Simon has realized that Matthew has feelings for Mary, he recognizes it because of his own marriage. He is being to see Matthew as a person and not an “unfeeling” tax collector. Then when they find Mary and Matthew is NOT repulsed when she vomits, instead he jumps right to her aid. Simon notices Matthew isn’t covering his mouth with his handkerchief, and Matthew has finally admitted that he hasn’t been a good person. He didn’t think about the pain he was causing his parents with his occupation choice. Tax collectors often charged the people way more than what Rome said their taxes were so they could make as much as possible. Matthew up into this point has not openly acknowledged any of the pain he caused his own people from basically stealing from them. Simon is shocked at what he is seeing with Matthew- a change he didn’t expect.

Rather than taking the shows depiction and making it your own. At least that's what I took from her comment. Either way, thank you for adding that scripture for those that are not aware of how easy it is to make idols.
I love how you are stopping and having conversations about certain pieces and still watching the whole episode at this point you’re the only one doing this on RUclips
I really appreciate your questions about “is this really Jesus or is Dallas just making Him more appealing?” It has taken me a lot of work to be able to accept that scripture teaches us that Christ is able to forgive our darkest sins and we are changed because of HIM.
I like it when the priests in the small synagogue tell Jesus that, "If this man was meant to be healed, God would have done it himself." Then Jesus replies, "Interesting point." Them not knowing that he *ahem* is God...
Sometimes it's easier to go back to what we know, even if it was bad, because it's familiar and we know how to handle it. Many addicts relapse because they don't know how to handle the good, because it's unfamiliar and they don't feel worthy of it. But the old life, even a bad one, is a familiar way of life, and is easier because the person knows how to live it. Some abused women go through that and are afraid to leave the awful life they're in. May we all cling to Jesus and find strength in God.
23:00 Yes, I've said this to myself so many times, "I have faith in him, not in myself" I've prayed about it even and when I watched this chapter I cried a lot
There is a spirit of wisdom and understanding in you. The way you Express about the mind and the heart, it's really amazing. God bless you more! And yes we should sacrifice our past 👍👍
The idea of Mary returning to the very places and people she was in fear of… often for those of us who struggle with past trauma, ptsd, addictions, or anxiety disorders, returning to a place where you KNOW there is danger and risk can make you feel infinitely more secure than being in a safe place where you’re filled with uncertainty and insecurity about potential dangers and risk. I guess it’s better described as putting the danger right in front of you, instead of having to perpetually look over your shoulder, waiting for danger to show up. As a follower of Christ, it isn’t what we should do, but in our weakest moments, it can often be our default, if we haven’t learned healthier ways of dealing with our fear, or learned to lean wholly on Christ for our strength.
You are wise and I am grateful for your post as trauma isn't easily if ever overcome. Seeing that Roman horseman triggered whatever happened to her before her possession. She's in a place of the "unknown" with Jesus and triggered past pain is well known to send people back to old unhealthy habits as the outcome, albeit not a good one is familiar. I think the writers of this show really did their homework on human nature to make these characters relatable. I look forward to her reconciliation with Jesus as He will lovingly forgive her albeit she might not easily forgive herself for straying.
@@matthewnewman2077thinking and praying for you I too am going through bereavement God promises he is close to the broken hearted he is with us every step of the way
The key is her repentant attitude, there still is some price she will face. God forgives sin, but we may still suffer negative consequences from that sin.
when I converted, I felt that I no longer identified with some things, and naturally I left, somethings were more difficult to left but as Philipe said in another scene "sometimes we need to have faith first to feel later". And it was like that in some of these things that I left, the Holy Spirit was touching and purifying me little by little but no one forced me to do anything, the Holy Spirit convinced me and gave me strength to do it.

