this is such an important interview and you can tell by the expressions he makes, he's starting to realize exactly how annoying it can be for a woman to have the same job as a man but not get her talents acknowledged simply because she is a woman. Lots of respect for them both!
It is because she's young and hot tho, so-called 'character' actresses, which is really a euphemism for old or average-looking, don't get such daft questions. It's because so many young women are obsessed with celebs and aspire to look like them. Sad.
I feel sorry for both of them, because both deserve to take their characters further and show more on how they see their character, but it doesn't seem mark ever will, which i hope not. Everyone is wanting a black widow movie, when mark is gonna be forced to only give brief glimpses of his character. Glad she is gonna get her chance though, i really wanna see in a solo flick
@114273669558505659390 Women are asked these questions because women want to know about it. Men don't give a flying fuck what makeup tricks women have, or if they have special poses. Even if they do ask women supposedly inappropriate questions, it's because these movies are, mostly, (read carefully: mostly) made for men, so it mostly caters to men. It's not harmful sexism, it's just giving the consumer what they want. Edit: I don't really believe this anymore - I think too few women care about makeup shit to justify asking about it, and doing so stereotypes women as someone who not only does care, but should care, about makeup shit. I don't think it's a gigantic problem, but I can certainly see why it can get annoying. Either way it's a silly gender invention. In many cultures, and animals, men pretty themselves.
***** "the second one is completely based on a concept that has decided who's going to like what based on gender." Urgh, this shit. Boys wanted cool action heroes, and forth sprang comic book action heroes and everything with it; including, but not limited to, big titted women, because hotdamn do we like us some tits. Likewise, women like sappy romance bullshit, so forth sprang sappy romance novels that cater to women, with oily muscled dudes who fuck women. No one but men and women, boys and girls, decided all this. "In this case, they may be catering to their "consumer", but that's because they've decided the other consumer isn't supposed to enjoy it." Regardless of society - across hundreds of cultures, throughout history - men have liked fighting and war and conflict more than women, mostly stemming from our higher aggression. It's not a social construct that men enjoy war flicks, and action movies, and indeed comic book movies, more than women. Men and women are inherently different.
AsifIcarebear3 I feel like everything you're saying is a huge generalization. A large part of the consumers of these action movies and comics is girls. Just because it's a stereotypically male product doesn't mean that 90% of the consumers are male. Marvel has a huge, huge female fanbase, according to recent polls, they make up 45-47% of it. Men and women are BIOLOGICALLY different and that's the only difference. I rather sit at home and play video games than watch a chick flick despite being a "girly girl" who likes makeup and has a completely pink bedroom.
King Actresses often, when in interviews with men especially, never get asked "in what way do you feel this character has influenced your life, and has acting with this cast changed you as a person ?" or "Do you feel as though your character and you have common qualities?" instead they get asked "What did you eat to get that body?" "Could you wear underwear under your costume?" "How do you feel being the sexy avenger?" they aren't interesting questions, they have the exact same answer and are really shallow. Guys really don't get these questions that often, sure maybe the ones who are known for being the quote on quote "Hot" ones but it's not the only questions they get and it's not every single interview. I hope this clarifies things for you.
It's funny the way they sat. Coincidentally(or not) she sits in what usually is a more masculine way: Arms wide open, hands on his back, chest more pronounced. And he is more like: crossed legs, arms resting on the thighs. Usually is the other way around.
@goodbyehoes That's why he's talking about toxic masculinity. Being masculine is not a problem, forcing it unto yourself and other men and forcing women into women's roles, is a problem.
@goodbyehoes I'm not saying masculinity isn't a thing, I'm saying that his version of masculinity, which apparently condemns men for the way they sit, is not masculinity at all.
@goodbyehoes Tbh, most men don't do it consciously. A lot of them do though. I know this kid (17 years) who opened up to me about being bisexual. I told him he should just tell people that. The people he trusts with knowing it. And when he felt more comfortable, he can openly tell anyone. But he choose friends that weren't very supportive. They probably don't mind bisexual people or gay people, but they still mocked him for it, pointing to other men saying "are you attracted to him?". I questioned one of them and he said he didn't mind his friend being bi. I asked where the jokes came from. And then the most annoying sentence "It's just fun among guys." It got to the point where he would refuse ever having said he was bisexual. Isn't that just sad? Not being able to out yourself because the guys won't tell you they support you...
