I love what you are doing. Having your parents close not only gives you & Gene comfort having your parents close. But they are blessed having you close. Our daughter and one of our granddaughters live across the street and that is a comfort knowing they are both close if we need them.
Hey Peggy! We are so happy to have them here! It’s going to be so much better for everyone.
What a Sweet thing for you two to do. There are a lot of us older people out here that don't know where to go, or have no place to go to. 🥰 Besides, if I can't have the ocean a farm is probably the next best thing. All the animals is awesome too. Your good people.
Aawwwh thank you Bev. We are just thankful that we have the ability to help our family
I just know that both of your parents are so stinking proud of you two!!! I am. I wish my Mama would have been here but it's been 40 years for her and my husband. They passed 2.5 months apart in 1982. My sister is in the hospital right now and not expected to make it. Please say a prayer for her. I love 💕 y'all so much!!
@@Nana_1958 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@justdigitfarms my sister passed and is no longer in pain. Thank you for the prayers. I love 💕 y'all. I'm from Georgia BTW
Oh my how precious are Mom and Pop!?! Praise God for seeing y'all through so much and so many years. I am also a breast cancer survivor. Double mastectomy and 8 months of chemo nearly did me in. That was 2019 and today I am cancer free! I admire your strength and I'm looking forward to seeing more from Mom and Pop! And Y'all.. I just dig it!!!
Praise God for bringing you through cancer! I watched her suffer through the chemo and it was heartbreaking
Gene and Tracy I love it when children take care of their parents. God bless you for doing this❤️. I live with my daughter and her family. I have a lower level apartment in their home. It’s been 9 years and I’m very blessed to be there with my 2 granddaughters.
Hey Shelly. That’s awesome!
I’m so glad you can have your parents nearby to help keep an eye on them. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s also, but your dad is getting around really well and I didn’t notice trembling hands. God is good all the time!
Hi Marian! Yes Pop is doing so much better than he was earlier this year and we’re believing God for continued healing
Your in-laws remind me of my own grandparents and family - just good, Southern folks. Makes me miss mine. God fearing, salt of the earth folks!
Hey kitty! They are pretty special
What a blessing they have you and Gene. And they are both so precious!
God will Bless you two for taking in your parients and letting them enjoy their golden years on the farm.
What an awesome blessing having the parents where you are but in a home of their own still even if it's smaller than where they had moved from. I could tell by looking at Gene's Momma and daddy that they are Gene's parents. I hadn't read the description yet. God has the last word, love this in so many ways. Blessings up and out to all of you there on JDIF ❤🌻
Thank you
I am a breast cancer survivor also God is good and may God Bless you all ....love this story
And the adventure begins Tracy. I loved Moms shirt at the beginning of the video. Pop sounds like a man of faith. I truly hope the Lord blesses you all in this new journey of your lives. Many are going back to communal family living the way things used to be. It can be a good thing if everyone keeps a positive attitude because no doubt it also has many heartbreaks of leaving your home, giving up privacy, and precious time but new memories are being made and new bonds are being formed. God bless and keep each of you.
Thank you so much. Like you said It’s going to be challenging but it’s going to be so much better for them to be here with us.
I got her that shirt from Kayla Friday at Little Cahaba Junkin. Not sure if you follow her or not. She was at the meet and greet and has a RUclips channel. I think she has her shirts for sale.
@@justdigitfarms thks for the info. I’ll check her out.
Yes. My mom has refused to move house! The house is not easy to manage. I am in a difficult place!
Moving his mom and dad to yaws farm is so sweet!! They will love it especially when they get in their little new home!
Praying for MANY MANY more years on the farm for your sweet Mom and Pop!! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Love this! My daughter an my dear son-in-love built me a small house behind theirs! It means the world to me and I know your parents feel the same!
I love that give God the glory even in the hard times.
Yes Donna! I couldn’t imagine getting through the hard times without Gods grace!
Just lovely! I used to tell my parents if they were going to have a disagreement...."front gate!". 🤣 No disagreements on our property!! "Get down to the front gate!" 🤣🤣🤣 It's now our family motto.... 😂
Oh yes I love this Raeleen. I believe I’ll adopt this motto!
That's great your parents get to come to your farm. I hope my husband and I can do the same thing. We are in our 60s and have had "physical" disabilities and surgeries but not anything that has threatened our life yet. We are believers in But God and He decides and with faith and prayer we can make it through. Many blessings to you all! (By the way, I discovered you through Cog Hill Farm with the interview of Brooke) 👍♥️😉🙂
We’re so grateful you found us. Thank you so much for joining us. God bless you!
Prayers for the new lifestyle change for everyone! Feel better! Enjoy!♥️🙏♥️🙏🙏♥️♥️👍🤞🏻✌️🙏🙏♥️
Thank you Mimi!
What a blessing you are.I was thinking, when you first mentioned doing this, how very blessed his parents were.
To be able to live there, and enjoy all the beauty, and to be able to work and do what they can, just wonderful.
I can't think of anything better,to pick me up and put me right where they are going to be:-)You know what I mean..
So excited to follow along.
Blessings to all
Donna
Thank you Donna!
I'm so happy for your family to be able to be together on the farm. It was heart warming to hear your parents say that they always wanted to live on a farm. So blessed!
Hi Ladonna how are you doing today
Tracy, just wanted to share what my daddy taught me and my 9 siblings. Mama and daddy would take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda for indigestion most times daily. My brother in law was from Massachusetts and my daddy called him a dam Yankee. The men all went to the beaver dam to go fishing one Saturday morning and Phil came back ate up with red bugs. He asked daddy why he didn't have any red bugs and daddy told him that he took a dose of baking soda. So if your men or you women go deep into the woods make sure you take some baking soda before going.
What a sweet family! 💗 I see where Gene gets his humor!!! "You just wanna skinny dip in the pond." 🤣🤣🤣
🤦♀️yep they are both pretty funny!
@@justdigitfarms Had to chuckle when they said Skinny Dip in the Pond.
I'm so blessed by your parent's testimony of their faith in God. TFS
They are pretty awesome!
How sweet! What a wonderful blessing to have all your family close! Most precious things in life love& family ❤
You will enjoy being closer to your family. There is something about living on a farm that makes you feel better.
What a sweet couple your parents are!!! Thanks so much for sharing this with me. I've loved you since seeing you on Cog Hill videos. I can't wait to see the house build🤗
Mom and Pop are great! What spunk they both have and I hope your Pop heals up more and feels better ongoing. Mom reminds me of my Mom tell it like it is and spunky as all get up! Fantastic people.
And your Mom!!

