Stranglethorn Vale on PVP servers is a legendary zone in WoW Classic - or should I say infamous! A certain group have plagued the area for literal decades now. But! The terror of Stranglethorn has lived long enough! Low-level heroes band together, and call in a few favours from friends !
A classic WoW scenario of the Ganker suddenly becoming the Gankee, as even higher-leveled (or better geared) players show up to return the favour!

A lot of comments on the last Ganker video mentioned this scenario, so I figured I'd give it a go! ^^ Thanks to everyone sharing the video around!
I love it Gorak! And I remember doing something simillar back in TBC when lvl 50 to 60 Hordies were sitting Ganking NPC's and players in Sentinel hill. It was sooo satisfying to log in you're lvl 70 fully epic kitted gear and then go kick them out and when they tried to move to a new area to gank you just followed them.

That happened to me once. I was humbled and leveled elsewhere.
No risk for that, gankers are gank, becue they suck in PvP, and can only fight low level player.

A good friend of mine used to gank players all the time. He would brag about it and how fun it was....until I decided to have some fun by logging into my opposing faction main, went to where I knew he was ganking, then killed and camped him. He never figured out I was the one ruining all his fun. I miss messing with him and this brought back some fun memories
Ahh, the gratification level on the intro scene for 'the main' is as good as when akainu realized whitebeard was about to hand out an epic beatdown
This is pretty much the main reason why I never killed low-level players.
1) I was afraid they would get revenge with their high-level main and camp me
2) I know how much it sucked to get camped and one-shot so I never did it to anyone else.
3) there is simply no honor in killing those who cannot fight back.

And even tho I used to have fun with my DK in Duskwood where I used to stay on rooftops and use Chains of Ice and watch how they freaked out as they had no idea where it came from xD

This was my unrealized fantasy in the older days of WoW.
But more often than not, the ganker had sidekicks or my main was the one who was the victim cause I had not maxed anyone yet

Yes! With Hati it is possible if you buy from Mimiron the items and works for an hour or so. But it would be even cooler if I could ride my demosaur or felhound into battle and do a hero landing or something haha 😂

Back in the day I was the most powerful mage on the server and the leader of my guild on Burning Alliance / EU. We used to hang out with the most powerful shaman on the server who was the guild leader of his respective guild. They were the 2 most powerful guilds regarding raid progress, so we were decked out in the newest purples before everyone else. Outside of raid duties we used to gank noobs in Stranglethorn among other places. We could bring our entire guilds to help, so bringing your main didn't help much. Ganking was life.

One Gorak video a day makes the happiness stay!
One time I was in Ashenvale with my ~30 nightelf hunter. I ganked a mage a few levels below me, it was trivial for me. I did that maybe twice, and then I noticed how he stayed dead for too long. He logged onto his main char. He looked around with his epic mount, but didn't find me. I was on a long range, looking with eagle eye, humanoid radar and using stealth (my cat humar also had stealth). When he logged back and resurrected, I ganked him again. He logged back to his main and failed to find me. This entire thing went on for maybe 20 minutes.
I don't know why I did that, but it was fun. Playing a nightelf hunter is like being a guerilla fighter. You have a sloppy stealth, traps, and a nice toolkit for scouting ahead - but one mistake and you are dead. The level of awareness to prevail as a hunter is high.

Nothing quite as satisfying as going from the hunted to the hunter. Still remember my first time meting out sweet, sweet vengeance.
That took me back to the times someone would be camping the lowbies in my guild and I'd come tearing in on my raid geared main. I still remember terrifying some Alliance warrior so hard he vigilenced himself.
