I'm applying for this fall. And I was praying for Gods guidance for my college apps. And I just happened to come across this video and I was like "God is Lafayette a place for a believer like me?" and then I started to see your subtle hints in your Faith and it just made me glad to see believers in Lafayette.
Steven Francis I definitely think Lafayette was where God wanted me to attend. I highly suggest visiting different churches out here or watch live streams if you’re unable to. There’s also a church that has their service on campus on Sundays! Thanks for watching 💕
Steven Francis God’s going to lead you to the best place, keep the faith! I didn’t know where I was going to school until the month before I graduated from high school! Also, I suggest looking at / calling specific offices (like DeClouet Hall) that give out scholarships if you want to give UL one more try. Sometimes taking the initiative and explaining your situation and asking can get you what you need (speaking from experience)
@@AdrienneT_ Dude thank you very much for the advice. I'll look into it. Kinda burnt out tho its my third year applying to college. Sometimes God just doesn't prosper what I want and I'm learning to accept that. Maybe He has other plans for me. James 1 says perseverance in the midst of adversity produces maturity in us. I think Gods been trying to teach me that this season. I don't want the college let downs to take me off track and slow my faith. sometimes we're just called to walk through fog with 0% vision but 100% faith. its kinda ironic that I'm learning this lesson in 2020 lol.
Adrienne T I had wanted to Minor in dance , but I never took any professional lessons before and only self taught myself. So I was like no I’m not gonna do it. Lol.
Paris Johnson if you don’t want to minor in it, there’s dance classes at this studio names Basin Arts that’s close to campus. There’s also a hip hop dance group called Infinity Dancy Group (I’m on it lol) if you’re interested in that!
Congrats! It all depends on your preference. Coronna & Bonin are newer, so they're nicer to me (but also a little more strict) and you have closets. Baker's known for being more lit, but the set up's the same, but there's armoires instead of closets. If you want to connect with students easier -- Coronna has an LLC (one for arts, business, culture, etc.) where you have a class with people in your that live in your dorm.
Congrats! You mean included in the category of dorms? Most dorms look like this. If you're in a private, then it'll basically be in rooms like this, but cut in half.
Adrienne T Thinking about getting a suite style private or jr private suite with a friend from high school. kinda skeptical or apprehensive about a random roommate
renae alisa I understand! If you choose a random, it’ll depend on what dorm you’ll be in, but they typically let you select the interests you want your roommate to have so it’ll be a good match and there’s a roommate swap day if it doesn’t work out.

Hey! I’m applying for housing since I’ll be a freshman in the fall! Is this the shared suite style?
Hey! This is the shared suite style!
the shared suite styles are really nice! I chose the jr. suite style though
I’ll be a freshman too! Congratulations y’all C’O 2023!
I’ll be attending the fall of ‘’22 which dorms do you prefer ?

Hey What Hall Are You In?
I got accepted into UL Lafayette for the summer semester, I'm an international student. Who else is in that category?
Congrats! You mean included in the category of dorms? Most dorms look like this. If you're in a private, then it'll basically be in rooms like this, but cut in half.
Did you have your own room?
I didn't. I shared it with one roommate and within our suite there was another room with 2 more people.
Can you choose rooms at UL?
I don't think the specific room can be chosen, but you can choose the dorm and if you want a shared or private!
also is agnes dirty? i’ve heard of private jr suites & agnes being “crusty”
renae alisa it’s definitely one of the oldest dorms and not my 1st or 2nd choice. Lol I suggest Coronna or bonin
Is this Bonin Hall?
Tharassa Foster it’s Coronna!
did you and your roomate know each other before school?
renae alisa hey! I didn’t know my roommate, I applied/got in late so I just got in where I could! You thinking about getting a random roommate?

What hall is this ?
Khalisha Jhane Coronna Hall!
