@@happy_hartshornes 100 percent Unbelievable man. Truly is. Did your window unit come with those flat plastic pieces on both sides? Mine are installed with this cheap accordion plastic on sides 😃 I did buy some thick weather stripping but your set up is much cleaner!
temperature shouldn't mean anything when it runs its not like a gas pedal on a car it doesnt run faster the lower you go. 14 guage is the smallest wire not for motors maybe a drop light. should buy a num 10 wire thats what i use on mine. i also did a/c repair for 50 years you need a amp probe to measure amps

@@vikingerik80 yes, I have that accordion stuff but mine also came with some insulation pieces that I put in over the accordion part.
