Rewatching these scenes after the reveal hits so different. She was already dropping hints left and right and the way shes managed to frame it as a good hearted princess trying to pose as an ally. This season rlly cooked
i feel like most people hate her just for being a girl or because of how badly she was portrayed in crystalized with her SoG plot being kind of cancelled out since she apparently did have feeling for lloyd so it doesn't even make sense that she would of manip- im getting off topic but sitll she's overhated, she has a good design and season, even if her backstory is a bit.. questionable..? her parents death wasn't controllabale although maybe she blamed the ninja as a way to cope. anyway harumi's cool
same harumi was littally possesed by the overlord in crystalized and she was mentally traumatized so much from the loss of her parents that she couldn't even have a tear it's littally so 😭😭😭😭 and then the royal family is so heartless to her and won't give her the love she need and won't let her love who she loves and would've probaly later gave her a rich a€€ man so the family cann be more wealthy

Like I am still hoping for like a finale battle they recruit all new characters for the ending of dragons rising cause they need a proper ending for the series as a whole to see where all the characters are at like just have her come back in a short or a comic like we all know she exits if she were dead that would be a different story and she is not dead she just got revived in Crystalized season 16 only to be forgotten once again like I know her redemption arc was crappy but if they would have done it right it would have been fine with no controversy and they are thinking it was a mistake to bring her back!? IMO I believe Harumi is lonely, she has nobody that cares about her or loves her and her birth parents are dead and her adopted parents did “care” for her but not her emotional needs and that caused her to be bitter and emotional unstable, the only one that does care about her is Lloyd, that’s why I really hope she gets redemption she has been lonely and alone for so long it’s just sad nobody but Lloyd truly gets her and understands what it’s like to loose everything, I really hope in the Dragons Rising series they will further establish these issues as well as what she did to Lloyd and she could apologize sincerely to him for all the pain she’s caused him and slowly gain his trust throughout all her episode appears, not saying they should be together but they could at least be good friends, that’s what Harumi needs a good friend, a shoulder to cry on, at least in my opinion that’s what I see in harumi as a character not a villain but a survivor on the road to recovery

They seriously need parent lessons they are terrible parents it’s no wonder Harumi ended up being the way she did it is even confirmed in the book Garmadon Rulez! that her becoming evil was a result of her parents death AND her lack of affection from her adopted family, forced to hid those feelings of grief and despair away and feeling like there is no one there to understand you or relate to your situation while everyone is thinking she is the happiest girl in the world living a fairytale “and they go, isn’t she lucky this Hollywood girl? And they say she’s so lucky, she’s a star but she cries, cries, cries in the lonely heart thinking, if there’s nothing missing in my life then why do these tears come at night” (I’m a Britney Spears fan btw) and she was a child when this happened to her to top it all off and she could not leave the palace, sounds more like a prison than a house and taking lessons on how to act like a princess like omg but do u think she is gonna return in dragons rising like I am hoping for season 3 or season 4 she comes back also Lloyd did really care about Harumi and I believe she did care about him too True she might not have liked Lloyd and was just pretending but u never know she could have perhaps developed feelings for him, or cared for him at some point in the series - After she makes Lloyd watch his friends die in front of him she carfully places him back on the moving train, she could have just dropped him and let him die but she didn’t even though she has the chance to. - When she discovered the location of the resistance she did not tell Garmadon until he almost killed her - At the end after she saved a family she and Lloyd shared a gaze and she could have looked at Garmadon but she didn’t she looked at Lloyd and she she had the look of regret, guilt and realization of Lloyd being right all along, she had just witnessed history repeating itself, children losing their parents like she did all those years ago, Lloyd warned her about this but she ignored it until it was shown right in front of her. Lloyd even said her nickname ‘Rumi’ before the building slowly feel down - In Crystalized she was hesitant to follow the Crystal Kings orders to kill the green ninja and instead convinces him to let her talk to Lloyd about joining, after which she lead the crystal council the wrong way so she could talk to Lloyd. They found the and she told them to stay back, she also looked concerned when Lloyd was going over the edge before Lloyd drags her along and they escaped together.