What a beautiful take on Mary and Jesus, Jesus and Mary. He just wants our hearts, He knows that we are weak even now, but He is our strength and His Blood covered all our sins, all he wants is our heart; a relationship
By the way @Leonardo Torres Music, i see you in this dialogue that Matthew, Simon and Mary just had. Mary said she is unworthy and cant face Jesus and all that, and the ying and yang that is Simon and Matthew reminded her of how she has been good to the group. Going back to me seeing you in this dialogue, you say you are an amateur, you are new, still learning and but I don't know if you realize how much you are teaching us "veterans" in Christ. I am learning a lot from you and to me you might be new, an amateur but a great teacher. Thank you so much
He said be ye separate, sometime the demonic can transfer on to other people if they're not strong enough. Put on the shield of faith, go out clothed in righteousness; put on your armor
Watching now, it's interesting how you talk of the difference between harmless and peaceful. I have often heard that said about Jesus. He is called meek in scripture, but the meekness our Lord displays is not weakness but rather strength under control.
I so much enjoy watching alle episodes on your channel - Here in Germany they just started to translate season 2..Thank you very much for every stop, question, remark, silence - many greetings to you and Erika and La Familia 😊
This is one of my favorite chapters !!!! Yes my friend this is Jesus, but I don't only know it from personal experiences, the same one who shouted to the Pharisees how you will escape the condemnation of hell!!! Was the same one who whispered to the adulteress: - I don't condemn you either, go in peace. I love his personality, his character is like that of anyone who has existed or is going to exist, because he did not tell people what they wanted but what they need to hear and I know few people with that value, but there are people who do, what happens is that the personality of Jesus is even richer. He did not respond harshly or forgive depending on whether someone was religious or not, (we see the scene with Nicodemus for example) he knew people, he knew when to give a difficult answer to someone to hit that heart a little and make it break, it is good that pride is removed so that a little light enters there. I love every one of your reactions. God bless you
Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7 who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”
You say you are a non Christian.but you have helped me so much. To uproot issues and potholes in my heart and mind. Thank you ,you have helped my faith greatly. Keep pursuing HIM let HIM draw you to HIMSELF.
Leonardo Torres Music, I am watching this on 10/1. I don't know if anyone has answered the questions for the spirit you were pondering when Mary went to Jesus and He forgave her and told her,"It's over." This is a definitive answer, so it's not short. :) But I think you will find it captivating because it's not my words, but from God's Word, the Bible. I believe the best way to find answers about God is in His Word and there are many verses to answer the questions you posed from this particular scene of Mary being forgiven by Jesus. :) Questions: Was Dallas oversimplifying this, making Jesus look too good, too compassionate, too forgiving, making Him seem too understanding? Is there any way this is unbiblical? The answer to all of these is, "No." I know this because the proof is in Scripture. 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL [caps added] unrighteousness." Like you said, the heart is at the center of this. When we come to Jesus with our genuine, heartfelt confession of our sin (ANY sin) to Him (simply telling Him), He forgives us, just like that. Just like He did with Mary.. She was repentant. She not only knew she had done wrong, but she confessed it to Him and was genuinely sorry for her sin. What did Jesus do? He forgave her. Simple and true. Not always easy, like for Mary, it's sometimes hard to admit our sin to God (although He already knows about it since He's omniscient/all knowing). But in repenting and confessing our sins to God, we are humbling ourselves, which comes from the heart, right? :) He knows when we are being genuine and when we are not. Another verse to support Jesus' compassion and understanding: Hebrews 4:15 from the Amplified Version: "For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin." This is why the humanity of Jesus, while still being fully God, is so beautiful (and why we love how Jesus is portrayed in The Chosen. :) ) He knows what it's like to be us! He understands! He has been tempted in every possible way that every human being has, yet He did not sin. Still, He knows what it's like! Satan tempted Jesus in Matthew 4:5-11. Jesus resisted Satan's temptations with Scripture from Torah/Deuteronomy 8:3. Jesus is the epitome of compassion, mercy, grace, and understanding. Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you." Colossians 3:13, "...bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you." Psalm 86:5: "For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You." These are just a few verses; there are dozens more, if not hundreds about God's mercy, compassion, forgiveness. Jesus changed everything with His death on the cross. Whereas before His death as the sacrificial Lamb for the sin of the world (John 3:16-17), sacrifices of animals had to be done to atone for sin and 613 (or 632?) rules (the disciples are always speaking of in The Chosen) had to be followed. That's why the woven curtain in the Holy of Holies was ripped in two from top to bottom the moment Jesus breathed His last on the cross. BTW, this was an impossible feat humanly because of how the curtain was woven. Matthew 25:50-51, "And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split..." This is VERY significant because it symbolized that no more would sacrifices have to be made to atone for sin, no more would the High Priest have to go into the Holy of Holies once a year to offer a special offering for the sin of the people! Jesus had become the One and Only sacrificial Lamb that would ever be needed again. Romans 6:10, "When He died, He died once to break the power of sin...". He became our High Priest. Hebrews 2:17-18, "For this reason He had to be made like them,[a] fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted." Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin." God says He is our Advocate, too (oh boy, being our Advocate also ties in with His understanding compassion of us--it's rich with meaning), 1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." I know this has been extremely long, but it is SO exciting to know straight from Scripture answers to our questions, and to see how Jesus revolutionized the world through His life and death on the cross for us! He opened a new dispensation of GRACE! :) You know how in The Chosen He's always speaking of mercy and grace to the Pharisees ("I desire mercy more than sacrifice")? That's straight from Scripture! :)) Look up Matthew 9:13, Hosea 6:6, 1 Samuel 15:22, I LOVE seeing these Scriptures enacted in The Chosen---which is why it's loved worldwide. It's speaking truth about the Truth, the Way, and the Life (John 14:6, "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Thanks for reading! I pray it helped and answered the questions of your heart.
those first series of questions were rhetorical. I wanted people to fully realize what a loving and compassionate person Jesus is. Not just know it intellectually as an idea or as a concept or belief, but to TRULY see His goodness. I pointed out what Mary's error was, and wanted all of us to notice what in us makes it so that we do not fully trust in His goodness. I want people to see that just as there are things humans can do to make the world a worse place, there are also things we can do to make it a better place and it starts with YOU. Understanding the movements of your inner world and making those small adjustments that will make it so that you can handle fear, anxiety, anger and resentment more gracefully.
I loved watching this with you. I felt the same emotions. This is a masterful episode. So powerful. Thank you! You missed hearing the full version of Trouble! ❤️
This situation reminds me of people who have been in prison for many years, who, when they get out, figure out a way to go right back. They know the rules and what is expected…. that’s what draws them back: it’s familiar.
Wow and Yeshua just answered my malady. My heart is his forever so I am afraid of losing him. Thank you Leonardo for your questions that made me realize I am a Mary Magdalen
My Mom raised me Catholic, made the Holy communion and confirmation. Went to catechism still did not learn I just know who Jesus was that’s when I can take my mom about. But soon as I turn 18 I was invited to a Christian church and from that day I may not understand it all but that day I felt the Lord‘s power on me. I been to many Christian Church
Btw, his depiction of Jesus being so compassionate and forgiving is very bibical. His forgiveness, our knowing that we don't deserve it, that's the Biblically accurate picture of God's love. That's also how people actually experience him and it's how he wants us to love others.
powerful words, "I forgive you." (note also that Director made sure Mama Miriam was there with Yeshua and Miriam of Magdala to make sure there is a 'covering' between them, a 3rd person present when a male and female are alone in a room together.