And yet nobody says anything when men are asked about their workout routines or how they lost weight for a role. The ideal male body is one of muscle and physical and athletic prowess. The ideal female body is one of curves and attractiveness and sensuality. Why would you ever expect to have a man asked about his makeup routine or his skin care regimen or his clothing? That doesn't matter in the male circles. Women care about that shit. That's why it's women type magazines that always ask that of women.
They ask these questions of men all the time. Pay more attention. Chris Pratt gets asked about his weight constantly. Imagine the shitstorm if someone asked Scarlet Johanson about the weight she gained between movies. There would be a fucking cry in over it.
@@NovusIgnis No let us stay on topic most interviewers who asked this type of question were men not women. Go watch their interviews for the last movie and you will see. And if you have someone like a captain america who had to play a nerdy skinny kid and then becomes muscular it is normal to ask such question like how many hours did you hit the gym. But what has scarlet's underwear to do with anything?
@@Jessicaro I don't make a habit of watching it reviews, because I can't fathom why anyone gives a damn about these celebrities. I don't u derstand why we're all obsessed with them. They're just people working a job that's more public than other jobs. I don't see why they matter to so many people. But I highly doubt there was a male interviewer that asked scarlet about her underwear.
I feel like more interviewers should take hints from this. Male or female, being able to hear actors talk about the physical demands of film and shit like the ubiquity of hollywood makeup _as well as_ more meaningful stuff about their work in the acting itself is nice. Questions like "what are you going to do on the red carpet?" can go right in the garbage though what even is this shit. "What are you doing at the premier?" Eating the biggest fucking popcorn bucket I can, bitch.
@Sporke and just to put it in a little context for you, someone sees someone on RUclips getting asked about their underwear, it's deemed okay (well in this instance it wasn't, but there were no actual consequences for the perv) and some little douche thinks well whats the big deal, I'll ask some girl in the street the same thing. But (and this has happened where I've been asked that question) when that question comes after a long line of being followed home, followed to work, having old men threaten what they sexually want to do to you, to being called up by a guy who thinks you're a "fucking whore who should be careful when they next leave the house" because you said hello to them and engaged in polite conversation about the weather and didn't want to date them. To being pushed into the bathroom of a night club where you're pretty sure you would have been raped if the security guard didn't see it and pull you out of there. Yeah, it um adds up and is seen as vaguely threatening of well shit if a polite conversation can escalate, how's this one going to go
Nothing can make me love this interview more. It's awesome getting to see Scarlett get real and actual questions and also getting to hear her answers. They were both amazing.
+Phil Hogue Yeah, that's true, but I'm sure they could come up with some sort of storyline if they really wanted. Black Widow could also have more comics for her self.
+Phil Hogue Her storyline was alays a mystery. she doesnt even quite know all of it herself. this could make the movie a type where she's trying to find it out.
+SkrootNissu Yoctomind I'd watch that, Scarlett doesn't seem like a merry sue which I hate whenever they do that to female characters. Flaws make a movie great. :) Otherwise we get a Rambo movie.. Or worse StarWars: Force Awakens movie >>
Brilliant! Well done, Cosmopolitan!!! It's interesting though, how both of them struggle with answering the questions. With Mark it get's really jokey and more like a farce (which honestly is one of the only proper responses to these kind of questions - no matter what gender the interviewee is). But interestingly even Scarlett didn't quite know how to answer her questions. Like, she had answers - and good ones - but they were not very eloquent. That shows even more how she basically never gets asked questions about stunt work and the depth of her character. Crazy!
PumpkinSparks Haha maybe that's part of the reason why she doesn't get asked much. I just got aggravated with her incessant rambling, I wish she could have said something of a bit more substance. :/
PumpkinSparks Haha maybe that's part of the reason why she doesn't get asked much. I just got aggravated with her incessant rambling, I wish she could have said something of a bit more substance. :/
Ashley Hunter I'd rather argue that the reason she didn't have a ready answer is because she doesn't get these questions asked much. Just like Marc didn't know how to answer the rabbit food questions. She is prepared to answer questions about dresses and diets, and maybe even has some snarky comments ready about the interviewers sexism - but if you next to never get asked serious questions about your craft you are quite taken back if you have to answer them suddenly. And it's not just Scarlett, it's basically every pretty women in the business!
