      Yes thats known. I live in NY
      I know all about the towers and especially my favorite which is the One World Trade.
      I went to the observatory part, which was very high, but with its spire it is 1776 feet, which makes it very tall.
      But these days we have many towers built, that have passed the one world trade already.
      But NY has 3 new towers that have beat the sears tower just in building height which are one vanderbilt, central park tower, and the 111th street.
      But none of them were able to surpass the one world trade.

Crystler, empire state. The empire state used to be the worlds tallest, Then the ORIGInal world trade, but then it got beaten by sears tower and many more after then. But NY towers are unique and beautiful. I am really interested in aviation, towers, and firefighting. I know all about 9/11 and I am very interested in it, and it was very tragic.

As a 10 year old I remember my family driving past this tower under construction late at night and seeing the construction lights on every floor glittering up to the clouds. That vision sealed my fate as an aspiring architect. My least favorite tower is the Freedom Tower. Imagine my disappointment as an architecture school student when I first saw the design unveiled. I remembered back to an architecture journal in the library that contained a picture of a new tower that Harry Weese had designed. The Freedom Tower is a copy of the shape of Harry Weese's building. Plagiarism which was anathema to budding architects was alive and well and celebrated.

      It was designed by a team of experts lead by a CHINESE architect. That company has many offices. If it’s building in China it needs to use talent because Chinese people culturally require things to be done in accordance to our beliefs and preferences. I’m a designer and I’m Chinese I know that when foreigners don’t take into account culture things don’t work out. For high stakes investment you can’t be an amateur and risk it. Chinese firms are more than capable of doing this too. But this project was conceived way before our Chinese architects became more popular. MAD architects is Chinese and it’s considered one of the best in the world since the 2010’s.

    To those of you who are Chinese and want to compare beyond the skyscraper, fine. America leads in space projects, has far more airports, has far fewer high speed rail lines (high speed rail = 3rd world; airports = 1st world), more bridges, a bigger economy, and higher technology, both for the civilian sector as well as the military.
    ... Not bad for a country having 1/5th the population of China...

    • @dritemolawzbks8574
      @dritemolawzbks8574 Год назад

      It's nearly impossible to compare the two countries because they're very different, and the US is a liberal democracy. China functions like the world's largest prison.
      You should also take in consideration how many CCP trolls and government officials are commenting to boost interest in China as they reopen their economy.
      Competition in space and technology is the best result of Cold Wars superpower competition. If you're genuinely supportive of America, you shouldn't feel eager to see China fail.
      They are slowly become less communist, but it's still a centralized command economy that's planned by the government rather than the free market.
      Communism never works, and now that their double digit growth has begun to decline, there's going to be civil unrest. It's easy to keep the country unconcerned about freedom when the economy is growing, but now that it's slowing down, there will be more demands for freedom.