To your VERY important question midway thru about whether we feel worthy enough. Gosh I wrestle with this every day. It's the most productive tool Satan has over me. In my lowest I'm too ashamed to pray. Too ashamed to ask for help. I secretly wish that God not see me Those are all the wrong things, the wrong way. I'm middle aged now, was raised in church, been a believer my whole life and I still stumble with that. It's wicked in how effective it is at isolating me in misery. I even avoid watching The Chosen when I feel that way bc the darkness convinced me the light will do me no good. When I finally break free of that gloom it's such a relief I'm humbled and in tears but will put off turning to God for months sometimes. It's so exhausting
Hello safespacebear, I know it's been a year since your comment. I just wanted to say God sees you and knows you. Try to keep THIS in your heart whenever Satan tries to tell you lies. And remember Satan IS a liar. The father of lies. Thats what Satan does, he lies. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - romans 8:38-39 NIVUK
You said something about the way Dallas used cuts to show the emotion on Mary's face and her headspace at the table in the tavern. A very subtle, almost unnoticed but extremely powerful cut in that scene is when they show all the men sitting at the table through her eyes and you see her realize at that exact moment where she is and what she has done. She realizes that this is not who she is anymore and you see the shame on her face. He actually captures her conviction in that small cut. Excellent directing.
He is always inviting us back no matter what we have done. All it takes is to repent of our mistakes and start anew - nothing is so bad that he won't forgive it if we only ask for his forgiveness and change our ways going forward. Even if we take 10 steps forward and 5 steps back, as long as we are trying and making progress he sees that. It is NEVER too late to come back to God (well, unless we have died - but NEVER too late on this side of life).
“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me-we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” Galatians 2:20
Hello from Barbados! You asked a very important question: What does God say about you? That is the question we need to ask ourselves constantly to dismiss those thoughts of being unworthy or broken. It was the question I had to ask myself and look to the Bible to get the answers to get though and get over those thoughts. If He said it, I believe it.
If you were like a lot of young people sitting in a daze in Catholic Mass, all the Gospel readings would have gone in one ear and out the other. But they would have been read at every Mass.
The reason it’s so easy for him to forgive us because his heart is so full of love for mankind. That’s why it’s so easy to love him with all of our hearts and try to be the best people we can be toward others
When you said - You have to sacrifice your past and even your present in order to lay hold of what God has for us in the future…. That struck me… your right that could be a whole TedTalk…
Even though i got here a few days late, my opinion is that the Lord in this passage shows how we all need Him. How we are all weak without Him. Paul speaks in Roman 7;24 "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?. Im at 43;46 lol =) I enjoy watching it with you guys.. Blessings
The Religious leaders were focusing on the “oral” law which was mostly man made traditions that put more laws on the people and most times disregarded the written Torah. There’s more to the oral Torah but for the sake of time it actually added to the written Torah- law. The sabbath was always meant to be a time of rest for mankind and fellowship with the Father. But they turned it into lots of rules and totally missed the real purpose of the Sabbath. Most of the religious teachers really thought they were doing the right thing, but some were all about the power and status, and they had “rules for thee but not for me” and that is what Jesus is coming against with them. So they would help their sheep or donkey on the sabbath, but their own people had to suffer they believed that those who were lame, blind, deaf or had any other issues were that way because of family “sins”. Jesus doesn’t break the true laws. Like allowing the disciples to pick some food to eat. They were not harvesting a crop, just eating to save their lives. Because how they rest on Shabbat/ the Sabbath if they are hungry. The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.
James is following the faith given by God. Not because they don't have any idea what it is he is following but because it became evident in his heart. 😊😊😊 🙏 ❤❤❤

