My dad, has been a pastor for the long time, he loved this doctrine of Calvinism, he also loved, once saved always saved. He lives in sin, believes He was saved once. So such doctrine is dangerous.
That's the clarity of the Gospel!!! Great message Freddie & Pastor Scudder! Some folks like to make up their own doctrine of modern evangelicalism. I hope they return to the authoritative Word of God. To embrace what the Lord says about our eternal salvation. I hope all is well with you and your family and ministry my brother Freddie 🙏 ❤️
It’s nice to see a video where both Calvinism and Arminianism are shown as being unbiblical. They are often portrayed as being the only two choices to believe in and opposites of one another. This is simply untrue. Arminianism is merely a milder form of Calvinism.
That was awesome. I wonder if the people who worked on the show called Jim scudder jr. In grace, would make an episode called the dangers of homosexuality or the dangers of LGBTQAL in the near future?
Gospel with capital G refers to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John... 'gospel' (eaungelion) refers to the 'good news' of Christ. Therefore, the title of this video, should be 'gospel' with a non-capitalization. Blessings to you. Pastor John
I’m sorry if this is a silly question but In Matthew 7:1-5 when it says don’t look at speck in your brothers eye and the same standard you put on others will also be used against you. If you have done something like that before you heard the true gospel of grace can you still be saved by trusting in Christ alone? even if you still struggle with the sin that you judged for? Do I now have to do something else besides believing?
Mark 1:15, Mathew 3:2, Revelation 2:5. Gotta repent and turn away from that sin. Give it to Christ. Remember you are fighting from victory, those who believe have already won but sometimes we fail to give it all to Christ to handle the situation. Keep your head up and dive into scripture.
It's got nothing to do with what you can do. Ephesians 2:5;8-9 says your saved by Grace. Salvation isn't doing anything, it's already been done by Jesus Christ finished work on the cross. It's believing that Christ done the work.
Once a person receives Jesus Christ as they Lord and Savior, our father in heaven does not look at us the same way. Every one of us sins, and when we ask God for forgiveness and we understand the gospel of Jesus Christ and what he did for us on the cross, we consciously receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Our father in heaven no longer looks at us as the person we were. Instead, He sees in the same way he sees Jesus. I was sins are no longer remembered. They are flooded out. I spirits are born again, and we will make effort not to be saved, no! But we will make effort to change our simple ways as time goes by. I have found that when a person receives CHRIST we love him so much it makes it easier to change bad habits. And the Holy Spirit will help you. Bible says there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. There is no more judgment for a believer except when we pass on to heaven there is a judgment but not to be afraid because the judgment will dictate what rewards each person will receive in heaven. It is quite different for a non-believer however. We do not need to do one thing except receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior to be saved. Paul makes it very clear and Ephesians 2:8. Where he states, “You are saved by grace through faith. It is a gift from God, not of ourselves, lest anyone should boast.” There is not one thing we can add to what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross for our salvation. He took our sins upon Himself, paying our debts, making us not guilty for all who believe in Him. After salvation, we will be mindful of our sins and as we grow we will send less and less. I hope this helps.
Wow , if only someone could articulate a true Calvinist soteriology. No man is excluded from calling upon God, the gate of salvation is set open unto all men; neither is there any other thing which keepeth us back from entering in, save our own unbelief. John Calvin He should have read John 3: 18 also. I am gong to leave a link to a proper exegesis of that text. He does a wonderful explanation of the gospel. Calvinism is the only system that gives full assurance. John 3:16 ruclips.net/video/BDxRss_v78A/видео.html
There's only one Gospel! There's not a different Gospel or a same Gospel, read Galatians.1:6-9 Paul was told by the Holy Spirit what to write. 2 Timothy.3:16-17; 2 Peter.1:21.

How wise you are to have Freddie Coile on your program. What a beautiful gift of evangelism God has given him.

Jesus died and rose 3 days later. He did that 1 time only.
@@edwardmattox6617maybe he was never really saved. The nature of salvation is that it is eternal
The simplicity of the gospel, I am saved, I believe, believing plus nothing it is a gift from God. Much thank you

Again, a non-reformed person misrepresenting Calvinism on eternal security. They believe in external security John 6: 37-39
Either way you cut it Calvinism is a false gospel
To be fair armenianism is false as well.
