Actually, I do believe they confirmed a continuation is in the works as of last year. However, I don't know if they've announced whether it will be a remake, a continuation from the end of the first anime (since there is more manga left to adapt), or a spinoff. Given the popularity of KHR (in Japan at least), alongside the trend of rebooting anime the past few years, I imagine it should be a remake. I'm really excited for it in any case
