The municipality of Aranjuez is located at the southern end of the Community of Madrid, a historical-artistic heritage site, in which the palace and ornamental gardens (Gardens of the Prince, of the Island, of the Parterre, of Isabel II), the historic orchards, tree-lined avenues, and an extensive network of canals, ditches and historic dams. The Cultural Landscape of Aranjuez was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In the video we see the exterior and interior of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, the gardens and fountains of the Palace, the Church of San Antonio de Padua, the Plaza de Toros, the Rio Tajo River, the Casa del Labrador and the Jardín del Príncipe.
Then we go to the adjacent municipality of Ocaña, in the province of Toledo, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. In the video we see the Plaza Mayor de Ocaña, the Palacio de Cárdenas, the Lope de Vega Theater, the Rollo de Justicia or La Picota, the Tower and Portal of San Martín and the Tower of the church. Finally, the Fuente Grande de Ocaña or Fuente Nueva as it is known, which is a colossal work of hydraulic engineering from the 16th century, declared a historic-artistic monument.