What a blessing your Pops and mom are. This is a beautiful story with many more chapters to come. 💖
They truly are amazing people!
this brought tears to my eyes for the kindness you have shown to your husbands parents. god bless all of you. i found your channel a while back thru watching cog hill farm, (one of my favorite all time channels to watch, love them all), and i have been watching you ever since. i know it will be lots of hard work, but so rewarding to. once again, god bless you all on this adventure. sending you hugs from this texas farm girl.
So thankful you are with us on this joyrney
Tracy, you and your husband are remarkably. Not a lot of people has been raised to take care of their parents. We were taught to do that, and we always have said, you are what you are taught❤🙏✨⭐️👍 love your videos ❤
Thank you so much!
I wouldn’t wear myself out burning stuff when you can make piles of wood and have barbecues outdoors from time to time or campfires in the fall or winter to sit around and chat.
Love Gene’s parents and of course you guys. Am looking forward to watching the adventures play out! God bless!!!
Your in-laws are the sweetest Tracy ❤️❤️❤️
Made me cry seeing what a beautiful thing you are all do’n for them(heartfelt tears).
Making their dream of a farm come true.So lovely 🥰
❤️
Hi Grannie Cyndy from South Australia here. God bless you and keep you. You are doing a beautiful thing.
And your parents will give you a great deal of benefits in ways you'd never imagined.
Honour your mother and your father. There it is.
And they will bless you richly.
Thank you so much
I think this is just wonderful. What a beautiful journey.
This family sharing and caring just warms my heart. ❤️ What a shame you couldn't move the Cog Hill tiny home to your property.
Tracy and Gene ... GOD Bless You for what your doing. So happy they will be with you on the farm they love too. He is frail and he needs you badly (shhhh don't tell him I said that). So glad your going to be helping them and I bet you will make it beautiful that will make her feel like its home and they both can share with the pond and the farm. God Bless your family.
Hey Karen! They are both very precious to us and I’m so grateful the Lord has blessed us with the ability to help them.
Now Tracy, you know that you don't pick okra, you cut it. My daddy would have had a field day with that one. LOL!!!
Yep your right Clara! 😂
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I pray one of my kids will do the same in my golden years. God be with you.
Yes Cherie!
One son told me if I sold my house they’d help me set a tiny house up on their land. I’d love to have one here in Tennessee and one in Oklahoma with the other son and family too.
Give them big hugs from Us.
We love y’all.
Oh hey Bobby & Tracy! When we get them settled into their new home we will have a reunion….y’all, Rita and Suzanne and Alton. Wouldn’t that be fun
I absolutely love this...its how we all were raised too...all about family...many prayers going up for all of y'all 🙏

