A very nice morning catch at YVR. Great video. Amazing plane. B777 is truly an amazing aircraft. One of the very best. I had the opportunity to fly on a B777-300ER to Vancouver and also to Toronto in 2018 and 2019. Great aircraft indeed. Thank you Mr ET.

I was getting confused when I heard ATC talking about an A320 but I knew it was a 777 coming in on approach. 😉
Quite common (at YVR at least) to give landing clearance to more than one flight at a time. In this case, Air India was #2 to an A320 (probably AC) that was on a 1-1/2 mile final. Air India was probably 6 - 8 miles away and on initial contact with tower after being transferred from approach.
Hope they have no problems with COVID-19, we've two new cases in New Brunswick, both Mexican farm workers who flew in thru Toronto to Moncton, both in isolation now. Great video.
