a shame how little the lyrics are: One verse, one chorus, and one bridge. You really have to make do with what you have, and there's a fine line between the song being too empty and the song being overloaded with lyrics.
Right now, I'm not doing many mashups, since I've got school, and I also want to create original content, which I may post on this channel if I think it's really good. In any case, I appreciate it!

@@vreikezen8268 MuraMASA is Japanese sword that actually exists, whoever MuraSAMA is not a real sword, it's from metal gear rising and Japanese people use Sama when talking to someone higher priority.

this is probably my favorite mix ive heard so far. I love that you actually mixed the lyrics around instead of just speeding up or slowing them down and basically just overlapping the songs!
Thanks! I knew for a fact that it wouldn't feel right if I sped them up or slow them down too much, so I needed to keep the vocals at the tempo of the instrumental and play around with the sections we got from TOTIKFR. I took a bit of inspiration from Mihoi Miboi, since he did it first. I believe I am the first to cover the whole non-stop mix.

It turned out great, although at some points it’s hard to hear the words
I figured someone would say that sooner or later. Sometimes it's either too loud or too quiet and it's difficult to reach a sweet spot sometimes. Didn't help that I was in a energy rush to get it out.
@@faiIsafe I think it's about the feeling in which you cease to understand what is epic and what is not. I remember doing this before, and with every change, thoughts like “WOW THIS IS SO COOL” and so on. However, later I began to notice all the shortcomings.

When increasing the pitch with most audio programs such as Audacity, it also increases the formant, making the vocals sound slightly more chipmunky. You're right, it's weird, and I personally don't like it, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

This is great and all, but a little more jet stream Sam would be appreciated, the mihoi miboi version didn’t have much Sam as is, and this version makes it even less. Still sounds beautiful because DoG is an insane theme that is hard to make sound bad. In particular one little gripe, please stop leaving the “blood” by itself, *always* add the “shed” to it otherwise it feels like an unfinished sentence.

Leaving the "blood" by itself is an intentional choice to keep you on your toes. It's also a nod to the Murasama tooltip within Calamity itself, since the tooltip only ever says "There will be blood!"
Trying to place the lyrics in places that fit, while also not making them the whole focus, was also intentional. I don't get a lot of room to work with, since Sam's theme only consists on one verse, one chorus, and a bridge that leads directly into the coda of the song. I have to spice things up by trying to splice audio clips and placing filters on them so they don't sound like it just cuts out.
Basically, adding any more Sam into the song would make it lose the weight it has already. I also feel adding any more than I have done will make it feel... Forced? I'm not sure how to describe it.

Fun Fact: This fight is probably canon to calamity.
Yeah, the muramasa which is found in hell is explicitly stated to be from another reality and was there for Draedon to study, with the one draedon weapon being a prototype based on it.
So, basically Sam reincarnated in a cruel world after Jack killed him, and through learning the powers of mysticism the dark sun and otherwise. Became strong enough to battle on the same level as gods and the Tyrant himself, before probably falling to the Devourer in an epic final clash. Using the last of his strength to instate the seal of the dark sun on the blade requiring one who can defeat Yahron to be able to weild it.

In Calamity you can find Sam's blade in the hell lab, and it is noted to be from another reality, not the cruel world, implying it really is Sam's. Meaning when Jack killed him, he got reincarnated into the cruel world, and If you want to know how this fight really played out, then it's really quite simple.
Create a new hardcore character, name him Samuiel Rodregias(I spelt that wrong), or Jetstream sam, and give him the Muramasa.
Create a new world and set it to revengence, (Not death, Revengence because MGR's called Metal Gear rising *revengence* dude not *death* .)
And we'll let fate decide.