looking great Tracy and God bless your family for being there for mom and dad ! Love your videos, I watch Coghill farms every episode. lol Love them too 1
Hi Judy! Thank you !
I'm looking forward to each and every new adventure.
Thank you !
I know your such a blessing to offer them help in their older years ❤️God Bless you
We love them and all our family so much and we’re just so grateful God has blessed us with the ability to help them.
Bless you all… God is so good, great testimony.
It looks like that the parents will need to have garage sales or estate sales or have a booth at the flea market to help pare down the volume of things into storage units. Of course there’s absolutely no hurry it could be done little by little and no one would get worn out.
How awesome for you two to give back to his parents. Looks like their home was pretty standard 1500 - 1600 sq ft? That is downsizing to 760+ sq ft!! Wih 2 storage sheds they may have a big garage sale!! 😁 best wishes ya'all, hope goes real well & on schedule! I know RV living isnt easy but gotta count the blessings! ❤🤗🙏
I'm so excited for Gene and Linda! ❤️🏡
Hey Rita! It’s going to be so much better for them to be here with us.
Y’all will have to come see us!

Hi Tracy and Jean. Jean your parents seem like fantastic people. I love the shed to house conversion great idea. I am 73 and would love to do the same thing. Good luck moving forward. 🌞🇨🇦

Tracy I love your father in law’s testimony
Thank you Emily! Their faith is incredible!
Mrs Tracy, I just love this video and will be praying for your family. Thank you so much for sharing this journey…it really hits home. We purchased land in Clanton in 2020 (my husband is also Air Force), and moved my husband’s mom and stepdad out there. They have been in a camper but recently started on a house now that building costs are coming down. We plan to build a home there in a couple years when we get out of the AF, and we look forward to being near his parents as they live out their golden years. Hope to one day meet you in person! ❤️
Oh wow! That is awesome Sarah! Sounds like we are on very similar journeys! Thank you for your service and I hope the very very best for y’all!
@@justdigitfarms Yes, ma’am! Thank you for your support, and we thank your son and his wife for their service as well. My husband will hit 22 years of service in December, so we very much look forward to what our “next chapter” looks like. God has been so good to us…more than we deserve! And we look forward to what He has in store for us next as we finish raising our children there, and they finally get to have grandparents right down the road. 😁 Love your videos!
This is a huge new adventure ... This is a beautiful location for their tiny house. No late nights for them ... lol lol Your parents are lovely and it will be nice to have them close.
Hey Jean. Yes it’s going to be a bit challenging but definitely an adventure! It’s going to be good for all of us for them to be right here with us.
What a great new step in your lives. Wishing you all the best with the new build. Exciting times ahead
Thank you Alet!
So precious!💕💕💕
I am on the exact same path - - I was resisting moving over to my son's property but last night I had yet another fall (over the vacuum cleaner hose) and they had to come over and put my glasses back together - - so as of today they convinced me that the couple of acres behind their house will be where I will live out the rest of my days. We are thinking of a single wide and a medium storage bldg. I will be watching every episode of your vlog. Wish we could do a shed to house but mobile will be quicker.
Hi Janie! Oh my goodness! I know it must be a difficult thing to have to leave your home and start over and need help from your children. I’ve seen pop and moms struggle with that but I’ve also seen in just the few weeks they have been here how much better they are mentally and physically!
This is going to be a fun new chapter in your life Janie! May God bless you and your son for helping you!
70 year old Grannie from South Australia here here. Still able to live independently thanks to 2 total hip replacements.
But as a mother of 6 sons, will be more than grateful if I find a late life home with one of them.
God bless you all.

Hello Barbara
The shed to house they gonna like! I did a shed to tiny house- 30ft ,but i;m not living in it- its a library and a canning kitchen, with bathroom on a shoe string budget,LOL
Oh that sounds nice to have a canning kitchen and a library.
@@justdigitfarms Commissioners here talked to me about doing it here, since they used to see me in the newspapers in a bigger town doing it everymonth, where i was the Director and ran a cannery. God has blessed me, cause they told me i didn't need permits and i did register it as a business- non- profit, even though i didn't have to. Then helped others to get their own businesses and licenses

God bless this beautiful family💚
Thank you Laurie
What a blessing to all of you, the Lord will honor your willingness to take care of your parents. So many times people don’t want to help take care of their parents nor have time nor ability (space) to be do it. I believe it is what we are called to do as Christian’s. I had older siblings that wouldn’t take care of my parents when they starting aging, and they reaped what they sowed. I sold my business, moved back home and took care of my parents where they wouldn’t (I wasn’t a chosen one, of my mothers, but a daddy’s girl) and the Lord blessed me in so many ways. I hope my children will one day build on our family farm and wan5 to live here with us. Love y’all! Hugs and love from Texas!
Hi Linda! I agree with you! I believe God gives us our family to love unconditionally and to always help each other and be there for each other! Family is the most important!