I didn’t see it as rambling. I saw it as her finally getting to answer these questions that she’s constantly seen her male costars get asked, so she had a lot of stuff ready to say. Maybe not the most eloquent phraseology since she had so much on her mind about it by this point, but she just wanted a chance to finally answer the good questions.
I just learned more about the Black Widow in 4 minutes than in all the other press coverage COMBINED. I love that Scarlett is the only one that received any actual combat training. Everyone else was in makeup and CGI. Well done.
Rare interview where Scarlett actually seems comfortable and happy tbh. I would of probably gone crazy by now being asked the questions she normally gets.
mark is a great guy , so chill and so nice of him to go along with this so nicely. but the real mvp here is scarjo who has been putting up with this her entire adult life lmao and hasn't flipped her shit yet. shoutout to all my awesome female celebs who the media doesn't take seriously enough bless y'all
I truly loved this. Seeing Scarlett not be asked “what did you eat? is it hard to work out?”. She seemed happier instead of just having an answer already ready. She got to go more in depth about her movie instead of her body.
Interesting questions get interesting answers, and questions about character motivations are just much more interesting than what someone is wearing. :)
Out of all the actors involved in these films, Mark Ruffalo is the most quiet and respectful, and not that much of an alpha male to begin with. It would be interesting to see this flip with Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, etc
giggi4455 - Holy shit, she gave them fair warning on a role reversal? That somehow means she just shat on men by countering a double standard! The humanity! Fuck off.
giggi4455 I get where you're coming from with the whole sexism thing, I completely agree, but I honestly don't understand your argument. The reason why women aren't encouraged to get in touch with their masculine side is because that's already, on a wide scale, accepted as normal. A woman can walk down the streets wearing pants or shorts and no one cares, but then a man steps outside wearing a skirt/dress and people question his actions. Women's weightlifting and wrestling are both Olympic sports, however men's synchronized swimming isn't, because "that would be just weird", according to some people. A woman working in construction, engineering, or as a tradie, while not common, isn't considered unusual, however all male fashion designers and hairdressers are assumed to be gay because they chose to pick up scissors instead of a hammer. So isn't encouraging "men to get in touch with their feminine side" the first step to blurring the line of discrimination? Eventually, we will be able to remove the gender stereotypes that come with the words "masculine" and "feminine", but for the time being, baby steps are necessary, and this is one of them.
giggi4455 No, I did. You apparently missed that I criticized the entire basis for your statement. Gods forbid two professional actors are given warning before switching up the interview on them. Are your precious man-feelings hurt because this Cosmo reporter literally flipped the script? It's okay to ask women petty and vain questions, but not a guy? Seriously?
I also notice how Scarlett starts “mansplaining” when Mark is asked a question. While Mark remains quiet and listening intently when Scarlett is speaking. Such an interesting interview. Let’s look for more balance interviews to come.
This is my absolute favorite interview so far!!! Thank you for switching it up. Hopefully we can one day soon not have to gender flip and instead only ask compelling questions to everyone regardless of gender.
iZuqoo I think the person was saying when asking an actor about acting in a movie... it might be nice to hear relevant questions about the movie and not arbitrary questions on appearance, work out routines etc.
LorenaWrites Yeah LOL, as if it's somehow a big deal already to ask women compelling questions. I don't get how we haven't already been asking all actors these questions.
Not a surprise at all. No woman who looks like she couldn't play someone who is 25 survives. The only older woman in the film industry are extremely attractive and relatively ageless ( likely in the form of genes and surgery and exercise regime). To compare - pay attention to anything you watch with men of a supposedly similar age and note the ageing signs in them ( as in this video - hair colour, wrinkles) .. most likely there won't be woman of a similar age - but if there are - they will likely look (or be) far younger than their counterparts.
@@emilieduncan7917 i was talking about their birthdays; me, mark ruffalo and scarlett johansson were all born on november 22nd :) but i totally agree with what you said!
Men in these movies constantly get asked questions about their appearance and diet or how uncomfortable costumes/makeup are etc. The fashion questions were the interviewer conflating red carpet questions with press junket questions. This was largely the interviewer trying to flex how woke she is.
Men in Hollywood are just as sexualized as the female's they just ain't rocked to there very core of victimhood by it and more than that it ain't like this is something that effects every lvl of society by far you have to be unrealistically physically attractive and famous to boot to receive attention like this if you as an average American think every man that walks passed you on the street wants to fuck you then you are very conceited and prolly kind of a bitch . . . That is not directed at you specifically just directed at anyone who honestly thinks that this is apart of everyday life for every woman alive
