Same girl, same. I'm mixed Caucasian and Mongolian with asian-shaped eyes but Caucasian features. Every makeup artist just tried to do all the same rut they've been doing on everybody else with a lot of moving lid space. I end up looking like a clown.

I usually hate how ppl do my makeup for weddings and just tell ppl to save money and I'll do my own makeup. They powder my skin to be a million shades lighter, then put lots of tape on my eyelid since they have issues with my monolid, also they try to soften my jawline significantly. They try to make my nose look pointy. A lot of the beauty standards in Asia are to look more western. I feel so ugly there even though I love my natural features.
i love seeing celebrity make up artists’ looks so much more than influencers/beauty gurus. the makeup is still glamorous but so much more subtle and natural

Cushion foundations would be popular in North America if it came in more shades to fit the variety of skin tones in other countries. Sadly many beauty companies don't care about both ends of the skin tone spectrum. People with very pale skin tones have the same problem with dark skin tones, which is availability.
