yeah I really don’t like seeing the reptiles barely having enough space to walk around! these geckos are nocturnal and they don’t mind climbing around and hunting at night.
got 2 today, they look awesome! they’re siblings but they will breed next year (they already had a baby this year). I’m gonna let them chill for a couple of days, but I’ll post about them soon :) absolutely love your setup! it looks sick 🤩 any tips?? thanks :D
Thanks! I don’t see why not. I use it above most my geckos. That said I don’t have any in this tank as of yet. I don’t think it’s crucial to longevity but it’ll help simulate the wild further and give them the option should they wish to use it.
To be honest I never really count it out. I fed them a few time a week. Sometimes 3-4 time in summer. Less in winter. If I were to guess I’d say 3-6 insects on a feed depending on the size of the bugs.
@Beaches Scaly Beasts the male doesn't try to overbreed with them? Just asking because I have a male Wheeleri and have been thinking of getting a female
@@jpslizards not in my experience if there is adequate space and hides for the animals. This trio is somewhat new to me but I believe they’ve been housed long term together for years.
Enclosure looks great! Love that you incorporated more rough texture for the Cinctus like their true environment!
Thanks! That was the aim. They really blend into it.
Awesome setup! Everyone should make something similar for their geckos, that's what they deserve!
Thanks!
Very nice Luke! Glad to see them having settled in so well!
Cheers Mitch!
Oh thank goodness, someone that doesn’t keep their reptiles in racks or the bare minimum!! Amazing setup!
Thank you! I’ve come from rack keeping years ago but have seen the light.
@@BeachesScalyBeastsIt’s amazing that you’ve been open to new information and awesomer enclosures!

Do you send merch to scandinavia? :))
The merch can be sent anywhere. It’s all made to order on the teespring site. Link can be found in the description :)
Do you bother with a thermostat for the heat chord?
I will in the warmer months but for now it doesn’t over heat.
Hello, can I raise a knop-tailed geko together at 90 45 45 exotera cage 1 to 3? I wonder if it reproduces naturally
You should be fine to raise them up in something that size and reproduce them. Just make to provide them plenty of hides and a couple of humid hides.
Nice video. Do you recommend uvb for the rough knob tail gecko?

hey, I have a question. how many insects do you feed them a day? thanks!

Looks great! Do you keep 1.1 together all year round?
Thank you! 1.2 and yep, all year.

Does this enclosure work for Nephrurus amyae too?
Sure would. Habitat is pretty similar from when I saw amyae in the wild.
