Taeyong revealed that as a trainee, his dancing skills were actually really bad. They were so bad that his dance trainer ALMOST GAVE UP on him.
Then, in A YEAR & HALF, he went from dancing in the back, to being so skilled in dancing that he even became the CENTER of the SM Rookies at the SM Entertainment concert.
Despite starting training in 2012, Taeyong was introduced as an SM Rookie by the end of 2013, and he was even showcased on SM Entertainment’s RUclips videos before debut as a proficient and skilled dancer.
His dedication has even been used by dance trainers at SM Entertainment to motivate trainees.

NCT is known for their noise music especially NCT 127 most of their title tracks are really loud and hype but I think you're gonna love their b-sides track so I'm really hoping you;'re gonna also react to their side tracks and live performance especially the NCT lab mv's you might find something you like to put on your spotify playlist from there :)
SM actually hired a movie fight trainer and martial arts coach to teach the members of NCT-127 how to do the kicks, punches and use the nunchucks, etc. for their "Kick It" MV. If you really want to see how they filmed the MV and song, you should watch the behind the scenes of them recording "Kick It", ruclips.net/video/gv7jo80YKas/видео.html, and the behind the scenes of them filming the MV, ruclips.net/video/uO5Td-cDD-I/видео.html. You will be even more impressed when you see how much work and detail went into this MV.
This might even help you to get to know the members a little bit because they will use their names in the English subs when the members do the behind-the-scenes interviews while filming.
There are 9 members in NCT-127 -- Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer, who is also in SuperM), Taeil (main vocalist), Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Mark (main rapper and dancer, who is also the leader of NCT-Dream and the youngest member of SuperM) and Haechan (main vocalist, who is also in NCT-Dream).
And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of a song is pretty much how all of NCT's songs are structured, as well as the majority of SM Entertainment's songs in general. It's interesting how most people don't get all the references to Bruce Lee in "Kick It" (Chinese/Korean title "Hero"), even though everything is based on being like Bruce Lee -- hence why they say Bruce Lee like a hundred times in the song LOL -- and black and yellow are Bruce Lee's signature colors -- so, that is why "Kick It" used those colors. (Many say this MV reminds them of the Movie "Kill Bill," without realizing that movie is based on Bruce Lee-style action movies and is sort of a homage to Bruce Lee.) As you can see, part of the choreography where they rub their thumb on the side of their nose is done because it's a signature Bruce Lee move. Bruce Lee is a Chinese action hero, so even though this is one of the Korean sub-units of NCT, those are Chinese characters you see on the signs in the MV, etc.

The thing about nct songs is that normally people can't get it in the first listen. And Kick It is produced by the most out of the box producer right know, Dem Jointz. So it's okay not to like at first. But I really encourage everyone to keep listening their songs cuz the more you do the more you find very interesting aspects of it, the more you notice all the amazing vocals and ad libs, etc. NCT is such a amazing group with a lot of all rounder members.

I hated this song and thought it was agressive when it was initally released which mostly happens with most SM groups especially NCT music because of their experimental music style which now other kpop groups are trying as well so their music actually grows on you after few more listens and then it just gets struck in your head 24/7 which is why I am now their huge fan !
