- Unveiling Blackpool Transport's 25 new Enviro400 City Buses.
All 25 of the buses were paraded along Blackpool's Tramway, before congregating on the Blackpool Tower Headland for a static display and launch.

Note the 'battleship grey' and black colour scheme carefully designed so buses blend in with the road surface. The partially sighted residents of Blackpool may pay the ultimate price trying to cross the road! What was wrong with green and cream?
