    The stone you work with must be hard as hell; I work with obsidian, and I flinch every time you swing for the fences to knock a big flake off.

      Good question! I feel like I get them thin enough with direct, and I like the flake scars better

      Nothing but soft hides. just use your hands....puts a luster on the biface.
