  • This little video was made to show my kids and friends how to film and edit a video. This was shot on a Canon 60D using a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 lense. It was edited using Lightworks 12.6. Lighting and exposure proved challenging as we were trying to film over several evenings as the sun was setting (as that was a convenient time for us). So a bit of work had to be done in equalising the exposure, as well as balancing the colour. This was graded using the simple default LUT in lightworks.
Much thanks goes to Jordan, Alysha, Scott and Tanya for being a great crew and wonderful students.
All sounds were created from scratch, including the sound effects and the soundtracks. Thanks to Alysha who was playing the piano for the backing tracks, and her mother for doing the duet piece with her at the end.

An Oscar winner if I ever saw one! Tension building, special effects, a prickly situation, a hero with a close call rescued by a fair damsel and a surprise ending. And what can I say about the score! I can't wait for the sequel, "the Revenge of the Puller Bears"

I have been in that situation - unfortunately it didn't end that well (for the gorse that is, har har :>)!
