    Hurts has led his team to the playoffs every year as a starter and played lights out in the SB! Despite that fumble, he put on a dominant performance in that game. 2023. Terrible OC. New system. No scheme for the blitz. Even worse DC. Then somehow a replacement with a WORSTER DC. They won games because Howie stacked them with 9 wins of pure talent (not easy to do).

    I would love our defense to be like one of our stronger, more dominant types of defenses of the past, but that’s not really realistic for right now. If Fangio can get our defense to be a middle of the pack, middle of the league defense we can still be successful. Our defense needs to be effective enough to get some turnovers here and there and keep point average around 22-23 per game and we can absolutely make a deep run this year . Our offense will average 30 a game. There was no creativity at all last year and we landed an extremely dangerous offensive mind in Kellen Moore. He was handed the keys of a Ferrari offense and all he needs to do is work with Jalen and help him with his reads and distribution. Kellen Moore had the number one offense for two years and that cowboys offense was not as Stacked as this eagles offense. I got us at 12-5 and beating Baltimore ravens twice this upcoming season . Go Birdssssss!! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅

  • @damonevans5640
    @damonevans5640 2 дня назад +1

    When they get this offense down pat and Jalen masters it, the identity of this offense will be unpredictable, exploiting weaknesses and controlling the clock as well. All of this will most certainly keep the defense fresh, and ready to close out games. I don't expect everything to be totally on tilt early, but by midseason, I believe the game play will be crazy on both sides of the ball.

    Good job covering this point of view. Eagle Eye podcast covered this point of view (minus the coaching critique) later in the 10-1 stretch but never went back to their analysis later in the year or since. We had the same offense last year as we did when we got to the Super Bowl but teams caught on and adapted to shut it down. I’m hopeful that the new Coordinators will be less predictable and more adaptable. We still have a lot of talented players ( hopefully Fletcher and Jason will be available- if I were Mr Lurie I would hire both of them as adjunct coaches) in order to help us in any way they can.). But we’ll see. I’ve been an Eagles fan since 1968 and have seen a lot of bad teams and good or great ones. It takes Front Office, Coaching and talented players (hopefully healthy ones going into the playoffs) and momentum, motivation and a little luck. Go Eagles 🦅! Keep up the good work. I’m subscribed so I’ll catch the rest of your videos.

Sure ,he’s a bit goofy,that’s what makes him a good coach. All these coaches try the stoic route,& wind up fired. Dude being himself,& I can respect that.

    The Eagles have professional coordinators. They have upgraded at their 3 worst positions: CB, LB and S. An upgrade in scheme and an upgrade in personnel is going to propel an 11 win team to 13-14 this year. Also the schedule was brutal. Not just the opponents but the game times and how many teams they played off of extended rest. The 49ers have it this year. That schedule was brutal and this year is much easier to manage.

I was a corner and you have to move as a unit and you have to have a feel of what the safety does well and doesn’t do well as a corner that’s my partner them and the line backers so when you switching in new ppl who you aren’t used to playing with it messes up the flow of the defense

    This is a very good channel and I subbed after watching this video because you know what you were talking about. The play calling was terrible and everytime when AJ or Smith was open they hitsticked or tackle which resulted in minor injuries. For example the Catch AJ BROWN made in week 12 he immediately got hitsticked after catching the ball by the 49ers defense. Watching our defense was so upsetting like bradberry getting cooked on every single WR CB matchup and defense just refusing to tackle the wrs and get a stop. This was the exact channel I was looking for a lot of people forget that Jalen Hurts was playing with injuries which was out of his control, I remember having a conversation with this guy that said jalen hurts isn't as good an is overrated because of his last season and when I mentioned that jalen hurts was playing with injury, he still said that he doesn't care and thinks jalen hurts will play like he did last season. Which is delusion at its finest. Thank You for sharing this Video

But people place the blame on the Qb. Without taking into consideration. The weaknesses of the coaches And a few players. Plus this team was banged up badly last season. I remembered BG. Saying he knew Jalen was going to win them the Bills game. And he did. Play calling was atrocious! I wish Kellen a successful season. So we can get rid of Siriani. This whole narrative about Jalen hurts not a proven talent at the quarterback position is baffling. I get that he had a down year last year but lot of that was the turnovers. He was also playing with a bad and a terrible offensive scheme. But if you take a look at his numbers, he ranks at that top-tier level. He literally has the same numbers as Joe Burrow and everybody calls him one of the top three quarterbacks. I’m glad you mentioned Josh Allen because that dude throws a ton of interceptions every year and hasn’t even made it to the Super Bowl, let alone put on a performance in the Super Bowl that was better than Patrick Mahomes! But for some reason, Allen continues to be considered one of the top five most elite quarterbacks. I would argue. He’s another one that has had one really good year, but it doesn’t really seem to matter when it’s not Jalen hurts. But for some reason, everything that went wrong last year is because Jalen hurts isn’t really as good as advertised.
    But one thing I will say is that whenever he faces adversity he always gets better. I can’t wait for this year. But even if he has another amazing year, the haters are still just gonna point back to 2023 and claim that that’s the real Jalen hurts. It doesn’t matter what he does people are gonna hate on him no matter what. But nobody likes us and we don’t care.

    DAMN, these ESPN people get on my nerves sometimes. Put ANY quarterback in an offense with terrible running schemes that force everything on a passing game that is predictable, and I promise there will be a "step back". Yes, Jalen needs to work on a few things, but to make it seem like he was the major factor for the collapse (looking at Nick Wright, etc.) is an absolute crime. A quarterback is supposed to LEAD the offense, not BE the offense. Even Tom Brady would've struggled with the system Jalen was given last year.

    I agree with you 100% one thing that worries me about Siriani is how he's just a manager. We keep going through these OC which isnt good for Hurts. Part of the reason why we don't have an identity is because we don't know what Siriani does well. Of Kellen leaves after this season we have to get another coordinator that's really good because Siriani offensive mind isn't good. Hurts can't get comfortable in his own offense because we're constantly changing it

    • @JWLSports

The Eagles will bounce back. They'll be great again, but idk if they'll get back to the SB. It's like they want to be mad about something so they nick pick everything. Isaiah Rodgers was asked which fan base was better Philly or Colts. He said he didn't play in front of Philly fans yet so he can't say but what he can say was that the Colts fanbase loved you win or lose.
