I love this video so much, thank you Noel. I live in the UK and often have travelled from Heathrow to Boston. I’m in a long distance relationship with my bf who lives in the states, and I don’t know when I’ll be able to see him again because of covid. This video captures the full experience of travelling to Boston perfectly (crying baby included) and is extremely comforting to me during this hard time. I like to watch this video while pretending that I’m going to visit him. Thank you
I'm in a similar situation Lisa tho it's between 2 different countries tho I'm a kiwi and I'm engaged to my beautiful future wife to be from Pakistan but she lives in Seoul South Korea. We meet in 2011 in the Philippines and now she's living right now in Seoul. I was meant to fly to Seoul last year in July 2020 to marry her then bring her back to NZ I had booked my airfares in January 2020 then covid-19 hit and in March 2020 Jacinda Ardern closed our borders off to the whole world we have been closed off to the world since March 2020 I'm hoping we'll be reopen to the world next year in 2022 so I can fly back over to marry my future Bride. It's been so tough not getting over there and being with her. They're waiting for our country to be 80% vaccined first before slowly opening up our borders to the world again. I'm getting my vaccine this Sunday my first shot of 2 shots. They plan to make it apart of our passport if we want to fly. I haven't seen her in the flesh since we got engaged in October 2018. So right now she's in Korea while I'm in New Zealand so Lisa I know how you do feel. These governments don't think about ones like us they don't care.
The last summer where I genuinely felt great and still young, and it was a good UK summer as I recall well. Weird how nostalgia works from just watching videos like this.
Actually its Lift, the engines provide the thrust. The wings do the heavy lifting :) There are four forces acting on aircraft, Thrust, Drag, Lift and Gravity. For straight and level flight, all forces are equal. For takeoff, lift is over coming gravity etc. But I really think there is 5 forces that act on aircraft and the last one is MONEY, with out that last one the other four do NOT work. ;)
I strongly agree with you but these wings on A380-800 are too big and totally enough to lift the aircraft actually, since these wings are designed to also use them on A380-900 and A380-1000 they were planning when they first designed the A380 itself
This one is really very nicely done, I haven’t flown since the pandemic started but this one can make me seem as if i would be flying especially since when i last flew on this aircraft i kept the meal trays and i can now even put a homemade inflight meal alongside this film even having the BA A380 trolley handy. The one i bought online is exactly the same colour and design as the ones you showed here
Because when ba sold stuff during the pandemic i was really excited to replicate the full ba experience at home. The flight announcements the sounds can really make my own experience come to life.
Plane... My dream 😍 I wish fly away... And becoming a stewardess, or pilot. I flew on true simulator, I loved that expérience!! Thanks for your videos, I can dream... Sorry for my English 😂😂
Nice view of the wing and flaps. Very full flight report. Another one for me to strive to get better with making of mine that I do. Again, thank you for taking the time to produce these...
For those of you wondering how this massive A380-900 fly it's because planes can fly from lift force from the flaps and airfoil of the aircraft that molecule in air push forwards from thrust force. These are huge machines, but the help of 4 engines can push this A380 forward. Flap increase surface areas of the wing, which made easier to brake and slowdown for takeoff/landing and airfoil control the lift of the aircraft. During takeoff, the pilot increase the thrust and the engine blasting push back from the ground and the elevator is use to get the plane off the ground. You will learn these 4 forces of flights (Lift, Weight, Thrust and Drag) in flight school or major in aviation, subject is physics. I'm currently learning for B777-300ER, but I know a few quite components and technology system of A380 and it's very hard to learn. My pleasure for explaining, great to give people knowledge about aviation. See you in the sky!
No just stay in Australia. I grew up in London until i was 15, now Im 36 and live in Florida after 10 years in NYC. It shit here. I wish i could go to Australia and NZ. All we have are rude, fat, racist, drug addict, and on welfare abusers.
Noel, who was that lady you was talking to about the Lancaster bomber that was rescued.. would make a great podcast... Loved listening to that conversation
You saw those guys taking pictures when you were taxiing to the gate. U.S. carriers don’t have any A380s, I’m sure that JFK, LAX and SFO gets their share. I’m guessing Boston doesn’t. The A380 turns heads in Boston. Seems many people caught that, “Boeing A380” mistake from the steward also.
Finished watching the entire video! It was truly awesome and enjoyed every second of it! 👏👏 Sad thing the baby had been crying in parts but I think he/she was behaving very well throughout 👍 And cloud was covering most part of Atlantic Ocean Btw you should’ve walked around more on the “Cabin tour”, like walking upstairs and take a lap inside the plane Keep up the good work and I’d like to see more A380 and B747 vids!! 🤝
@Evral Tatum-Mcfield this flight (London to Boston) only takes ~6 hours and 30 minutes; but, yeah, you've got a valid point: depending on the person, it can get very stressful, very quickly!

