Sweet deal with Carneval. Stuff happens. When I was in the Gallapegos, the elegant tall sailing ship I planned to travel with DROPPED its newly renovated engine in the ocean two days before my trip. They offered me a place on a very old boat as everything else was booked out. Turned out to be the BEST experience! The boat was the original one from the 1950‘s that was used to start the tourism industry. It has no sails but that meant a smooth ride and a smooth stay in ports. The Captain and crew were super cool and musical. We danced and played salsa every night, slept on the roof under the stars. It was awesome. Just rolling with it is sometimes the best choice in life.
When you mentioned in your last video that you were coming in and leaving the same day I legit got second hand stress for you in fear that might happen! Looks like a great trip! The free cruise deal sound great!
Yeah, that wasn't the best idea, especially in the winter. I was supposed to fly through Denver but they had a snowstorm that backed up all of the flights in and out. I had to fly down to Dallas, over to Chicago, then on to DC. It took all night.--Tasha

I was on a cruise at the (almost) same time...and I was also on a 7 day cruise...and also in the Caribbean....and I was ALSO on carnival cruise. I was kinda keeping an eye out thinking it might be the same cruise. But I was on the Carnival Magic, and we had different stops and I think maybe a couple days later than you (Sunday-Sunday). :p But I am glad it wasn't the same cruise because I would have gone insane if it only had 1 stop.
I fear cabin fever on ships or mini real life titanic moments which you all seem to have encountered. We can’t predict the weather though. Glad you all had a good time despite the unanticipated change of plans.

One of my heart's greatest sorrows is that my daughter resents the presence of her brother. She loved being an only child and is quite rude and mean to her brother. Do you have any advice on how to handle this?
Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that. One of the things that I often talk about with Alexis is how happy I am that she will have her brother after Joseph and I are gone. Maybe that will give her some perspective?--Tasha

I was on the Carnival Pride in August 2015 with my family and we had the interior obstructed view French balcony that you have. I loved room. And as far as different cruise lines go Carnival has some of the biggest staterooms. With your future Cruise credit you should try one of their ships out of New York or Norfolk. They are different class ships throughout the fleet and fun to try them all. try to get one of their ships with Half Moon Cay as one of the stops. That's their private island in the Bahamas and it's gorgeous.