I have always known I had a part to play in the end days and The Holy Spirit returned to me 5 years ago. 2 years ago I baught my first house my dream come true.. 28:19 when we sin, as Mary did, the Devil tells us things in the mind so we don't go back to Jesus' feet, things like "have you sinned too much" "the same sin again?" "you were born for this, stop trying" "this will never end" but it's lies, lies and lies. the word of God says "if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive" has fallen? repent and move forward. Remorse is not what Jesus wants from us because it is a suffering of guilt that doesn't change anything, but he expects our repentance, which is leaving that behind and looking for strength in Jesus not to return to sin. It is Jesus who heals, forgives and empowers us.
To answer your questions regarding Jenkins' portrayal of Jesus refer to the parable of the Prodigal Son. Jenkins had a team of theological scholars: Judaic, Catholic and another look at his scripts before visualizing them on film to ensure that the characterization of Jesus remained as scripturally pure as possible. In their collective agreement, Jenkins is as close as it comes
The man in the beginning was a priest named Ahimelek. This story is In the Bible 1 Samuel 21-22. King Saul found out that he gave the bread to David. (He also gave David the sword of Goliath) Saul then sent his soldiers to bring Ahimelek before him. When Ahimelek admitted that he helped David Saul killed him and all of the male members of family (who were also priests) as punishment for helping David.