@@musiclaboratory9694 Of course, tye difference being that a sexy man is a tall, muscular one while a sexy woman is a thin, big boobied, big butt, petite thing.
@@Ismavolt I couldn't disagree more what you discribe as the standard for an attractive female is as far from my type as you could get and most men don't care about the media interpretation of "sexy" just like not all women go for the muscular jock that's dumb as a sack bricks that they might dead lift
Amanda Mack I agree, it would have been really funny if she would have just started out normal, simple, typical interveiw questions and then slowly start working in the concept and so on. It would have been awesome.
Ross Hughes Not even slowly, imo. Just tackle it like a regular interview, but swap the questions. Everyone would have realized immediately without 'dumbing it down', and it would have made the absurdity of the "normal" interview angles stand out even more.
KTSamurai1 I disagree. So many actresses have been quite vocal about tiring of those questions, and yet they still have to do all of those interviews with all of the same old pointless, tired questions. Nobody bothers to make sure *they're* okay with superficial questions focusing only on their bodies, clothes, or characters' (or even worse, their own) sex lives...
Amanda Mack Two wrongs don't make a right. I understand your point and I agree with you but all three of those people are doing a job, the interviewer included. A pop culture icon like Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel could have gotten away with it without any problem but this person likely doesn't have that kind of job security and probably needed these two to stick around and get some footage. Don't forget, she probably puts up with a ton of sexist bullshit herself, given her line of work. Besides, wouldn't it be nice if the kind of courtesy she extended to Mark was also extended to Scarlett? Or Jennier Lawrence? Or any female actor anytime they're interviewed?
I love the interview. I love Mark but I think that we should focus less on how relaxed he was about it considering that he is simply acting like a decent person.
That was actually a really good interview. The gimic paid off, and not in the way (I think) Cosmo expected. Due to the unusual questions, the actors opened up and gave us information we were very unlikely to hear in other interviews. After the first question or two, I was completely sucked in to it. Well done!
I really think it is amazing to see scarlet getting to talk about her character, her skills, her experience. WGAF about the damn red carpet. These questions should be dropped in an interview all together. I'm glad Mark got to see how annoying it is to be beside your coworker and get asked these ridiculous questions. Props to them both for this!
Khal Rhaego in her society, the way she’s positioned is masculine. The outfit and haircut are probably aiding to that for most. That’s what he said and he’s right
I think it was intentionally done, maybe directed by the interviewer; after Mark said he embraces his more feminine side “every single day”, there’s a cut where they change positions. Possibly they were instructed to do so, possibly they just changed their minds, but I really and genuinely love this interview, and Scarlett and Mark
I love this interview! I notice that women get asked a lot about their dress, size, makeup, etc, but I never really noticed until watching this how we really don't hear a women getting to talk about her role how Scarlet is here! It's almost like watching something from a different dimension- it's crazy.
@@Vexarax there are compilation videos of Scarlet being asked stupid, sexist questions, here on YT. Watch 5 minutes of one and you won't be confused, and note she's just one actress of dozens or hundreds that deals with mainly sexist questions.
they should do this more often. Asking the really stupid questions to a man make them more obvious. I sometimes role my eyes when I see interviews where they ask woman questions to the actresses and man questions to the actors, but I see it and here it and that's how that works, so it is easy to ignore. When they ask those stupid questions to the actor, you get confused, because it brakes the status quo.
They ask these questions of men all the time. If you really want to fight sexism in these movies lets start having all of the female characters have an obligatory topless scene.
@@mickeye6428 yeah that won't happen. Because god forbid you see a boob in the US. Women can not even breast feed properly before someoen yells that she should put her tits away. Boobs are way to oversexualized compared to Europe. And the only reason why men get out of their shirts sometimes is to show their abs they trained hard for. And they almost never ask this questions of men. I watched a lot of this interviews they never asked do you wear underwear underneath that suit of yours.
Mark is visibly uncomfortable with his questions. Just like most actresses. Great interview, way to flip the tables and point out the unequal nature of most interviews.
Mark doesn't look bothered to me. Just as generally reserved and awkward as he always is... Also he looks like he doesn't have much to say since so much of his role is mo-cap and his appearance has never been a focus of the character. Hugh Jackman, Tom Holland and Chris Hemsworth all get similar questions to the ones Mark got here... Regularly.
