Upon randomly seeing it on TV a few days ago, I now realize this show has shaped my humor just as much as Spongebob has. And right now I'm enjoying it more than SB because I haven't seen every episode 50 times.

Laura Wilson People actually took the time and effort to craft high quality cartoons back then. Nowadays, people only care about making money and being politically correct. An example is my favorite cartoon of all time: Batman TAS. It was awesome because it was so dark and realistic. If you tried to show that on TV now, parents would complain it was too violent and the channel would take it off the air so as not to offend them. Never mind how amazing it is, and that kids can actually learn something by watching it. People have gone soft, trying to isolate their kids from the real world and putting them in a protective bubble. Because of this, none of them will ever know what quality entertainment is, and end up watching shows that are downright pathetic. Makes me sick. But hey, at least we got to enjoy it right?

I don't care what people say about this show, for me it's one of the best shows in my opinion. A cat and a dog conjoined together about the abdomen is so awesome, creative, and pretty funny as a whole. It also made the show ahead of it's time too. There will never be another cartoon nor show in general about conjoined twins ever again, no show nowadays will be like catdog. It is such a fever dream and acid trip, the best trip you can get.
I loved Catdog as a kid, it was one of my favorite nicktoons. I also find it funny that it was the only cartoon that my parents actually liked watching with me and my siblings. The one movie that was made is still enjoyable for me to watch even now, it is just so delightfully weird.

Animation and Alton Towers Fan No doubt people who grew up watching the first Tom and Jerry episodes said the same thing about 80s and 90s cartoons. I've never watched Gravity Falls since I'm not into cartoons anymore but I know it's just as good as classic cartoons from the 60's.

***** Haha, there was another one you forgot it was called: "Fishing for Trouble" in that episode you see how CatDog won a game, and as price they choosed a fish, and it became their pet. But later Cat ate the fish (because he couldn't controll himself anymore) then he decided to go inside of Dog's mouth, (because he was scared that Dog will find it out that he ate their pet and get mad at him) to search for the fish and he ends up coming out of his own mouth.

***** Not as bad as the last episode which I read somewhere was unaired and I know why after watching it was disturbing and I'm also 16 going on 1, it tells u that animals are being slaughtered and turned into meat and then the end it's ridiculous it's trying to get u to believe that there is meat seeds that u plant and it grows on trees... I think they went crazy.
***** Haha, there was another one you forgot it was called: "Fishing for Trouble" in that episode you see how CatDog won a game, and as price they choosed a fish, and it became their pet. But later Cat ate the fish (because he couldn't controll himself anymore) then he decided to go inside of Dog's mouth, (because he was scared that Dog will find it out that he ate their pet and get mad at him) to search for the fish and he ends up coming out of his own mouth.

cutiegirl60000 That wasn't an unaired episode. I've actually seen it on TV. There was one part where Dog couldn't even eat vegetables because he started hallucinating them talking and then everything else talking...
But to be fair, animals are basically people in this cartoon.

all of you people calling yourselves 90s kids because you watched this sound thirsty as hell lol the show aired in 98 and ran til 2005 i really would not call this 90s it didnt even run during enough consecutive 90s years for those who actually grew up in the 90s(90-99) to be into this yes i grew up watching this but thats because i was born in 1995 im 20 years old but no 90s kid it came out when i was 3 and ended when i was 10 half of you are probably younger than me for what its worth this is a 2000s show and if you "grew up" watching it then you most likely grew up in the 00s, nothing wrong with that but can you imagine how ridiculous it would sound if 90s kids called themselves 80s kids because they watched full house, simpsons,saved by the bell or family matters(all STARTED in the late 80s) even though those shows spent way more years/ had most impact in the 90s im sure most actual 90s kids would not be reminiscing about a show that came out at the end of the 90s i should know i have a sis born in 84( a real 90skid) and catdog is definitely more my era than hers when i was watching this she was in high school and a real 90s kid is gonna talk about actual 90s shows such as

TheFabulousRBK yea exactly you would have been a kid in the late 90s but even being 10 in the year 2000 you were ten so like you said you were still a kid in the early 00s I was really talking about those who are a few years older than me and a few years younger than me who desperately try to call themselves 90s kids for watching a show that was barely around in the 90s it's comical cuz even a 1990 born can't call themselves real 90s kids or just 90s kids but to me it doesn't really shouldn't matter if your a 90s kid or 00s kid because both decades had great shows
Yeah, I'm 26 and was born in 1988, so I was 9 to 10 when this came out in 1998.
I'd say it doesn't matter whether or not you're a fucking 90's kid, it just matters whatever the hell you watched!

I always remember this Nickelodeon cartoon. I used to watch it when I was a kid. It was shown on ViacomCBS-owned Nickelodeon, Channel 4 and RTÉ 2 years ago. Its voice acting is very good.
