To those considering getting the product guide/bundle on her website, Do it! Seriously! I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if it would be something I would look at one or two times and not get my money's worth, but I've spent literal hours referencing the product guide alone. It's insanely detailed and also formatted to be easily read. It is very organized and there are pictures of each product so you can more easily find it in store if you want it. She also has it set up that each product has a link attached that sends you to a website where it is available for even more ease. I've even opened the file up at the store when picking out products. To share how helpful the product guide is, one example is shampoo x (we'll say x so I don't reveal any of her content) has a high level of fragrance and also protein. So if you are sensitive to fragrance or if you already have a balanced protein routine, you can steer clear. Or if those two things meet your needs/preferences, it works that way too. I can safely say that the product guide has saved me from hours of discouragement and heartache from failed wash days because certain products' properties didn't work for my hair. And also saved me money and prevented wasted products. I saw so many products that come highly recommended by some that would have really not worked for me and I would have been confused thinking I was doing something wrong when in actuality the product just isn't for me. Another example is some products contain glycerin, which contributes to frizz in certain climates, and you may not know it and continually have major frizz days and just think that there's no hope. I also want to say that I wasn't asked to say any of this and I purchased the package with my own money. I just really am grateful for the hours of research put into the product guide and how much time and effort it has saved me. You can tell the care and hours and hours of work putcinto it and the other wonderful things in the bundle. She also has a very thorough wash day log that helps you observe how different products and styling habits impact your hair. I'm very excited to start using that on my next wash day. There are other things in the bundle but it really is worth at least checking out the details about it on her site but again, I say get it. Even if you're new to your curly journey, it's set up so it's understandable to everyone. But yeah, just a genuine review and recommendation. :)
For the person who said they weren't getting enough hold from their gel, another potential reason is what type of cream &/or leave in they're using & how much they may be using.
@@ninaexmachina too much cream or a cream heavy in emollients will take away from the gel cast. Sometimes you can compensate by using extra gel, but you have to be careful that you don't use too much gel on top of too much cream or too heavy of a cream cuz you'll probably weigh your hair down from the heaviness.
Oil pre poo has been a game changer for my hair! I use the Curlsmith Shine Oil & am about to order my second bottle. Thanks to you recommending this method in a video earlier this year, I put it on a few minutes before showering! Double cleanse, condition & soft shining waves every time!
A comment you made when talking about fine wavy curly hair really made me think. You mentioned that maybe a curl cream and no other styler may be what works. I've let off curl creams, but never just used the curl cream and no gel. Intriguing!
Please can u do a video on how to love and embrace natural wavy hair? I can’t stop straightening my hair and I always feel self conscious about it not being curly enough. I feel like I look better with straight/blown out hair 😭😭
I am 55 , did some highlights in the past and I don’t think my hair is damaged but I think it could look better. My hair is fine, thinning and gets frizzy pretty quickly. I use leave in conditioner carol’s daughter, bumble and bumble for air drying. All products I use have milky light creamy consistency and even though have to wash them every other day. Please tell me what I can do to get them healthier or at least less frizzy and dry. Thank you 😊
Hello! I’ve just started my wavy girl journey. I’ve started following and have really been enjoying your videos! Do you have one that shows how to refresh in between wash days? I’ve had good results from your wash day tutorials. Thank you!
When I style my hair my widows peak always insists on falling straight down into my face, I’ve tried styling upright, upside down, leaned back, and every other way I can think, normally I end up pinning that section back because I cannot stand it laying in the middle of my face while the rest is nice and in place, any tips for this?
Sincere question: what is fearfully made? Philosophical question and I’m genuinely wanting to understand what you mean. 🙂. Ps you’ve helped me so much with my wavy hair!!
GREAT Tips and info!! I GREATLY appreciate You!! You are HUMBLE, SWEET & a JOY to listen to!! LORD BLESS YOU & YOURS!! this 2024!! Your friend from the Heart of Missouri ❤Mrs Tj
I'm try in the lest wash day new strong hold gel. i guess that i use a little to much on the back of my hair, cause i in the second day and feel some pieces of wavy curls that it's still crunchy but i like the the gel and i think i will still using it.
A question to all of wavy curly girls: what do you do with a product that proved to not work for your hair? It’s a shame to dump almost full bottles. They all have expiration date though, and I can’t keep them in my bathroom in hopes that some day they will miraculously begin to work with my wave pattern… I am also the only wavy girl in my family, which makes it hard to pass curly products to anyone in my family. I started to try to figure out which products suit me best, and it has alredy left me with a several bottles of styling products that proved to be too heavy for me. Any ideas and advice what to do with all that?
I leave my products that didn't work for me at my staff lounge with a sign "FREE PRODUCTS." Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for someone else! Someone always takes it!
I get that if i have greasy hair or lot of dandruff good anti dandruff shampoo work well in the day i don't need clarifying but need good clean. try to find the best shampoo for oily greasy or anti dandruff shampoo.
And i like use shea butter for a pre poo cause i have coarse and thick hair and most of the time my hair need moisture but i find good affordable conditioner that has a protein for day i need good slip and some of protein after i use the anti dandruff shampoo.

Definitely!
Do you think it's more likely to be too much cream or too little cream?

I will give mine to friends or sell in FB groups - they’re are some great wavy hair selling groups on Facebook 👌
Does anyone have experience returning products that didn't work for you?
Shampoos I use as shower gel. Conditioners I use to shave. Gel I just use it up on days where I'm going to wear my hair up.
Consider donating it to a women's shelter.
I bought an $8 volume brush off of Amazon. It works great and I didn't have to spend $50. 😊
Love a good steal like that!

Hello! Can you tell me what dry shampoo you are using in the video?
@@amyburri4280 You know that i see the answer in my comment.
@@amyburri4280 i think it's the Hair Dance Volumizing Dry Shampoo Powder
It seems like your hair was more curly when it was long...is it my imagination?
