The thumbnail shows a SR100 and a RB 70 as dual end guns. There's a few pivots around that either have the 70CW's or Nelson 44 or Rainbird L36's down the pipe and some even have those old FR guns at the end. You dont see that very often anymore. I know of a few pivots that have 70CWs down the pipe and then a PC100 and P200 at the end. I have not seen those run the P200 gun yet i dont seem to catch them at the right time. I'm assuming there meant for like a "poor mans" corner system, the system runs the normal sprinklers and the smaller 100 gun for a time then when it reaches the certain area in the field it shuts those all off and opens the valve on the P200 gun and that gets an area of the field that the smaller gun can't reach then when it times out it closes that and then starts up the impacts and smaller gun and continues on. I would love to catch some of those pivots changing modes. Those P200 guns are so neat to watch they have such awesome distance and coverage and the reverse cycle they whip back so quick. I know there not made anymore the FR guns always needed constant maitenance to be kept in service. Nowadays its more efficent and cost effective to use a SR nelson or a Komet Twin.. Putting down twice the amount of water going 1 speed both directions, not to mention those FR guns can give the overhang quite a workout if not set properly, brake and whatnot. One day i'd like to learn about how to operate a pivot, and even set up a traveler. I work on computers but this is a hobby.
There is a pivot near my house, a valley. Has a komet twin 101 at the end and a booster pump. one year i saw it running and the stream had good distance then it looked weak. it would cycle thru that constantly. I'm sure it wasnt' a jet breaker add on. I think the pivots booster pump was malfunctioning. This year i haven't seen it do that though. Mustve gotten repaired.
Yes, the small hole is to allow water to drain. When operating in freezing climates, we do not want water to stay in he elbow and freeze over the winter

Great and informative video.
But that potato of a microphone you used for recording purposes and then the wind didn't help.

Do u have any idea of why we have End gun mounted on 2'' Elbow has small hole?
Did u notice it?
