Soooo no one ever told me to use this FOR stamina but Dr Huberman said it's a good alt option for caffeine and then I found out it was a thermogenic item so I put two and two together and did my own testing. This works REALLY well for people trying to exercise that lose stamina, people that are lazy and need that little OOMPH to get going, or whatever else. I have ONE cup in the mornings with some guayusa tea and then in the afternoon again if I exercise again. OH I also take ALC with the teas.
It also will speed up your metabolism a wee bit and make you SWEAT which I love. I get my sweatpants and sweatshirt on, turn the AC off, drink my damn tea and GO. I'm still top this day shocked how energized it makes me get because even coffee doesn't do that for me. Coffee, in fact, does nothing to me.

I feel jittery after coffee but not after green tea. It certainly has a different effect so to say you should avoid caffeine entirely won't be true for a lot of people.
I think the more mellow effect has to do with l-theanine although the extent to which that is responsible is uncertain as even if I supplement l-theanine when having coffee it can still make me jittery and anxious. Although less so.

I'm argentinian. It just tastes good. Don't drink it for any effect, most of the "effects of yerba mate" you'll find on the internet are straight up bs. It has some caffeine, around 10mg per 50g of yerba (one mate). For reference coffee has 100mg per mug/cup

I learned, reading comments in these videos, that many people in the US are more careful with coffee (caffeine in general), like, earlier I said kids in Argentina drink mate *occasionally,* like 1 or 2 sips by day, and someone said to me "yeah, right" like he doesn't believe me 😂😂 I drink coffee and mate since I was a kid, I'm not drink it all the time, maybe that's why I don't remember to notice those jittery from drinking coffee 🤔 maybe if you never drank caffeinated drinks you could feel that the first time you have it 😅

The biggest problem of mate is the caffeine and you should not take too much per day, but actually have a lots of good stuff like vitamin C,D,E and some of the complex B and some minerals like iron, potassium, phosphorus and manganese.
If you have insomnia, gastritis and anemia you should avoid drinking that.

Swear I'm not a bot or paid comment. But because this guy was all over my feed all last weekend so I bought some yerba off Amazon... ngl shit
    S L A P S.
I didn't use the gourd and straw but seeped the leaves in simmering water. It hits like a freight train.
Coffee and redbulls usually make me feel dehydrated if not chased with water constantly. But yerba seems pretty decent. There is a small crash/come down once you give it a rest and stop drinking but nothing close to a coffee or energy drink crash.
I know I seem like a bot, but this shit is pretty good.
