I see Cristina in the early 2000's and it feels like I've known her for a lifetime! Wow, I still can't believe it's been 17 years since I listened to their music for the first time. I remember myself watching Heaven's a Lie and Swamped music videos and thinking: I will never meet them face to face, I will never listen to them LIVE as they're not known enough here in Argentina. I used to dream about it... (I still remember those dreams!). But 4 years later (2010) they announced a South American tour and Argentina was included. I couldn't believe it. I was in shock. From seeing their videoclips and messaging Cristina through MySpace 😂 to see them finally LIVE!!!! It was the biggest dream of my life atm. It became true. I couldn't be more grateful. Then in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2020 I had the chance to share few moments with them all like we were friends. They're the greatest human beings I've ever met in my life. I'm thankful with you guys for making our dreams come true. I love you forever. Hugs from Argentina 🇦🇷

I love how passionate you guys are when you're explaining the thought process behind the music, the lyrics, and the album name. This was great to watch! Edit: Also I have to say that I love both versions of the album so much! It's amazing how you renewed the whole record without taking away from the original.
This was the album that changed my life. I want to thank each and every band member, production engineer, tech and designer for keeping the spirit alive with the masterpiece Comalies evolved into 20 years later!
I'm a coiler since Karmacode and fall in love of the band, I love all albums BUT Comalies is my favourite, it was the soundtrack of my teens and still is my favourite album. I love you guys, thnks for everything 🖤
this album changed my life. I met the band at the time of karmacode and looking at the band's older work I came across comalies, which for me is in the top 10 albums of my life. the best part was seeing the evolution of the gap coil over the years, keeping its essence while bringing more modern elements to the sound. No doubt Gap Coil has aged very well as a band.
Comalies (2002) was the defining album of my adolescence into adulthood. Lacuna Coil has been with me since I first bought that album at 16 and I’m now in my 30s.

Man, 20 years! That's pretty insane. I remember buying the album back in the day and falling in love with the music and ofc being a teen, Christina was a goddess among women to me. 20 plus odd years later both the music and Christina have a special place in my heart. Keep going guys!
I absolutely love comalies. I listen to it and comalies xx at least once a week. It has all the right Melodies and lyrics that make an amazing album. Much love to Lacuna Coil.

Man, I gotta say it's great to see more of Maki's influence behind the scenes here. Cristina and Andrea are usually the spokespeople for the band in interviews so it's really cool to see the whole creative process more. Great how Maki always wants it to be just right! And all the goofy moments too XD

Comalies is a pure perfection in my eyes and does not need remastering. So recording Comalies XX in a completely new way for me was the only option. Soooooo many of your songs gave me goosebumps for months after hearing them and became a soundtrack of my life. Watching this documentary and bringing back those memories gave me goosebumps again. Depeche Mode and Lacuna Coil are my favorite band of all time so also thank you for Enjoy the silence !!! Wishing you all the best and a carrier longer than Rolling Stones !!!

I like XX a lot too. I don't understand the criticism, I don't think Lacuna Coil ever intended it as a direct improvement over the original, instead it's a different take on the same concept.
@@madelaki I agree. I’ve been listening to the old for a while again. Been out of it new music scene so I just found this cd today. Already bought it and listened to it a few times. I love it. Modern take but again I agree it’s not better, just something else. I wish In Flames did the whole album like this for clayman 20th anniversary instead of 4 songs.

Even though I was first introduced to your band with the song "Our Truth" which really hooked me, what made me a huge fan was Comalies and how different it was and how it was similar in a way to Evanescence which was/is still one of my favorite bands at the time. You guys have inspired me since the mid 2000s, helping me establish who I am as a writer and as a person. Even the older albums before Comalies, I find to be very inspiring especially Unleashed Memories, which is probably one of my favorite albums of yours. I love to see how you grow as a band and produce such amazing songs that just gets me super excited to write and to enjoy life. So thank you so much for everything you've done and I'm so glad you are still creating music. Comalies and Comalies XX are amazing albums that I will cherish always.

I went to college from 2006-2009 and you we’re playing at the university of Calgary in Alberta and you were selling tickets at the door for $25 canadian back then and me and my buddies were too worried about getting girls back then and we went into the university bar instead of going to your show. I regret that all the time now that I have discovered you and I absolutely love your music. I was a dumb teenager at the time haha

I remember the INSTANT I became a fan of Lacuna Coil. First time I played through Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, at the end credits, I got hit with Swamped. I say "hit", because that was the effect Cristina's voice had on me. It still has that effect on me, almost 20 years later.
My wife's first concert, was Lacuna Coil, Megadeth, and Rob Zambie in 2014. I told her she is playing the version of A Tout Le Monde Cristina did with Megadeth at my funeral.

I met them at the Electric factory Mini mini years ago, they were amazing. They were wonderful people getting to meet them in real life and their music is amazing. Mi sono innamorato dello stile.
Il cantante canta con una voce chiara, ma senza esagerare e riesce anche a navigare un po' con un tono più normale, ha una bella voce.
Il batterista ha molta energia, proprio come il bassista, ha una sensazione pesante.
Il chitarrista è un genio.
La cantante, oltre ad avere una voce angelica e molto intonata, è meravigliosa.
La band ha molto successo, geni.
