I was a day one apex player played till season 10, stopped playing, came back season 20 because the perk system intrigued me, got tired of apex again and was thinking of quitting again. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. If they don’t revert this change, I’m resigning apex for good..

I’ve been playing every single season since may 2019 and this is the dumbest decision they’ve made, no one is actually going to be buying this passes, unless they are delusional or maybe content creators but the general audience won’t buy this battle pass well passes.
I saw a comment on the Apex reddit, "they are mangling the teats to squeeze the last drops from this cash cow" or something along those lines. I am admittedly a whale in this game, and I will NOT be paying for the battlepass. This cow has had it. I quit Destiny when they started putting the screws to the players. I'll do the same for Apex. Season zero start or not.
This is the reality of BRs. Starts out as a good experience, but it’s impossible for EA devs to maintain a game without greed getting involved. They’re literally incapable & they’ve shown that over & over again. All you can do is know when to jump ship. And jumping ship on apex as a day 1er hurt. 😔

Respawn need to sign off from ea, it’s not the devs that are making the dicisions it’s ea that doesn’t give them enough money so now they need to make even more money so there just doing less updates and releasing less real heirlooms and skins. I don’t know how they should do it but they gotta get a new publisher.
For years they got away with insane collection event prices and lack of content, its good to see the community as a whole finally leaving negative reviews and trying the new games coming out.

it’s so bad seeing what this game has become, apex was really really great back then, the team seemed like they really loved the game and being innovative with it, now it’s a cash cow for people who still spend on it, in game teasers were so much more fun, quests actually mattered and they cared alot more about the story of the game, this just really sucks

I'm a casual gamer due to time constraint but was normally still showing up to complete battlepass for the rewards and feel included like you said. Next season onward, probably won't even do that.

May not stay with apex but stayed sub’s to this channel and have to say I respect your take and views on this! I’m actually hopeful that in time to come we get two variants of descendants with each one having a PVP balanced version os their character so that we may see some PVP in the first descendant in the future. Probably won’t happen but I’m really enjoying that game and your content on it too.

I used to average 2k kills a season but i only have 200 this season. Barely at level 40 on the battle pass. No way I’m gonna shell out $20 for two battle passes lmao. Still one of the best FPS games out there but EA has always been greedy. Never forget what they did to Battlefront lol.

No, I haven't played Apex in 2 months, didn't even finish the season was just in for the new character which I enjoyed, had some great weeks of gaming until I got bored. I bought the BP with the coins. Now I don't think I will buy any battle pass... Apex is like one of my all time favourite FPS games, I have more hours on Apex than Counter Srike which is the other FPS I had a ton of time on even before Apex released.
Listen Apex has been my go to play game. I don't mind paying for skins on occasion but from the time EA makes you pay for characters that is when i am DONE and deleting the game.
Guess I wasn’t missing anything after all. Dad made me trash my ps4 cause of school drama, completely my fault. Turns out, it’s been a blessing in disguise. I’m better for it.

That being said, this doesnt really effect me per say, but i can say that as bad as the cheaters are and have been, and the give/receive ratio from EA for this game and its faults, i dont see how these changes are worth it for most players, and I'd hate to see the game possibly collapse under its own weigh of unaddressed issues.

I can buy 2-3 indie games, and I got 20-50 hours of gameplay and adrenaline with the same amount of money. if what they care is ppl grinding hours. I stopped at season 11. Sometimes I get back watching content creator playing this game. but for the game itself, I don't think it is worth it anymore.

I JUST bought the battle pass again this season BECAUSE I knew if I worked hard at it. I'd get next season free. I won't be paying for it next season. I'll probably still play though

I can buy 2-3 indie games, and I got 20-50 hours of gameplay and adrenaline with the same amount of money. if what they care is ppl grinding hours. I stopped at season 11. Sometimes I get back watching content creator playing this game. but for the game itself, I don't think it is worth it anymore.

as a formal protest, i uninstalled the game and unfollowed them every platform, unfollowed every content that promotes apex.
Most people earn tokens buy again, want to support the game but just charge 2-3 not 10 people will pay that.
I'm deleting Apex, the new battle pass is the last straw for me.
Fully changing to The Finals, the skins are more cool
I guarantee in a week or so theyll announce that they've listen to the criticism, change the battle pass to something slightly better but still worse than the original battle pass.