"Not a question for the mind, not a question for the heart, but a question for the spirit." @ around 50:00 this was an amazing question Leo!!! (Hope Leo is ok lol) Is Christ to compassionate, forgiving, and understanding? To understand this God answered a prayer of mine and taught me what it means to truly have unconditional love and compassion for another. I was in a relationship that taught me this, “a conversation for another time.”. The compassion and forgiveness of Christ is beyond comprehension, but it is limited to the time before His return, and He is the King and judgment is coming, what that truly means we have to wait and see, but we have to view who He is and how He sees us. With a question this question can be answered. "What would we forgive our children of how much compassion would we show our children, and what would we do for our children?" There are consequences for our actions, and He is a just God, but He loves us beyond what we can understand. The symbolisms Dallas gives us into this amazing recreation is incredible to see how living the word of God is. While this show should not be the only source of biblical understanding, I have watched it some 3 or 4 times and each time I see something different. I wish there was time to cover everything, but that would take volumes to touch on the symbolisms that Dallas has put in and even the ones he hasn't. The interactions of the characters and how they view Jesus is amazing from Mathew looking down the ally at Jesus and Jesus stopping and looking back as if to say, “Not yet, In my time” and Simon hauling in the fish as a symbol of foreshadowing of what his ministry would produce in being a fisher of men. To John listening to Jesus reading Genesis 1 and knowing that the very one that spoke these words in the beginning was rereading them now. If we remember Jesus told him “This is a favorite memory” in the show. There is so much I would like to share in what I have seen and hear what other believers think of my interpretation but there is only so much I can write before it becomes a labor to read. We are stronger when we read, pray, watch as a group of believers. I just started watching your reaction videos and like you I have a view, if I read you correctly, I believe that we should be disciples and not label ourselves Christians until the evidence is there to prove we are “Little Christs” the direct translation of the Greek christianos. Negative connotations associated with Christian's stem from the lack of our lifestyle not being was so clear and unmistakable that we are disciples and working to emulate Christ in our lives. So, until I reach this point of 100% total submission and reflect Christ in all I do I am unworthy to be called a Christian and so I am a disciple from the Greek discipulus meaning student. Churches today, not all but some have adopted a pharisaical view on rules and religion, and not the relationship that God so wants with us. The only one that makes rules for me and can judge me is Jesus (Yehoshua), my savior, my Lord. I hope that all made sense and wasn’t too much. Also, I love how you stop and ask questions, I do not know if this is intentional to teach as Socrates did teaching through questioning, but Bravo!! I look forward to continuing to watch and catch up with your videos and learning from the believers here.
If you ever get a chance, there is a Bible study called "The Disciples Cross". Several groups I personally know have worked through the whole series and have been impacted in such a major way. It is designed not to make you a Christian as the world defines it, but to make you a Disciple who seeks to be like HIMSELF, like JESUS CHRIST....
This is Jesus, as believers we are not ever going to be perfect. Honestly, we are Not worthy of the Father’s love, yet He loves us this much, He has provided a payment for the “sin” ( missing the mark) and even when we fall back sometimes and we feel sad, lonely, ashamed, embarrassed when we return to Him and even when we realize that we CAN’T live up to the Holiness of Jesus, is when He reminds us that of course we CAN’T do it on our own not here, but if we give the Father and the Son our hearts, our desire to live up to His holiness, he forgives us and reminds it comes in time. We wear His holiness as we walk in Him

23:00 Yes, I've said this to myself so many times, "I have faith in him, not in myself" I've prayed about it even and when I watched this chapter I cried a lot
“Your mind and your heart need to find a way to work together”
I didn’t see that before, great point of view!
Thank you!
As a follower of Christ, it isn’t what we should do, but in our weakest moments, it can often be our default, if we haven’t learned healthier ways of dealing with our fear, or learned to lean wholly on Christ for our strength.
incredibly insightful! Thank you!
I am trying to be over a loved ones death,I feel better but I dont if I am ove r it, but not so sad I guess.im glad the chosen is here for allof us.
Thankyou for sharing this helps me understand what I’m going through personally Thankyou
@@matthewnewman2077thinking and praying for you I too am going through bereavement God promises he is close to the broken hearted he is with us every step of the way
The key is her repentant attitude, there still is some price she will face. God forgives sin, but we may still suffer negative consequences from that sin.
💯
In this life, Jason. Not in the next! Hugs from Texas!
when I converted, I felt that I no longer identified with some things, and naturally I left, somethings were more difficult to left but as Philipe said in another scene "sometimes we need to have faith first to feel later". And it was like that in some of these things that I left, the Holy Spirit was touching and purifying me little by little but no one forced me to do anything, the Holy Spirit convinced me and gave me strength to do it.
Thankyou for sharing this I’m going through something similar now
I love that comparison between someone who is just harmless and one who is peaceful. 🕊
Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
Amen 🙏
It's so simple, a lot of people miss it. It's so simple, it's profound...
The Greatest Commandment - "Love one another as I have loved you" - HEART
Ive seen this so many times, but I love watching it again with you. Such a blessing you are
“Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance?”
Romans 2:4 TPT
I really dont recommend reading the Passion Translation, friend. It isn't very accurate at all
HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT! this encourages us to surrender and ask Him to help us with His Spirit. He changes ,us we can’t change ourselves!
It’s a question of identity. Jesus purchased a new identity for us.
The key with Mary is that she is repentant, she's sorry for what she did.
Thank you so much
You can never make Jesus TOO forgiving. Impossible!!
Jesus never excused sin, He always recognized it as evil, yet He always had compassion for sinners ( AKA all of humanity ).
When Mary puts the cover on Mary’s head. 😭 instant feels for me every time I watch!
You say you are a non Christian.but you have helped me so much. To uproot issues and potholes in my heart and mind. Thank you ,you have helped my faith greatly. Keep pursuing HIM let HIM draw you to HIMSELF.
Thank you so much for your beautiful honesty you display in you analysis of the Chosen.
Questions: Was Dallas oversimplifying this, making Jesus look too good, too compassionate, too forgiving, making Him seem too understanding? Is there any way this is unbiblical? The answer to all of these is, "No."
I know this because the proof is in Scripture.
Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted." Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin."
God says He is our Advocate, too (oh boy, being our Advocate also ties in with His understanding compassion of us--it's rich with meaning), 1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."
I know this has been extremely long, but it is SO exciting to know straight from Scripture answers to our questions, and to see how Jesus revolutionized the world through His life and death on the cross for us! He opened a new dispensation of GRACE! :)
You know how in The Chosen He's always speaking of mercy and grace to the Pharisees ("I desire mercy more than sacrifice")? That's straight from Scripture! :)) Look up Matthew 9:13, Hosea 6:6, 1 Samuel 15:22, I LOVE seeing these Scriptures enacted in The Chosen---which is why it's loved worldwide. It's speaking truth about the Truth, the Way, and the Life (John 14:6, "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Thanks for reading!
@@LeonardoTorresMusic Ahhh, I see. :) Thank you for replying.
Be blessed, you've explained it beautifully
It’s awsome that the chosen is helping people

