With the years, personality and production values, I don't understand why you don't have over a million subs. If more people could see some of the videos you've done of the years they would be hooked.
No Ferrari is cheap. In fact, the 430 Challenge is actually quite affordable comparatively. Stradman bought one for only $US90,000, which is a similar price to the standard F430.
@@mo-hammadabunaser1367 If you're a casual track driver, then you're in for about 10-15k per year in maintenance costs. If you're doing it competitively, sponsorship offsets maintenance costs altogether.
The Green Caterham that passed on your left while the GT Cup's were passing on your right was a muppet, he had to know your focus would be on not bumping the Cup cars, perfect way to cause an accident.
Really liked when you kept your wrecked confidence in the video instead of pretending to be a hero. Makes this so much personal and credible. Great footage !!!!
Many years ago I discovered the most motoring fun happens when you’re driving at your personal limit which is within the vehicles limit, this happened for you in this video, Happy Motoring and thanks for your videos😀
That was fun! I like that you are humble about your abilities in certain situations. Very refreshing. Looking forward to the history of the architect and footage of that beautiful home!!!
No worries man. Ive been there on a trackday with a new car and an unfamiliar track before, and once with a track I know, but me in a street car with a bunch of fully prepped race cars passing all over. Not fun having to balance focusing on your line while staring in your mirrors. Still looks like you got some great laps in.
Nothing like jumping in at the deep end Sam! Race cars have to be driven hard to work and if you're out of practice driving anything on track, that's not going to be easy. I'm impressed you knew the line, i'd have gotten completely lost
0:24 is that an original DJR (Dick Johnson Racing) Ford Sierra RS Cosworth original driven by Gregg Hansford (RIP) all the way from Australia. this car raced in the late 1980s, cheers, Garry from Downunder
Very realistic portrayal of what it's like to drive someone else's car on track. While you want to push to maximize your experience, the fact that it isn't yours always nags at you and limits your willingness to stretch the car. Good fun!
Brilliant Sam well done! That looked so intense - especially with all the traffic! I need to go and do one myself - but you extremely well considering it wasn’t your car and first time taking it out! Immense content as usual!
Normally you don't need to worry too much about other cars as long as (1) you keep your line and (2) the other drivers are experienced enough. But hey, easier said than done ;-) Excellent video. I have never driven car on slicks but it undoubtedly makes a *massive* difference!
I'm normally passenger in a Discovery 1 which I thought was noisy, but I got in a Lightweight the other day and it sounds like you are in a washing machine full of ball bearings, falling off a cliff.
I know how you feel in traffic and then it’s difficult to get back up to speed and you end up always off line or feeling really slow and it snowballs until you end up shattering your own confidence. Has happened to me plenty!
Top work STG, best to ease yourself in gently and do what you are comfortable with. YFood is indeed a great resource for 'bikers and car guys alike that avoids the lethargic side effects that can be brought on by some fast foods. Would like to see YFood easily available in UK petrol filling stations and supermarkets. Thanks to Myles for offering the car to make the content.
This is probably the best sounding and driving experience you can make in teh track ! I would really like to have teh money to buy a 360 Challenge or a 430 Scuderia to make it like the GT3 version
Good morning. Great show as usual. I did a NOVICE track day at Brands Hatch a couple of years ago - I think that I must’ve been the only novice there! The track was full of vastly more experienced drivers than me. One of the participants told me that part of his day job was giving hot laps around Donington (I think), so I think that I’ll stick to being a ‘motorist’ not a racing driver. PS: Did I see you walking past Willesborough Tesco last week? I was too starstruck to say hello 🥴.
Back to the amazing content as always we all love the ferrari content where ur the most happiest . Got love Tony give u the pat on shoulder say get back to it.
I am gonna say it, Your friends with Archie Hamilton why don't you collab on getting yourself a racing license or a the very least quick on track. You are in these fantastic cars so much it's only right you learn how to drive them properly and enhance your abilities behind the wheel. I would honestly love to see it and it would allow you to be able to push cars more and experience what only a few people ever get to do.
I totally get your confidence issue. That's how I feel playing Wall Street. The right vehicle, but your mentality isn't up to par just quite yet. Cheers from Silicon Valley, CA!;)
Fair play for being mature enough to know when to call it quits before something goes wrong. Great video as usual
Thanks buddy! I couldnt afford the repair bill if something did go wrong ha
I was going to write almost exactly the same thing. It takes a strong person to admit that he's over his head. Good show, Sam
"F*cking Caterhams“ - MrJWW would like to know your location 😂
Haha he was probably driving one! (Jokes)
Once again you never disappoint with your content. Such a loveable character Sam ❤️👍
I heard Sam also loves Findus Crispy Pancakes, which in my option, is a top notch snack. What a guy
Thank you so much!
Very true.... I've always loved the true enjoyment sam gets from a car makes me smile
@@seenthroughglass no worries mr sex
Kudos to Miles for actually landing you the car for as long as he did... what a legend.
Absolute hero!
Motoring journalists releasing a tidal wave of 992 GT3 videos, but Sam being Sam releases a Ferrari GT3 video instead. Typical
Those white accents on the front bumper make it look so good
Agreed! Very Ferrari F1 2007/2008 in my opinion
@@seenthroughglass Reminds a bit of your F Type.
Even the titles in Sam's videos are likable... its not "I DROVE A FERRARI RACECAR"... pure class

This is epic Sam, well done mate!
Thanks buddy!
Your video quality is just outstanding! The effort you put into each and every single video just outshines the rest! Bravo Sam 👏👏
Wow, thank you!
Dude that must have been quite intimidating, these Ferraris are not cheap lol
No Ferrari is cheap. In fact, the 430 Challenge is actually quite affordable comparatively. Stradman bought one for only $US90,000, which is a similar price to the standard F430.
Coming from the GTO 250 SWB this is child’s play
@@keynesianeconomics4113 it's cheap to buy but definitely not cheap to run on track, pay for tyres, track insurance, regular maintenance etc

Amazing content Sam! Keep up the hard work! Took my first trip to caffeine and machine yesterday which was awesome!
Great to hear! Thanks for the support
As always the greatest content on RUclips and Sam is the most genuine personality on RUclips

Epic video Sam. I appreciate that you show that it’s fun on a track day. But it’s also really demanding.
Thanks dude

Literally had major nostalgia of playing Ferrari Challenge when I was younger on my Nintendo DS Lite.... the F430 Challenge car was... ❤️

Mate epic video. Want to see more of this track stuff! Felt the stress through the screen!
I was gutted the Stradman sold his. I love this channel because Sam and I share the same passion for Ferrari.

Good to see the comments section free of track day ‘experts’ slagging you off. STG viewers are a classy bunch. 👍👍
Sam totally agree with you taking back to the pits because of the heavy traffic.
This is the best automotive track footage I've seen. Being able to see you and the track was super cool and engaging!
Great content Sam! Keep up the good work!
track days r crazy exciting but also get the nerves goin ! great work Sam !

Love the honesty Sam. I can't even imagine what it's like on track in a strange car with cars on your rear bumper at 100+mph 😂
Your videos excite me so much, I wish u were uploading more, I guess I should wait for Sunday 🙌🏽
"they race me so hard!"
The stripe looks simple but really spot on.👍👍
Fun Sam, thank you! Great to see you on location aswell. Possibly 'A UK RUclipsrs Track Day' inbound for the Autumn 😁
What an experience! Wise decision to give yourself space with the other traffic on track! Great video as always!