I've never seen a woman get uncomfortable when asked questions like this unless they were actually new to the spotlight. It's almost like that's what they're there for. Tell me, do you complain when men are asked about their own physical appearance? Because if you don't, then you have no place to complain when women are. It matters little to me in any case. I think it's stupid that we as a society put so much emphasis on these celebrities. They're acting. They're doing their job, and that job happens to make a lot of money. But celebrities are no more special than anybody else. They worked hard to get where they are, but they don't have some secret or special ability in then that makes them worthy of interviews. Nobody cares what they have to say on politics any more than they should care what their neighbor has to say regarding the subject.
Honestly, seeing this question being asked to a man, makes me truly realize how patronizing they are. Even as a woman I sort of viewed it as normal to see women be asked this sort of thing. Great interview!!
I like the fact that Scarlett is sitting with her hand behind Mark's chair like she's the dude in the interview, just giving masculine energy lol. Fun interview!
Scarlett is so engaged and passionate when answering these types of questions! Such a huge difference when comparing it to the repetitive questions she gets involving her body/looks. Woman in Hollywood need to asked more of these types of questions during interviews!
This interview is so amazing. Not only because it showed how annoying it is to be asked the same depthless question over and over again, but also because I’ve learned so much more about Scarlett and what it took to play the role.
Everything changed when I had two daughters. I'm constantly horrified, seeing the world with new eyes. I never noticed before how subtle and pervasive sexism is. WELL DONE YOU GUYS AWESOME!
Love how both of them handle this. Really love how Mark treats Scarlett through the entire thing. He is a serious class act. This is what feminism means people: treating women like they are actual full fledged human beings.
"That's her real name." lol I love that. It's like "Oh, I realize her name is preposterous, but seriously, it's actually her name." Still, she's very generous here, not just crediting others where it's due, but actually helping Mark to salvage some kind of worthwhile answers to the deliberately banal questions. We get the joke, but she doesn't leave it at that. She makes sure he gets a chance to look good regardless.
Scarlett and Widow are so fkn badass it kills me. And Mark and Scarlett have such a lovely relationship, that moment when he said, "sorry, babe" was so cute. They're so GooD TOgETheR
I wasn't crazy about Marks answers. He didn't mention the tailor, the cut, what tie he would be wearing or any other accessories. For the pose, Mark seem into peace signs, arm behind his guest and the most daring and hard to pull off hands in pockets.
Wow can you imagine just how much value add there is to interviews where the women are asked about their craft. This was a really clever interview. Hopefully this continues.
I don’t care if this is old: I really wanted to hear Scarlett answer some thoughtful questions instead of b.s. journalists usually ask because their playbook needs to be updated. She’s been an action star for a decade… I want her perspectives on THAT
I didn't know I needed to watch this video so badly. Mark and Scarlett are so good here I'm so proud of these two, and I can see Mark is so proud of how Scarlett is getting a chance to actually talk about her character, and the fact that he is so comfortable with it :') I hope one day people get asked good and intelligent questions regardless of their gender
it was really educational to watch both actors being caught by surprise like that. like someone else pointed out, the most striking is how johansson was really not expecting to be asked so many meaningful questions, and it was a delight to watch her slowly getting comfortable with being treated like she should, in fact, always be treated -- as an well-rounded actress/artist, not a mannequin or a doll...
This is amazing. Thank you Cosmo for creating such an eye-opener to fans and celebrities alike. I'm glad to see how cool Ruffalo was with this, even going on Tumblr and agreeing to answer more sexist questions for Johansson if ever needed. I also liked how interested he seemed in Scarlett's answers to her own important questions :) wonder if he was thinking how he's never really heard these answers come out of her in other interviews!
This is so great as Scarlett clearly had so much to say as she never gets asked those questions! It's so nice to see both of them get to answer some new questions for them; let's hope this trend continues!
I love that the interviewer decided to actually treat her with respect. But also it probably isn’t a great thing to reverse it either. How about we don’t ask shallow and stupid questions of any actors? xx I mean it’s not like it’s Marks fault that people ask Scarlett sexist questions. 😆
I love Mark's reaction to everything obviously and getting to hear more from Scarlett about her character since she is a really interesting character and it takes a lot of work. But what I love most is just their relationship, they seem just so comfortable with each other and they're really having fun and kidding around with each other and it's fun to see that.

