It's a really good piece. As a Wycombe fan, im absolutely stunned by the scale of this, and indeed, the whole project. Im looking forward to seeing the benefits in the seasons ahead.

Agreed. There's a lot of money being very well spent.

Fab pod and fab presentation by Sean. And fab graphics, look and feel. Influence from Joseph and team behind the scenes, no doubt :)

I like the passion they have for this project. I myself I'm involved in youth development in Africa and we lack leaders that can show these kind of enthusiasm that will male a club succeed

Personally I think the difference between a top Sunday league u16 and an academy player , might be growth spurts, this is why most sports operate on a much delayed development model , rugby doesn't even scout for national talent until 15/16 , sure kids show potential way before that ( Foden, Rooney etc.) but there's so many more stories of later developers/ average academy players all of a sudden breaking througj at 18+ , for me the resources should be top heavy at u18/u21/u23 level.. the amount of top grass roots u18 players must be quite substantial

So basically looking at players released at youth level from other clubs, give them the opportunity to play week in week out and hope more game time they develop and push on. All the coaching to a certain extent already done. It’s now arm around them and give them opportunity. Sounds a smart plan.

I wish Wycombe FC all the best. But the guy at the beginning said a lot without say anything. Hope the kids get better knowledge to be able to move forward with their abilities. Corporate woffle.

over an hour of saying its a blank page and not committing to much? Could be way off but that much vagueness doesn't give me much hope for their academy.