I missed the upload yesterday but shall be viewing today 😊after work currently 5am and I’m just headed to work so look forward to getting home to this 😊
Very amazing, glad you had fun when flying on the A380. I've flown on the Airbus A321 to Lanzarote just last week and the Boeing 737-800 to Dublin a few months back, was so thrilled to be on those big birds, I understand that the wings are able to give lift and all but it still amazes me that two heavy objects that even take off and fly in the first place. I hope to become a pilot one day or at least work with aviation... thank you for uploading this video ☺👍🛫
Thanks for the effort for makig this video. As i know, some of the seat in business class is backward, i think it is very strange, and i don't want to sit backward.😂😂
im trying to get rid of my fear or flying, hopefully we are going on a plane next year! i have been searching up about planes to get rid of the fear! its sorta going away :)
Great recording footage as usual Noel apart from the crackling noises. Sounds like an old gramophone needle! Was also on your previous Manchester to to Guernsey video. Noise starts when you are walking around the airport. Just some constructive criticism that can hopefully be sorted out easily in your next video.
Hey Nick thanks for that - yep I know and it is something I'm working hard to resolve. It's to do with the gimbal I use. One of the mics on the GoPro is next to the gimbal motor and picks up a lot of noise. I've managed to reduce it by around half but it's still there. I'm working on ways I can reduce this ahead of my next flights but I've filmed around 10 flights since this one so unfortunately it'll be a while before you see much of an improvement. Reducing the airport volume in edit has helped a fair bit though and you should see a difference soon.
Good video man but had to turn the volume down that kid was so annoying after takeoff from London how you did that man respect I couldn't sit on a flight that long listening to a child cry like that at the top of there voice good video and quality mate
I very nearly did Virgin Atlantic for this flight. It was the same price as BA, but would have been A340 and 747 rather than A380 and 747. I chose BA to get the airmiles as I collect with them.

These videos are so cool having the full flight, It's pretty amazing actually.
I’m so glad that I have flown on 4 Airbus A380’s. All of them were about 13 hours. Toronto to Abu Dhabi
Very educational experience by just watching this and all the other airlines and their pilots in the cotpit 😊 ❤ 🎉 watching from New Zealand

Yeah, its amazing, that something that weights 560 tons can fly...

Have done this exact same route a few times previously and this video gives me so much nostalgia for those trips to see family
I love these videos, thank you. I find them so relaxing.
I'll love to fly an A380 one day. Perfect video for me to fall asleep to thanks 😊😊
Wish you all the best in the future to become a pilot in an aircraft 330-300 . Cheers 🥂 from Hastings New Zealand 🎉 😊
Always a squarking kid on board no matter where you fly to or which airline youre flying with. Wow its a long taxi from T5 to the runway
except first class the only kids are mine they don’t scream
i live in boston, or near i see all these aircraft, it's truly awesome!

45:58 Wow the steward said Boeing A-380....lol
Tim Garrison lol yea, idk why. 🤔
I think he meant going A380
Stupid mistake. Boeing will never make such a great plane as the A380, they only make junk.
I bet this pilot watches Swiss 001
Andrew Baumgartner hey shut up Boeing is better than airbus in my opinion
Nice view of the wing and flaps. Very full flight report. Another one for me to strive to get better with making of mine that I do. Again, thank you for taking the time to produce these...
I’m terrified of flying but find this video fantastic, the flight looks so smooth and onboard service looks very good 🤗
I had a slight panic attack as it began to take off from the runway smh.
Ever managed to get over your fear?
So, have you ever flown, or...?
On that filming day, it was the last day of school for Apprentice at Monarch School Guatemala, and I was in that level.
