Hey Dave... Gruesome Gulch has put a spell on me...I ain't lyin'. You have scary good skills. GG is full of spooky, eerie, ghostly 👻 delights. You bury the competition...no bones about it. Please don't ever lay it to rest, that would be a terrible trick to play on this ghoul...uh...I mean girl.
The Haunted Hoedown is an amazing combination of old time practical effects and modern electronic sound and lighting. Absolutely magical. It’s disappointing that the Riverside showing was canceled. But…….now you can put it to rest for a while. And finish it up in the last summer months. And ready it up for Halloween. Thanks for the whole GG series. Super entertaining and enjoyable.
I see you've been saving the best parts for last, that haunted hoedown effect was the greatest thing ever. I get so much joy out of this channel, thanks for all you do!
Amazing as always -- such a cool result. The entire Gruesome Gulch project has been such an inspiration and opened my mind to the creative possibilities in the hobby. Thank you Dave!
I love your entire layout especially the ghostly water & town. Hotel Transylvania mini amusement park train I love all that would be a perfect funeral casket train for a Hotel Transylvania movie.
I don’t know if you planned this, or not, but the ghosts going from the undertaker’s was an interesting touch! It would have been fun to have some go into the saloon, and sheriff standing in front of his office. I realize you are working in a very tight space, however, but I think it would have been fun. Great job as always, looking forward to more Gruesome Gulch, and other Thunder Mesa projects!
John and Dave, An interesting idea! How about one of the extra skeletons, dressed in torn, tattered, & rotting clothes. Leaning against the Sheriff Office. With a Copper Patina and Rusty badge placed behind the Pepper's Ghost screen. And to take this bad actor to the sublime, using an under track magnetic trigger, have a servo and piano wire lift the skeleton's arm to wave at the passing train.
Have been with you from the beginning in the GGRR, and have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. Have you thought about taking it to Denver for the Narrow Gauge convention in late August early September?
Hi Dave , great layout mate , have you thought about bring it out to sunny Queensland Australia, be glad to see it in all its haunting greatness 😱😱😱😱😱have a good one
The layout is looking awesome. So much inspirtion is coming out of this build. Sorry to hear about the cancelltion of the show but glad Grusome Culch will be around little longer. Will be fun to see other projects you are workimg on too. See you next time till then have fun. GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖
*smirks* as a teensy homage to the florida one, you should put a tiny crack in the corner of the plexglass. ;) Too on the nose? LOVE everything about this layout sir.
It looks like you might need to raise the haunted city slightly. it would look more like they were coming out of the undertakers and into the dance hall with just a tiny bit more height there
Beautiful work... I am most impressed with your work and the fact that Disney hasn't approached you to work for them.. I have only one suggestion... at 26:00 you show the effects of your work... I think the turntable needs to be adjusted so that your ghosts appear to exit the Undertakers pace and enter the Dance Hall...
I'm sorry the Riverside Show was canceled. I'm on the wrong coast anyway. Love all the series you run. I always look forward to your next installment, no matter the project. Your creativity is inspiring! More motive power and rolling stock, I'm hooked!
I've never really seen the two themes of Old Western and spooky Halloween together and Dave, I think you nailed it! Thank you for sharing this epic project with everyone.
Knoebles amusement park in PA does an old west themed train ride at halloween....no where near as cool as this model.... but its still pretty neat to see skeleton train robbers and miners in the woods from a tiny park train😉👍
You just need a spider web on that piece of plexiglass😂
Someone needs to put a bullet hole in it first
Claude Coats, Marc Davis, and Harper Goff would be proud! Wed enterprises need you!
Underrated comment right here. My heros! Methinks We should add Mr Meeks to this little list as well to be honest. this has been a magical journey!
Dave....you should talk to Chris Lane about displaying this at the narrow gauge convention in Late August
Agree:)...

I met Jim Wells at the NMRA convention in Milwaukee.
He is smart and very much a gentleman.
And you are right he makes very cleaver sounds.
Thanks Dave, this series has been wonderful escapism for myself, and look forward to your next project!

It’s been a pleasure watching this series, Dave. What a great ‘season finale’. Can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
OK...I want this to become a 1/1 scale ride.....a cross of NWRR and HM rides!!! Or I need to shrink to 1/48 scale!!!! Cool stuff as always.
It’s been a fabulous ride watching you create this masterpiece Dave. Haven’t missed any of the episodes and always look forward to what’s next.

This is turning out to be the most epic small layout ever🤓 Dave, your skills are amazing. I just may have to bid on this when the time comes 😎
*smirks* as a teensy homage to the florida one, you should put a tiny crack in the corner of the plexglass. ;) Too on the nose? LOVE everything about this layout sir.

Absolutely incredible, Dave. Great job.
Wonderful effect with the haunted cavern. You make it all look so easy, as always it's a pleasure to watch.
Another great build I have to ask. Where did you get those heavy duty wire strippers that are black and red?
Absolutely gorgeous. Great job Hernandez
I'm going to be so sad when this series is over 😩 it's my favorite on RUclips 😔 okay, now for the rest of video.
Ahhh yay!!!! More GG projects! 🥳🍾🎉💃
