Great review, I instantly fell in love with this movie. I liked the opening scene, in particular, the most. Iwai is one of Japan's best contemporary directors, in my opinion. Alongside Sono himself.

I watched this movie by mistake, these themes never really speak to me. But I was instantly hooked to the screen, it's a great movie

It's yu aoi right ? but she looks little thick in this movie but in one million yen girl she was so thin , did she loose weight?

yes because she was a teen in this film, i think she was in her early 20s in one million yen girl
