  • This is the 5th 'footprint' on the Aunty Barb Walking History Journey.
Created by Aunty Barbara Wingard and Dulwich Centre Foundation this journey honours significant histories in the south-east corner of Adelaide. The stories are spoken by Sharon Perkins and Trent Wingard.
Here are some questions you might consider after listening to the stories from this first footprint:
If you were to create signs in your workplace that were congruent with narrative practice, what would they be indicating or pointing to?
What sort of acts of resistance to instructions do the people you work with engage with? What might these acts of resistance be preserving?
These parklands are a sanctuary and resting place, what are some of the significant places for those with whom you work? Is there any way in your conversations or in actions that you could include these places more in your work?
In your work with people, are there ways in which you use narrative practices to assist people to ‘read the signs’? To ‘know which ones to pay attention to and which ones to ignore’?
