Why the heck did I not notice this earlier?
Starting at exactly 1:00 and ending at 2:36, the tempo is entirely in sync with the seconds, meaning that the remix is in 120 BPM, and as I know, music with a BPM that's a multiple of 60 can sync very well with real life time since it's the same amount of beats as there are seconds in a minute.
What's even cooler is that the 120 BPM stuff begins exactly when one minute passes in the remix.
