Hey Wayne, hope you see this; I wanna tell you why I love your makeup technique vids. From the ages of 14-32, I was a liquid liner, red lips, heels & matching handbags kinda bird. Then disability stole my career, underwent several brain surgeries, was bedbound for years, my long hair had to go. I'm 42 now & a wheelchair user who still has to manage daily pain. I'm rebuilding this new version of myself on wheels, relearning how best to start engaging with the outside world on these new terms. One of the things I'm relearning is how to apply makeup that fits my age & my energy/pain levels. I'm slowly figuring out what products will work well without endless steps being required. Huge drugstore hauls are no good to me now, instead I'd rather invest in one higher end good quality product at a time (slow as that is when you can't work!). So your videos, product reviews as well as technique ones, are so very helpful to me. Don't ever change, ignore those who whine or criticise because you're not more like the many other RUclipsrs still applying endless layers & products to create looks that are suitable for the stage, not daylight!

Awesome hope I can figure this out lol. Did put on makeup today am trying to use more natural light but always dislike my cheeks end up with too much blush at least for me. I am old less is more lol. You are truly helpful when it comes to blush advice. I am 75 and I look healthier when I add color to my face following your techniques. It’s amazing how a bit of blush on bridge of nose and forehead can take a few years off my face.

I believe this technique will work well and so would blusher on the apples of the cheeks sweetheart. Try both and see which you prefer 😘

Oh, how nice. I struggle with blush placement and this technique will help tremendously. Isolating the cheek with the hand is a technique I use in facial yoga practice to tighten/lift the cheeks.

Can you do makeup for people with freckles? Best foundation for Freckles?
A full coverage foundation may cover your own freckles, I suggest to wet the tip of a pointed eyeliner brush & then tap it into a light brown eyeshadow. Lightly apply that to your skin on either existing freckles or to add some more. Show off your gorgeous freckles 🤩

Wayne, can you give a tip on how to make chubby face look slimmer? I put on a lot of weight recently and been trying to make my face looks 20kg slimmer. 😅
Use a contour shade, ideally pick a matte contour product that's about 2-3 shades darker than your natural skin tone.Apply to key areas, such as under the cheekbones, suck in your cheeks to locate your natural cheekbone line and apply contour just beneath it, blending upwards.
Apply along your jawline and blend downwards to create a sharper edge, sides of the forehead, this will reduce the roundness at the top of the face. Then with highlighter, Choose a shade 1-2 lighter than your skin tone with a subtle shimmer.
Apply to key areas, such as
The center of the forehead.
The bridge of the nose.
Above the cheekbones (this helps lift the face).
The brow bone and inner corners of the eyes to brighten them. Give this a go my

I’m currently experiencing redness on my cheeks which seems to come and go. What is your opinion on using blush during a redness flare? I don’t really want to use so much product that it’s completely covered but I would love some ideas on how to work with it rather than against it.

I'll have to try that thumb to nose technique. I 'm never really sure where to put the blush. In more, no..up more? no, in between those places? OMG...I just never really know what looks the best. Plus having a small face,/head and the too large (for me) brushes, just makes it harder to even apply it right. 🥺 I wish there was a line of brushes for women with small faces.
I like this but how do I add the contour when the bake is in that area
You don’t always need to contour. Try without and if you feel it’s not for you, carry on the way that works for you with your blusher and contour sweetheart 😊