***** "the second one is completely based on a concept that has decided who's going to like what based on gender."
Urgh, this shit.
"In this case, they may be catering to their "consumer", but that's because they've decided the other consumer isn't supposed to enjoy it."
Regardless of society - across hundreds of cultures, throughout history - men have liked fighting and war and conflict more than women, mostly stemming from our higher aggression.
Amazing! We need this more, actually asking actresses about the role they are playing, how they had to fit that characters personality etc.

What are those sexist questions, because I genuinely don't know?
Thekiwijobes I agree but can't ignore the other actor like that
King Actresses often, when in interviews with men especially, never get asked "in what way do you feel this character has influenced your life, and has acting with this cast changed you as a person ?" or "Do you feel as though your character and you have common qualities?" instead they get asked "What did you eat to get that body?" "Could you wear underwear under your costume?" "How do you feel being the sexy avenger?" they aren't interesting questions, they have the exact same answer and are really shallow. Guys really don't get these questions that often, sure maybe the ones who are known for being the quote on quote "Hot" ones but it's not the only questions they get and it's not every single interview. I hope this clarifies things for you.

What interviews are you watching?
It's funny the way they sat. Coincidentally(or not) she sits in what usually is a more masculine way: Arms wide open, hands on his back, chest more pronounced. And he is more like: crossed legs, arms resting on the thighs.
Usually is the other way around.
Felipe Griebel ruffalo is just that kind of guy
@@strider9184 a guy who doesn't concern himself with the toxic so called "masculinity" that you people are so obsessed with.
See how stupid it sounds when a man is asked these questions? Why can't every interview be based on their work and not their looks?
Asked by other women? Yes. Hilarious people using the word " sexist" when it's women's magazines that focus on looks.

