Tip for getting heads off that are stuck with tape. Use a heat gun or run it under a hot faucet to heat up the adhesive. Works like a charm. Also, put the stick between your thighs and pull will always be the best method for pulling the head off.
I use a piece of thin semi-rigid clear plastic (polyethylene - the same material that you would find a pint of strawberries packaged in clamshell containers... also available for every vacuum sealed product out there). Wrap a rectangular piece completely around the shaft (about 1.5" x 3"), mark the overlap with a sharpie and trim it to meet the proper circumference. Slide the head on with the shim in place them use the sharpie again to mark the plastic at the bottom of the head. Take the head off and trim the plastic a final time for the bottom border. This works like a charm and avoids all the issues of the head getting stuck because of tape adhesive when using tape as the shim. I've done this a half dozen times over the years for the various shafts my son has worked through. Super happy with this method. One word of caution - cut the shim short enough to ensure there is no lip sticking out from bottom of head. Thin stiff plastic like that can be sharp. Good luck.
the handle of q tips also work as spacers and if you're getting a shaft second hand and the screw hole is too big, find yourself a wine cork, put it in the shaft, screw into that.
Great tip Thanks. I use Flex Glue on the screw to keep it tight. That particular glue holds well but stays pliable enough to still remove the screw if you're switching heads.
Change that intro music lmao, I use the electrical tape to stop the rattle. One of my favorite tips is for but ends. You tape a normal rubber end cap with electrical tape so you can't pull it off than make a donut. The end caps reinforces the donut. And you just put on tape normally
It needs to be whittled down sometimes depending on the shaft, but I’ve found this STX shaft plug to be the overall best solution. Use two screws for extra hold.
Boy just had to get my weapon x head on my MTX Shaft and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was gonna be at first, I bought without Realizing they aren’t compatable but I made them work and it’s great but this a cool technique!
A good tip to cover. I’m going to need to buy a new head soon, and there’s no way to find a natural colored dna. Do I buy a regular white dna or is something new coming out within the year?

That or the buddy system! Somethings just take patience.
Hair dryer works well to heat up the plastic to make it expand and loosen up
@@kylegoehring5716 Agreed! 💯
the intro made it seem like a arts and craft video from preschool but this is helpful
Kind of arts and crafts!

Shooting string method is 👑
Great tips, played hs 00-05 and my son is playing now. Never thought of the shooters, we always just used hockey tape
Both do the trick!

My personal hell is a cold rainy practice with a loose head and every ball is old and slick.
Happened to me a week ago, worst practice I ever had lol

Nice quick solutions - also professional-looking video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!

Pro tip: leave it in the locker room..
That seems like the best solution

You can use a cork from a wine bottle as a plug for the screw to bite into.
That is another great tip!

They are compatible, all of our shafts come standard with the throat insert which are removable.
@@ECD yes it was removable but not removable without a heat gun or somehow softening the adhesive

Own the rattle, if it gets bad enough it might give you a little extra whip
Can't stand the rattle. Must be fixed.
@@michaelpogostick you have to let it get even looser and then you get more speed on the shot when it snaps forward!!
