Kumudji is wrong. Dilshad Khansahib is from Kirana Gharana. He is a student of Ustad Faiyaz Ahmed Khansahib and Niyaz Ahmed Khansahib. Parveenji's taalim in Patiala Gharana was a result of her father being her first guru, Janab Ikram-ul-Majeed. He was a die hard fan of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khansahib. Majeed Sahab never had a formal gandabandhan but had stayed with Uatadji, resulting in his knowledge of the Patiala style.
Ustad Dilshad Khan was born Arabinda Dasgupta in Kolkata.[1] Dilshad is the younger brother of eminent sarod maestro Buddhadev Das Gupta[citation needed]. He attended St. Xavier's Collegiate School, Kolkata, where future music composer R. D. Burman was his classmate.[2] He started learning tabla at the age of four, but later took up singing under the guidance of N.C. Chakravorty, Hidan Banarjee and Gyan Prakash Ghosh. He was inspired by Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. After moving permanently to Mumbai Khan became a disciple of Kirana gharana vocalist Padmashree Faiyaz Ahmed Khan. [3] He gave up a lucrative career as a marine engineer to pursue music.

It can be seen that she is using 6 strings Tanpura like one that Ustad Amir Khan Sahib used to have with him rather than a normal 4 strings one. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Tabla accompaniment should have been equal to the Begum Sahiba's standard. I may be excused for this comment as the tabla accompaniment appeared to be just simple 'theka' and not inspirarational to bring out the best from the vocalist.
People knew how to critically appreciate the highest level of music before... Now people listen to trash, watch made up and previously recorded music shows, even the judges of musical competition shows talk at the time of singing and are lowly qualified🤧
