There’d be no KK’s Priest without the original Priest. The original band in its prime will never be surpassed . Having said that, this a killer rendition of a classic. Well done.👊🏻👍🏻
You could argue, that there would have been no Priest without KK. He wanted to play in Atkins band Judas Priest. They disband though so Atkins joined KKs band which they then renamed to Judas Priest again. So without KK there would have been no Priest. KK and Ian were the original founding members of Priest.
KK, he’s insanely talented, this is amazingly better I’m sorry to say, a tear in my eyes doing that, I listened to Judas sense 1976, always loved them! My favorite band, but this kicks my brain/ it’s so fu-ing good ❤❤❤
I mean, it bums me out that KK is not in JP but nice to see he still delivers the goods. Classic KK solo reworked for today. Looks like a solid crowd too. Good for them.
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
My very first (major) Judas Priest concert was during my early teenage rockin' years in the S.F. Bay area. Up front center stage. Day on the Green in Oakland, Ca. July 23rd of ''77, opening for Led Zeppelin. Had purchased "Sin After Sin" officially released, couple months prior to their debut Bay Area gig. Nobody up in the front stage area even knew who they were. Many had perplexed reactions as I was rockin' out. This version "46 fuckin' years later," rocks beyond the heavy metal gods. Right on, KK! Keep it real. Your band rocks!
Les Binks drumming on this track, has never been matched IMHO. This is a decent rendition by KK's lads, but me thinks the live Unleashed version is still the best ✌
KK is the soul of Priest. He gives it that warmth, presence, and quality that can't be duplicated. Ripper is the only guy ever good enough to replace Halford.
I'm a longtime fan of JP, and I actually was the bassist of a bar band that Scott Travis played in, called Hooker. We used to play full sets of Priest at the bars in Norfolk, Va. Scott was hands down the best drummer I've ever played with, or seen. But I have to say, it doesn't seem like they're heart is in it anymore. I know personell changes are hard on bands, and no body seems to sound as good as the original members. Nostalgia perhaps? I'll say this... Scott, man you still got it, my friend. Lost touch with you for the last 28 years, but "Frank Perdue" says hi.
Que bien que está tocando KK. Me sorprendió la agilidad que sigue manteniendo. Se nota que tiene mucho entretenimiento aun!! Un maestro! Y la banda tambien suena tremenda. Ni hablar de Tim! 🎉❤
Tim aún mantiene un tremendo nivel. es admirable. Por ahí vi una entrevista donde decía que cuida su alimentación, descanso y actividad física. Que venga a CHILE !!!!!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
KK's Priest and JP should join forces and do a last hurrah stadium tour with 10 shows per continent and a 4 hour set. Get all the original members back that are still alive. I would pay $500 for that.
I'm 60 have been listening to Judas Priest since 1974 but now that I'm older don't mean shit. I still listen to them. I agree, this band kills it.
Right behind ya! 58 here. 🤘 Can't wait for the new Priest album this March also!
Rob Halfords band Judas Priest isn't not more.
kK Priest sounds better
When nature calleth" thou shall not stalleth, but yeah worst time tho?!
What is it with people stating their age? I'm 67 so what?!
@@vanzandt8809 I state my age to show that I still listen to metal. What's your problem.
At 71 years old, Ken still has it...
Damn right!! 🤘
72
Ripper was always a monster!!! He has always been an exceptional singer and now his voice is even stronger. Sensational.

The performance and the recording of it is awesome. One of my favorite songs from the Judas Priest 1970s era.
Good lord! This is awesome.
Great tune. Great album. Great ENERGY!
I mean, it bums me out that KK is not in JP but nice to see he still delivers the goods. Classic KK solo reworked for today. Looks like a solid crowd too. Good for them.
The K.K.'s Priest band is ground breaking and absolute top notch!

OH MY! That's unbelievable!
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
Man, this is incredible!
Gotta admit that was very impressive
KK plays it correctly like the recording .
Stellar performance 🤘
AWESOME version - Ripper nails it and then some, terrific! \m/
Brilliant.
I really need to see these guys live. KK is amazing, especially for his age. Ripper is sounding incredibly great, he fkn killed it.

I was at that concert also, it was my first concert. Rob Halford had long hair wearing a pink shirt. Judas Priest looked different in 1977.
Wow! A classic which the OG Priest hasn't performed live in ages. A true vocal workout! And Tim delivers here!
❤❤ no trickery here. Backing vocals. Backing tracks. Purely METAL. The way it should be..✌👊
a slight delay on vocals which EVERYONE uses! They sound absolutely AWESOME!!!!

KK is still KILLING IT!!!
Ripper on point.
Kk has been vindicated'and his band members love him this gives me the chills
This band is in better shape than the original Priest. KK rules.
KK has the base way forward in the sound in this band, both on the record and live. I love it.
KK’s Priest is So much better than the other. I will go to see this band.
KK is the soul of Priest. He gives it that warmth, presence, and quality that can't be duplicated. Ripper is the only guy ever good enough to replace Halford.
Is that Tim Owens?
So true about KK
@@cheesebutt1000 no, Demi Lovato!
Yes it sure is! Such a powerful voice.@@cheesebutt1000
You should look into Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear. Listen to their metal gods cover.
KK Fukin rules. Let him back in!!!
It seems with this band there is a new president on no age limits❤🎉😊 on still remain ing super cool!🎂🎁🎈

Great stuff! What a time to take a call of nature tho!
Ripper always delivering the goods
That sounds great, love that lead in guitar part
Tipton did all the really hard stuff back in the day... But KK is seriously kicking butt .... or should that be f##king butt.....😉
dang, ripper KILLS IT!!!
Indeed, what a fuckin monster!!
Sadly he’s one of the biggest assholes.
This is what metal should sound like !!
oooh ! /,,/ !
Simply badass! If id have heard this on the radio instead of seeing it here I'd have sworn it was Judas Priest. 🤘😁
Que bien que está tocando KK. Me sorprendió la agilidad que sigue manteniendo. Se nota que tiene mucho entretenimiento aun!! Un maestro! Y la banda tambien suena tremenda. Ni hablar de Tim! 🎉❤

KK 👍😎🤘🎸

That would be awesome- they could do some of the Owens-era songs that Halford won’t sing. Bring Glenn out, and kick some metal booty…
They could have Original singer AL Atkins duet on this and Whiskey Woman!
GREAT!!!
Ripper is a ****ing beast! Hopefully KK keeps this band going!
Wonderfull!🤘
Holy crap this is pretty much up there with the RH versions
RIPPER OWENS MAMMA MIA.
