HI, the reason your staff were not paid when Jolly went on strike was you didnt have enough funds, (you had less than £300) you then collected the money from shop/petrol and found him sulking in the staff room, so it all happened quickly. The staff will be paid if you have the funds.
You also asked about the small amounts left in some of the boxes. There is an option under Management/Staff/Assignments that tells them how many items they should stock on a shelf..... I am just experimenting with this now, so cannot be sure it works.... but you may want to have a look at increasing those amounts.