Weird how I found the sexist questions directed at Mark informative as well. lol Who knew about the body paint that lasts a week?
I feel like more interviewers should take hints from this. Male or female, being able to hear actors talk about the physical demands of film and shit like the ubiquity of hollywood makeup _as well as_ more meaningful stuff about their work in the acting itself is nice.
Questions like "what are you going to do on the red carpet?" can go right in the garbage though what even is this shit. "What are you doing at the premier?" Eating the biggest fucking popcorn bucket I can, bitch.

@Sporke men ask what underwear shes wearing and how the tight the outfits are.
@Sporke ruclips.net/video/wNbooQcnRaQ/видео.html there you go boo

Scarlett/Black Widow should get her own movie tbh. She's a very talented actor, and the Black Widow is just awesome. Scarlett was born for the role.
no black widow doesn't have enough solo comics to have a full length film she doesn't have any villains either

PumpkinSparks cosmopolitain didn't come up with that idea at all. Mark agreed to do this on tumblr.
Scarlett is having the time of her life lol
I just learned more about the Black Widow in 4 minutes than in all the other press coverage COMBINED. I love that Scarlett is the only one that received any actual combat training. Everyone else was in makeup and CGI. Well done.

Why can't more interviews be like this?
.
giggi4455 - Holy shit, she gave them fair warning on a role reversal?
Seriously?
giggi4455 You literally ignored my response and repeated yourself. Reading comprehension is your friend.
LorenaWrites Are you saying there's no difference between men and women ?
iZuqoo I think the person was saying when asking an actor about acting in a movie... it might be nice to hear relevant questions about the movie and not arbitrary questions on appearance, work out routines etc.
LorenaWrites Yeah LOL, as if it's somehow a big deal already to ask women compelling questions. I don't get how we haven't already been asking all actors these questions.

totally off topic but the fact that they were both born the same day as me blows my mind
carlacarlacarla woah, that’s cool😊♥️
Not a surprise at all. No woman who looks like she couldn't play someone who is 25 survives. The only older woman in the film industry are extremely attractive and relatively ageless ( likely in the form of genes and surgery and exercise regime). To compare - pay attention to anything you watch with men of a supposedly similar age and note the ageing signs in them ( as in this video - hair colour, wrinkles) .. most likely there won't be woman of a similar age - but if there are - they will likely look (or be) far younger than their counterparts.

DO YOU SEE HOW WEIRD IT IS WHEN YOU ASK MEN THE SAME QUESTIONS
You spelled "funny" wrong
Great idea, but would have been even better if the interviewer hadn't felt the need to explain the concept ahead of time.
Amanda Mack That would have been more fun but if Mark wasn't on board it might have cost her an interview. Y'gotta make sure.
Or any female actor anytime they're interviewed?

they should do this more often.

Love how both of them handle this. Really love how Mark treats Scarlett through the entire thing. He is a serious class act. This is what feminism means people: treating women like they are actual full fledged human beings.

I love that the interviewer decided to actually treat her with respect. But also it probably isn’t a great thing to reverse it either. How about we don’t ask shallow and stupid questions of any actors? xx I mean it’s not like it’s Marks fault that people ask Scarlett sexist questions. 😆
Mark's cute little, "Sorry babe," at 3:36 and they way they kept looking at each other all cute like had me grinning like an idiot!
Mark Ruffalo is so sweet, he admires Scarlet alot, he looking at her while she speeks is really tender
wow, scarlett's stuntwoman is the same person who did part of lara croft's motion capture for tomb raider underworld :)
Gosh, I love her hair style in this video so much.
I have been wanting to hear scarlett answer these sorts of Q FOREVER! More PLEASE
It showed that Scarlett Johansson was not used to answering these types of questions. Interesting interview with an important point.
I smiled trough the whole interview I loved this thank you!!
ASMR Shanny omg your here too! Love your videos!
Aw thank you so much!!
Wow this is the first interview I’ve watched with ScarJo answering a legitimate questions about Black Widow! FINALLY! Thank you UK
Mark just went "it's my time to do my part. It's like I was made for this."
I love Mark's reaction to everything obviously and getting to hear more from Scarlett about her character since she is a really interesting character and it takes a lot of work. But what I love most is just their relationship, they seem just so comfortable with each other and they're really having fun and kidding around with each other and it's fun to see that.
Wow. I am five years late to find this interview. Awesome. Every interview should be like this.
