Some things that you should know are as follows:
1. Your credit card issuing bank may charge you with an extra processing fee for this type of transaction, so make sure that you carefully check the amount that would be charged as processing fee.
2. Your credit card provider may also charge you with extra interest for providing you with the facility of converting your lumpsum premium into EMI of 3/6/9/12 months.
3. You may have to pay additional GST for availing this type of facility.
