As a family who has several of your breedings, we can vouch for the fact they are worth every penny. All but one has been a pocket goat and the one who's not is still very friendly, making it easy for my kids to show. They also have gotten great remarks in the show ring.
I can’t believe the babies are already old enough to go! I’m going to miss their sweet little sounds. I cannot imagine getting rid of the pet goats! They love their mom and their home!! Utah will be beautiful!!
Snow is so striking, I'm surprised you haven't had more interest in her. Knowing your limits is part of being a good owner, and you're one of the best.
Thanks for getting back to me about male goats having a certain smell. I have had horses for over 40 years and all but a few have not been rescued. Our little donkey Bucky is all by himself as we just lost our rescued pony Georgia. My wife wants females and I guess I can see why . But we have always taken animals no one wants and given them a good home until they pass on. If I can find someone who needs to find a home for any size goat male or female we will have a good home for them. I do have one more question do we need to get 2. It can get pretty chilly in Ct, now we have a barn sandlots of wood shavings, grain, and really great 2nd cut hay. I'm just thinking that having 2 they can snuggle together with Bucky. Thanks Ron...
Good morning Claire! Glad to see your video. Your hair is getting long and pretty! You mentioned that you and Jeremy are going hiking. Please be safe, let someone know where you will be hiking, and be aware of your surroundings. I'll be praying for the trip to Utah. I hope as well you find good homes for those goats you are letting go. You are being a responsible owner, and I know you will miss your "kids" (no pun intended 😊). Have a great summer you guys! Love Ya! 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Claire watching you with your animals really shows how much work is involved. But even More important is how much love you have for all of your creatures. We are looking for a pair of females unregistered ( they will become companions for our miniature donkey Bucky). Unfortunately you live a bit to far. I have a question do male goats really smell that bad. I had one as a kid but don’t remember Elmer smelling at all. Maybe because I probably smelled… Really enjoy you videos…
I can’t speak for all bucks but I have one and two Nannie’s. He doesn’t do the pee on the beard or face thing because he has their undivided love and attention without having to. He does the blubbering and acting a fool routine but I can deal with that. Other bucks I know at a friend’s ranch don’t smell either but each had his own field and herd of does. I have another friend with a buck that stinks to high heaven.
Maybe with having so many girls this year. You could at some point buy one of their babies when they are bred. That would be a good way of keeping your lines going without having too many animals
Yes there's so many back yard bred goats out there right now. And the problem is everyone wants a fortune for them. Problem that's going on is they are so not up to standard. Does aren't up to milking par. Just because they say they re papered does not mean breed minimal standards. They might have a couple nice does yes but if u don't have a *B buck too your breeding down. And conformation of them and the amount of milk in the pail shows it all.

If I was in the market to get a goat I would definitely want one from you!

Do any of the students and staff watch your channel?
It’s a shame you didn’t disbud them. It doesn’t seem like your heart is in this to much anymore.