I am new to your podcast and I am a practicing Catholic Christian.
Dallas is working in his purpose. I believe Jesus is this forgiving and compassionate and so, so much more. Rejoice and receive!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤❤❤
I loved watching this with you. I felt the same emotions. This is a masterful episode. So powerful. Thank you! You missed hearing the full version of Trouble! ❤️
Oops this was meant for episode 8!
The one thing to give is your heart. Your heart is your life. It is so simple that a child can understand. It is that simple.
This situation reminds me of people who have been in prison for many years, who, when they get out, figure out a way to go right back. They know the rules and what is expected…. that’s what draws them back: it’s familiar.
Jesus is infinite Mercy!!!!!!
Wow and Yeshua just answered my malady. My heart is his forever so I am afraid of losing him. Thank you Leonardo for your questions that made me realize I am a Mary Magdalen
WOW! FORGIVENESS IS REAL. HE WENT TO THE CROSS KNOWING WHAT WE WOULD DO. HE LOVES US. WOW.
Awesome testimony God bless you Jesus is the way the truth and the life
Btw, his depiction of Jesus being so compassionate and forgiving is very bibical. His forgiveness, our knowing that we don't deserve it, that's the Biblically accurate picture of God's love. That's also how people actually experience him and it's how he wants us to love others.
I would give Jesus a huge hug
I don’t think he’s making Jesus look anything except for what he is and that is a perfect man
powerful words, "I forgive you."
(note also that Director made sure Mama Miriam was there with Yeshua and Miriam of Magdala to make sure there is a 'covering' between them, a 3rd person present when a male and female are alone in a room together.

Dude! Your insights are so good! That’s an interesting concept…maybe we’re not broken, just fragmented. Niiiiiiice 👌🏾
To your VERY important question midway thru about whether we feel worthy enough. Gosh I wrestle with this every day. It's the most productive tool Satan has over me. In my lowest I'm too ashamed to pray. Too ashamed to ask for help. I secretly wish that God not see me
Those are all the wrong things, the wrong way.
My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!”
Galatians 2:20
He is a loving God. He is waiting for us to decide. He gives us free will to choose. His loving arms are waiting for us to choose

This is absolutely the Jesus of the Bible. Dallas isn't making it up. It's just your heart that God wants. 💓
The heart is your soul. Christ only wants you to surrender your heart to follow Him. His grace and mercy is abundant and never ending.
Blessings
Jesus is compassionate - he is unending Mercy; all we have to do is ask for forgiveness. No - it is not unbiblical at all. This is JESUS!
Well said!
One of the favourites episode of mine. 😌
This is Jesus. Love ,compassion, and forgiveness.
There is no "too" where God is concerned! Remember He knows us and our thoughts!
James is following the faith given by God. Not because they don't have any idea what it is he is following but because it became evident in his heart. 😊😊😊 🙏 ❤❤❤
I've had a relationship with Yeshua since I was 12, I fell away for some years and I am 59 now. I have always known I had a part to play in the end days and The Holy Spirit returned to me 5 years ago. 2 years ago I baught my first house my dream come true.. Then cancer and prophecy of the second coming all around us.
The heart holds "The Spirit" 💗💗💗

None of us are worthy. We are all human and make mistakes. That's why he came. It's about love and mercy not about our perfection.

Hi Leo. I love you brother. ❤
Hi from Trinidad and Tobago
We wear His holiness as we walk in Him
Amen... that's why I love the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
